Is it okay to shout “fire” in a crowded firehouse?  One that’s actually, y’know, on fire?  Metaphorically speaking?

Not in Montgomery County, MD, it isn’t.*

But is it OK to shout “Movie!” in a crowded firehouse?  That’s the real question.

Unless, of course, the real question is supposed to be somewhat more metaphorical.

Yeah. And you thought the blogosphere was tough on CITIZEN JOURNALIST for a similar “offense”. People, all parody, satire, irony, etc. must be labeled as such. For your own protection. The actions of pissy morons everywhere are YOUR responsibility. It takes a village folks.

    Ah, my hometown.

  4. I’ve lived in Montgomery County for 18 years.  The folks who make policy here aren’t some fruity nutcases who haven’t showered in weeks, as in Berzerkeley.  They’re well educated, rich fruity nutcases who shower frequently.  The fact is, though, that nearly all the stupid policies announced here are immediately ridiculed and go nowhere.  But then again, I tend to be an optimist.

“Movie” is okay. Just don’t shout “crowd”.
