And just as Obama and his Interior and EPA were finally getting rake over the factual coals — or maybe not coals; coal is dirty, after all, and we can’t have that if we want a healthy green planet, but you get the point — on their egregious and dismal record of throttling actual energy production, purposely and aggressively, while at the same time “investing” in the chimera of green energy and green jobs which have done nothing to increase energy supply or reduce energy costs, instead acting as a hidden tax on all Americans while serving only to payback bundlers and Obama cronies with tax payer dollars.
But nobody question the timing. Because that’s unpatriotic. And probably racist in some way.
Honestly: have the propagandists become so panicked that they’re going to spend the next 2+ weeks simply throwing stuff like this out last minute and expect us not to notice the self-serving tokenism of such supposedly emblematic gestures?
Is that who they think we are?
In last night’s debate, didn’t President Obama attempt to take credit for reducing our reliance upon oil in twenty years, due to his increasing the mileage fleet requirements for U.S. automakers?
If he admits that in twenty years, we’re still going to be relying primarily on oil for transport, why doesn’t he push for more development of energy today?
.
Hyperion Energy has been trying to build an oil refinery in Elk Point, South Dakota for five or so years now. They’ve been tied up in pergmitatory by the Sierra Club and the rest of the usual suspects for so long now that all their land-options have expired.
Yes and that is who we know they are.
Bow wow throw the dog a bone… it is no different than throwing a cell phone or 39 to pander for votes. It gets results so that is who they think their client base is. They just haven’t figured out how to add voters who don’t like bones to come when called. We know we are on the menu. Main Course. Arf!
Exactly right, TMI. His problem is he can’t figure out how to speak free market capitalism and growth while working to undermine it all. It’s a problem of messaging, as far as he’s concerned.
If he could, Obama would enact a ban on the internal combustion engine, then turn around and take credit for reducing our alliance on foreign oil.
derp…”dependence,” not “alliance”
Best part? Obama wins Nov 6th, and this permit is rescinded Nov 7th. He and Salazar have already defied a federal judge regarding drilling in the gulf, think they wouldn’t renege on something like this?
Renege? RAAAAACIST!
Wolfie, maybe you wanted to say “reliance.”
Yes.
