Elia: “Not that there’s anything wrong with not having a job, mind you. Just sayin’.”*
Warning: not safe for work. Though with a little imagination, it could turn into a fine drinking game.

Although not sports-related, Casey Kasem’s infamous tirade is pretty good too. He doesn’t curse as much as Weaver or Elia but he makes up for it by showing his dark side.
Casey likes to come across as this cheerful, nice guy who also gets emotional when he does those stupid “Long Distance Dedications” on his American Top 40 show. Actually, he’s a dick.
You hear him going off about doing an LDD for a dog that died. Kasem yells at his staff, a la John Bolton, and orders them around. The tape ends with him whining about how his show is on at 2 in the morning in some rinky-dink market somewhere.
Another celebrity phony gets exposed. Nice.
Let me know if you can find the link. I’d love to hear Shaggy go off on some underlings.
Oh yes, that does bring back memories. The beautiful thing about it is that it was actually a pretty commendable speech, in a losing your shit, totally unhinged sort of way. At the end of this year it will be 98 years since the Cubs won the series, guess their still waiting for it to “start to flow”!
I think Ace has the Casey Kasem thing.
Or you could just listen to Don & Mike.
I got your Casey Kasem right here. The Howard Cosell is good also, though not profane.
