Everything old is new again, 2

Via Hot Air, “Former ambassador Ed Peck defends Hezbollah”

For the record.  On the teevee, even.

Ladies and gentlemen, I give you the Carter Administration.  Or, as the Iranians are fond of saying, “the gift that just keeps on fucking giving!”

More here.  But if that’s not enough, just pick up, say, The Turner Diaries. You know—for some extra Jew cabal flavor.

  1. Allah says:

Heh.  I like the Turner Diaries line.

It should be noted, though, that this guy also served under Reagan.

  2. MarkD says:

There is one Israel and lots of Muslim countries.  If you’re a Foreign Service Officer, which side do you think will give you the most opportunity in your career?

It’s not like those guys understand that their job is to represent America’s interests or anything like that.

  3. Why am I surprised, I shouldn’t be.  Exactly how easy is it to get people to talk when one of the people is just thinking about how to jump across the table and kill the other?

What I don’t get is the never ending need to playcate to people that people like this have.

  4. Tom W. says:

One thing the last five years has taught me is that there are some seriously deranged people in the highest levels of politics, the media, academia, intelligence, and the military.

Can you imagine the loons who are screened out?

    Yikes.

  5. DrSteve says:

Can you imagine the loons who are screened out?

You’re assuming the point isn’t to screen the loons in?

  6. Major John says:

When he said Hezbollah wasn’t a terriorist organization it made me wonder if anyone would qualify, in his eyes, as a terrorist organization.

I like his supposition that anytime enemies sit and down and talk it will ratchet things down.  Pity the Chinese didn’t think of that after the Rape of Nanking, or the Polish in mid-September 1939, or the Kuwaitis in … aw, never mind.

  7. Erik says:

At least the Fox audience was laughing at him.  But, then again, they’re all deranged fascistas.

  8. corvan says:

Let’s have a contest.  Who is crazier this guy or Semanticleo?

  9. Phil Smith says:

Aw hell, corvan, whadja haveta go and do that for, huh?  Peck doesn’t post here, the other shithead does.

  10. Rusty says:

    Hey Ed! Pull my finger.

  11. TODD says:

    Corvan

    Can we have a tie?

MJ great point, but there are a thousand more instances you forgot to mention….

  12. Skul says:

Posted by Corvan “Let’s have a contest.  Who is crazier this guy or Semanticleo?”

I vote for Dick Gregory. Moonbatmonitor has an interesting piece on him from a couple days ago.  Unbelievable.

  13. nk says:

One rope.  One tree.  One moron.  (Full credit to Misha at some blog with a long name that sounds like a dog’s.)

  14. corvan says:

And before some Greenwald sock puppet shows up…CONDEMNATIONS ALL AROUND… with a cherry and whipped creme on top.

  15. Big Cooze Hunter says:

I heartily commend your condemnation corvan. Congratulations. Corporal. Now I condemn this post as being totally condemnable.

I once condemned a post in my pajama’s. How it got there is too much information.

  16. Major John says:

    TODD,

True – but there ain’t enough bandwidth on this here site to list all the examples that contradict Mr. Peck…

  17. One man’s terror apologist is another man’s Carter administration ambassador to Iraq.

    Turing Word: policy

  18. Merovign says:

I’m kind of shocked that no one is calling old Ed here “Mr. Pecker.”

Because, I mean, listen to him. If he isn’t a prick, who is?

  19. I’m sorry, could I have my condemnation with a twist of lemon?

(IMAN: I’ll have a twist of lemon.

MISC. OTHER GUEST IN L.A. STORY: I’ll have a twist of lemon.

MISC. OTHER GUEST: I’ll have a twist of lemon.)

  20. Pedantius says:

    Jeff,

Amb. Peck is the head of the Saudi-funded Middle-East Institute, “the Wahabbi Lobby”, that also employs -guess who?- Amb. Joseph C. Wilson IV.  Peck is the ‘voice of America’ on the BBC World, the go-to-guy for that pithy, Jew-baiting quote.

  21. Improbulus Maximus says:

I have read the Turner Diaries, and if one just replaces all instances of black, negro, and Jew with muslim, it’s astonishing how accurate it is.
