I took a break from working on my film and was watching TV last night and heard the most disgusting thing. I was watching Friday Night Lights and all of a sudden… They were PRAYING, and not to allah or buddha which would have been fine, but to God! Where was the FCC to protect our ears, where was the ACLU? I thought that the F word, the C word, the the G word (except when bleeped out and followed by damn) were not allowed! Oh I’m sure NBC will blame it on a ‘Bible malfunction’ or something like that, but breaking the rules of PC should be punished far more severely then some booby flash at a football game.

When the government owns the airwaves, I’m sure that broadcasting Friday prayers will be verbotten, unless it’s required. In the meantime, you’re still (mostly) free to broadcast what you like, with some exceptions. Ironically, the exceptions seem to be motivated by Judeo-Christian mores. Go figure.
