She is, in point of fact, an attractive woman. But no comic is sexy when he/she is in character.
And I don’t think she’s overweight at all. Just a little voluptuous.
She’s not just “I wonder if she’s gay?” gay. She’s full-on tell it from a podium gay. Not that there’s anything wrong with that.
By the way, zaftig isn’t a derogatory word. Literally translated from the Yiddish means “succulent” or “juicy”. It’s a slang synonym for voluptuous (not overweight).
I like some of her comedy, but dislike her politics.
