One gunman in custody DEVELOPING: Multiple people were shot Friday near the Empire State building in Manhattan, the New York City Police Department confirmed to FoxNews.com. Authorities would not say how many victims were shot. The New York City Fire Department said “several people” were injured in the shooting, which happened at 9:07 a.m. on 34th and 5th Avenue. One gunman has been taken into custody, WABC-TV reported.
