Dems 2008: The Clintons poison their own garden [Karl]

The mockery of — and anger toward — Bill Clinton’s role as hatchet man for the campaign of Sen. Hillary Clinton spreads further among the liberal-left, now including (but by no means limited to) Clinton’s former Secretary of Labor-turned-blogger Robert Reich and lefty journalist William Greider. Although I have hypothesized that a psychological line may get crossed that permanently erodes — to some degree — the Clintonian style of politics (particularly

Liz Stephans & Associate [Dan Collins]

have begun B-Casting on a daily basis this week.  Go check them out, download their cool software, give them some feedback. They’ve been ramping this up for a while.  Congrats!  Speaking of congratulations, it turns out we’re lovable because other people aren’t very bright! Cheers! (h/t Hot Air)

that we were ridiculing yesterday becomes a little clearer. Cuz, y’know, everybody likes a little conspiracy.

Roman Props Needed! [Dan Collins]

So read the subject line of an email to the parents of all the kids in my daughter’s class, regarding a play they’re performing.   I responded: “Yo!  Way to go, Caesar!” No response.  Philistines.

Neiwert on Goldberg, Illustrated [Dan Collins]

When is it way out of bounds to make fun of someone’s untimely death? When it’s homophobic.  This, on the other hand, is truly f*cked. Andrew jumps eigenstadt. Advice to Andrew: Lay off the photons, man.

GOP 2008: “They hate me… they really hate me!” [Karl]

Liberal Fascism, performed

Seems Jonah Goldberg’s new book, Liberal Fascism, has come under a concentrated attack from David Neiwert, last seen here arguing to redefine masculinity along essentially partisan political lines (though naturally, and in keeping with what is his nearly inveterate dogmatism, he missed the thrust of his own analysis). I haven’t yet read Jonah’s book, though the excerpts I’ve read seem diligently researched and forcefully argued — which, ironically, were we

Woman Sodomizes Man* [Dan Collins]

Pat Riotic sends me this interesting item: A 20-year-old female corrections officer is facing sex assault charges for allegedly performing oral sex on a male inmate on New Year’s Eve in an Oklahoma jail. Billie Pelley told investigators that she entered inmate Bobby Mann’s cell and began kissing the 37-year-old inmate “for a while.” She then advanced to servicing Mann, but “stopped after thinking about what she was doing” .
