Todd Akin, of course, is the brain-damaged Republican candidate (the non-TEA Party primary candidate that Democrats spent $1.5 million to help win) who put his foot in his mouth. Kerry Gauthier is (and you’d never know it if you only read the headlines) the Democratic Minnesota State Legislator caught with something else in his mouth.
