Yet another reason to end public unions. Upon arrival, members of the recall committee were encircled by union protesters carrying signs and a leader with a mega phone who began chanting and ranting loudly. They packed in tightly around the petition collection table so as to prevent those attempting to sign from doing so. At one point, a pro union protester, pretending to be interested in signing the petition, wrote

     “Yep. That  Brown-throated Sand Martin dead.” ~ finis ~

Yeah? Well some say the feeling is mutual. And some are determined to move the GOP back toward conservatism and classical liberalism, and away from the kind of “maverick” pragmatism that has, when coupled with the soft socialism of today’s left, crippled the currency, the economy, the job market, and public confidence in the government to do anything more than enslave them.

They think getting a ~ 2% cut on the proposed budget in exchange for upping the debt ceiling can — while keeping the government open for business — is a big win, optically speaking.
