I don’t get it, really, Do.Not.Get.It. [Darleen Click]

Why has the Left clutched pearls and gasped with offended squeals in reaction to Mitt Romney’s description of his outreach to recruit qualified women to work with him during his stint as Governor? “Binders of Women” is condescending? How so? Are the squealers so bereft of experience in the private sector they have no clue how Human Resource departments work? That screened resumes are typically presented either in loose folders

“Former Media Coordinator of CodePink Long Island Was One of the ‘Undecided’ Questioners” [Updated]

Well, in fairness, she hadn’t decided yet whether to vote for Obama on November 6, or maybe dress up like a giant inflamed vulva and camp out on the Capitol lawn that day instead. So.  Technically, undecided.  Meaning, there’s no there there. We need to be rigorous and just in our analysis.  Otherwise the terrorists have already won. (h/t nr)   **** update:  Case of mistaken identity? Could be. All

“Threats to Assassinate Romney Explode After Debate”

Civility!  We demand it! — Unless, well, you know.  Racist haters.  Being intolerant of intolerance is never a crime.  In fact, it’s one the progressives’ most remarkable virtues. Just ask them.

“Did Obama Confuse Illegal Alien CROSSINGS With ARRESTS In Debate Claim?”

So asks CNS News. Which, allow me to answer that for them.  No.  Obama didn’t “confuse” the numbers. He lied about that. Because that’s what he does. In last night’s debate, Pres. Obama repeated the claim that the number of illegal aliens entering the U.S. is at a 40 year low, apparently citing a DHS report of the number of arrests. But, saying arrests equal crimes is like saying people

Happy Coincidence, 2! “Gallup: The Unemployment Rate Is Collapsing”

Just in time for the election. Whew!  How’s that for some fortuitous timing, Obama’s agenda finally breaking past the Bush-created economic destruction barrier and working to bring back the economy so swiftly these past two months leading up to the election.  7.3% — a near full  percentage point drop in the last month before the election! Why, it’s an early Christmas miracle!  Yes we can! U.S. unemployment, as measured by

Incidentally…

A buddy of mine, ex-military SF, sent me a text saying that Obama promised a new “assault weapons ban” during his next term. So my question, naturally, is this: does that ban apply only to us as US citizens with a natural right to keep and bear arms, or do the Mexican drug cartels we’ve be arming also have to surrender their caches of “assault” weapons? I mean, fair is

Happy coincidence! North Dakota to build first U.S. oil refinery in 30 years

And just as Obama and his Interior and EPA were finally getting rake over the factual coals — or maybe not coals; coal is dirty, after all, and we can’t have that if we want a healthy green planet, but you get the point — on their egregious and dismal record of throttling actual energy production, purposely and aggressively, while at the same time “investing” in the chimera of green

Second Presidential Debate: thoughts and observations

First, let’s note that I didn’t watch the debate live. Instead, I was out with my family for a bit, won a trivia contest at the local brew pub, loaded up on brown ale, and wound up singing a handful of Styx songs with a guy named Carlos. That’s how life sometimes goes in rural-ish Colorado. When I got home, however, I sat down with some Thai noodles and watched

“Act of terror” is to Obama what “is” was to Clinton [Darleen Click]
