Yeah, right. Like a woman who thinks a Quarter Pounder with cheese is a flawed diamond would ever eat an Egg McMuffin.
…Christ. You people really disappoint me sometimes.

underpaid Guatalajaran kitchen help of update: Teresa wails, “Don’t question my husband’s patriotism, unpatriots!”
(h/t Ace)
What did she order it to do?
Light dusting, followed by a buff of her elbows and foot callouses with a heavy pumice pad.
“I believe that discussions or attacks on [my husband’s] service undermine the peace of mind not only of Vietnam veterans but of those now fighting for their country,” she told the Dayton Daily News. “
Well if she believes it, it must be true.
And I believe that most veterans are tickled by the Swiftvets bringing the chickens home to roost on Kerry’s coop/campaign. Kerry, who has disparaged and denigrated our armed forces over the last 35 years in word, in deed, and via funding in Congress; I gotta think they’re quite pleased, by and large.
Of course those with presidential ambitions may be a bit more wary about filing for Purple Heart commendations…
That’s what I believe.
(But what do I know? I didn’t marry into vast wealth and thus don’t have a say in such matters.)
Speaking of patriotism, my question for Teresa:
When you first watched the movie ‘Zulu’, starring Stanley Baker, which side did you root for?
Their country. *Their* country.
Just what you want in a First Lady—someone who considers the US someone else’s county.
Slips of the lip to sink, let’s hope, Kerry’s ship.
Lemme get this straight.
Criticizing Kerry’s service in Vietnam 35 years ago is demoralizing to the troops in Iraq now, but Kerry criticizing his own service in Vietnam (the 1971 Congressional hearings, et. al.) 35 years ago wasn’t supposed to be demoralizing to the troops in Vietnam at that time?
I love the smell of hypocrisy in the morning.
I hate eggs, anyway. Blech.
I didn’t marry into vast wealth
Many, many others of us have made that same mistake, so don’t you feel so all alone.
