I’ll be taking a break from the daily domesticity to do a radio show with Ace. Not sure who the guests are, but that’s okay, because I’m not sure what the topics are, either. And really—unless we’re going to be discussing the cost/benefit of going for the higher end stainless or brushed aluminum appliances vs the basic designer black, I’m afraid I’m going to be rather unhelpful forwarding the discourse.

Ban the spectre of full employment! Vote Democratic! Updated [ahem]
Intriguing article with many juicy graphics from the Belgian economic think tank, WorkForAll. It shows quite clearly the economic nosedive into which we’d be thrown by the ignorant socialist economic policies the Dems want to enact. It demonstrates and explains the rapid growth of Ireland (from 22nd to 4th in the EU in a generation) and the needless stagnation and waste enjoyed by Belgium and the rest. The site’s library

Meh. So what if the ACLU has joined a number of other ideologically “neutral” NPOs in dropping its non-partisan facade and announcing its support for the Democrats (because let’s face it: nothing says “we value civil liberties” more than smoking bans, the surrender of private enterprise to a massive centrally-controlled government, municipal usurpation of private property to feed the common weal, and non-denominational holidays stripped of their celebratory cores and
Open Wound Thread [Dan Collins]
Rho has a complaint: I’d like to thank the guest bloggers for exercising restraint in their posting. I’d also like to thank them for aping Jeff’s style and failing to be half as amusing. Meanwhile,
When Two Tribes Go To War
Two giants are squaring off, Walmart and the RIAA (the granny suing people) are set to battle each other, and even though I dislike Walmart and never shop there, I have to root for them. The bulling RIAA has no real power compared to them, and if anyone is to defeat the RIAA it is Walmart. When you can easily pick up a DVD for below $10 and yet a
Wachmadinejad: Bush Inspired [Dan Collins]
Seems the Iranian President and the looney left keep getting more and more on message: According to the Iranian media, Mr Ahmadinejad said he had inspirational links to God, and went on to say that if you were a true believer, God would show you miracles. Then the Iranian president said Mr Bush was similar to him. According to Mr Ahmadinejad, the US president also receives inspiration – but it
The Last Weekend [Pablo]
Larry McCarthy probably didn’t see it coming. On Friday, just 3 days ago, Larry’s wife filed for divorce and Larry was served with her petition. It appears that she took their two children and removed them to an unknown location. Yesterday, Sunday afternoon, at about 3:00, Larry got a call from the Franklin, MA Police Department. Mrs. McCarthy had obtained an Abuse Prevention Order which required Larry to leave his
