I didn’t post a December fundraiser bleg because I’ve been gone most of November, and because so many of you helped while I was trying to deal with my brother’s perfidy and the financial strain it (temporarily) put on us: nobody’s expecting to have to hand over $16K with a day’s notice, particularly after they’ve just purchased a house and used their savings and out of pocket money to secure the downpayment and then to purchase with cash aftermarket flooring, tiles, furniture, etc.

I’m still waiting to hear from the doctor — the blood work was back Tuesday but when I called yesterday afternoon I was told he still hadn’t reviewed it — which kinda sucks when you know you’re dealing with a patient who is going through a lot of personal family turmoil, has a history of anxiety issues, and tends to worry far too much. Not the best impression for a new doctor to make, I guess is what I’m saying.

At any rate, my sister is now going through a kind of breakdown, and my wife and I have decided to let her stay with us out here — far away from the tumult and familiar anxieties of Maryland — for the next month or so. So again, if I don’t show up here often for a spell, please forgive me. I will be back (health permitting), but right now I’m juggling lawyers, probate, family breakdowns, wrestling, tending to the boys, dealing with warranty dodgers, and a wife away for work.

I’m keeping up with current events as best I can, but the benefits of having seen coming all of what’s going on now back when Obama was first elected leaves me feeling like I’ve already written what needs to be written. Only the individual instances change; but the pattern and plan have and always will remain the same.

This is not a Good Man. He’s a Marxist, a malignant narcissist, an Alinskyite, an adept of Cloward-Piven, and he has no real opposition from a timid party that is content to lose more slowly — for all their bluster, and for all their “pragmatism.”

Glad lots of others are starting to notice, even as they pretend I don’t exist and wasn’t calling them out for being useful idiots to a rank demagogue and a corrupt GOP going way back to McConnell’s telling statement that the era of Reagan is over — and that the GOP risked becoming a regional party.

Ironically, it was the grass roots and the “extremists” like me — the ones who, many admitted, were at one-time very “thoughtful” writers, but who had morphed somehow into knuckle-dragging morons at the thought of a black President — that saved the GOP. And it is the people like McConnell who are working to make sure it becomes a regional party.

It’s who they are. It’s what they do. Squared.
