When self-justificatory projection and guilty consciences at one’s own ethical and professional failings attack!

Remember Editor and Publisher editor Greg Mitchell’s recent attacks on bloggers while rationalizing the use of propaganda in some of the photojournalistic coverage of the Israel / Lebanon skirmish?  Well, it seems old Greg maybe had a reason to pitch that particular fit of justification.  From Media Info, back in 2003, here’s Mr Mitchell: Since the press seems to be in full-disclosure mode these days, I want to finally come

“I mean, what’s a little nativism if it means no more having to hear ‘nu-cu-lar,’ you know?”

Chris Matthews begs the paleocons to take back the GOP. Media Hoaxes:  propaganda coming home to roost?

Sure, Editor & Publisher continues to attack blogs over the recent fauxtography scandals, but the blogs (bless their confrontational little prole hearts!), continue to fight back—and some in the media have even taken their side!—from Newsday’s Jim Pinkerton to the folks at FOXNews, who just today aired Zombie’s expose of the alleged attacks on Lebanese ambulances (this after they had earlier aired a German TV clip showing Green Helmet man
