Uh, when the fuck wasn’t it clear…?* You’re welcome.

Fiction Bridge
Juliette Ochieng, aka Baldilocks, has published a new novel, Tale of the Tigers, “an interracial love story set at a southwestern university in the 1990s.” Do yourself a favor:
Where are they now?
In addition to whatever future work I do here on protein wisdom, I’m now writing for The QOR, a subscription-based venture that describes itself as “an online library of carefully-selected, reading, viewing and listening content.” It’s an upscale setup that promises to take care of its writers with actual money. Which works for me. I’ll be continuing both the armadillo and red pills series over there, and I’m hoping, too,
“Olympics decision stuns Chicago crowd” [UPDATED]
Remember how Obama was going to win back the love and respect of the world? Oops! Thousands of people stood in bewildered silence in downtown Chicago on Friday after the International Olympic Committee surprised everyone by dumping the city from the race for 2016 Summer Olympics in the first round of voting. The vote in Copenhagen was carried on huge television screens set up in the Daley Center to carry
I think this is what one might creatively call…
Personal narrative embroidery. Idea: next time it comes up, maybe we can, like, vet the guy running for President before he’s elected and gets to work fucking every goddamn thing up. Just spitballing here, of course.
“Unmasking Obama”
Thomas Lifson, The American Thinker: Obama is a literary pretender. Case closed. The evidence is overwhelming that Bill Ayers ghost-wrote Dreams from my Father, the book which established Obama’s pose as a brilliant writer (and therefore a fine mind, in the estimation of many). The stylistic resemblance between the Dreams and Ayers’ work is stunning. Now we know, thanks to Chris Andersen’s new book, that Obama hit a brick wall trying
“Andersen Claims ‘Two Sources’ for Ayers’ Role in Dreams”
Jack Cashill nets an interview with biographer Chris Andersen, who — surprise! — says he had two sources not named Jack Cashill who suggested to him that Bill Ayers was integral to the production and composition of Obama’s Dreams: Andersen claims that the “hopelessly blocked” Obama turned to the unrepentant terrorist Bill Ayers to help him write his much acclaimed 1995 memoir, Dreams From My Father. When I asked about
I get emails
So yesterday I emailed SEK to ask him for Christopher Andersen’s email address. He’d mentioned in one of his threads that he’d tried contacting both Andersen and Cashill, and since I’d contacted Cashill and gotten a response, I figured maybe I could get Andersen to comment, as well. Boy, what a mistake THAT turned out to be.
Jack Cashill responds to suggestions by a “progressive” academic that he is Chris Andersen’s source
First, the predictably strained attempt by a progressive academic to discredit yet another “right wing” intellectual, available here. Next, Cashill’s original post, here. For background, go here and follow the links. Quick summary: Scott Kaufman, in an effort to diminish Jack Cashill’s citation of what Cashill suggests in a post are independent accounts of Ayers’ possible collaboration with Obama on the President’s Dreams memoir, parses Andersen’s account and reaches two
