Hope starts in Texas [Darleen Click]
Prosecutor goes to jail Today in Texas, former prosecutor and judge Ken Anderson pled guilty to intentionally failing to disclose evidence in a case that sent an innocent man, Michael Morton, to prison for the murder of his wife. When trying the case as a prosecutor, Anderson possessed evidence that may have cleared Morton, including statements from the crime’s only eyewitness that Morton wasn’t the culprit. Morality is for suckers … [Darleen Click]
“The system is there and it’s available.” Remember, this 32 year old mom of three feels she is acting rationally.
Sorry, but it’s time to get rid of this arrogant relic, this timid droopnecked fossil
And this time I’m not even talking about Peggy Noonan herself. Just the subject of her column, Mitch McConnell. But I’m happy to revisit the former some time soon, as well. Or am I supposed to forget how she tried to sell us on the historic election of Obama?
“America’s top UN diplomat has high praise for ‘Hanoi Jane'”
Of course she does. I mean, Pol Pot? There’s a man who could “get things done”! And Samantha Power values a powerful, imperial Executive — and is unafraid to express her appreciation for those who fought for such a thing. Dissent being the highest form of patriotism, unless you happen to be one of those fucking teabaggers. It isn’t even hidden any longer: these people openly pine for Chinese-style authoritarian
“Obama is sorry Americans aren’t smart enough to grasp what he really meant”
Come now. Who didn’t expect a non-apology apology from the faculty-lounger-in-Chief for the spectacular early failure of his “signature legislation”? I mean, Christ, I’m still a bit shocked he didn’t blame white privilege, Bush, Big Pharma, or AIPAC, which controls both Big Banking and the media. Andrew Malcolm, IBD: Attempting to staunch the growing furor over his countless misrepresentations about Americans keeping their existing health plan under ObamaCare, the Democrat
“Father calls cops to teach son a lesson, cops shoot teen dead instead”
As the father of two boys, this may be one of the most heartbreaking stories I’ve ever read. Seriously. It’s totally fucked up my day and I haven’t even had a cup of coffee yet. There’s a simple take away here: never call in armed people who are ready to shoot your dog on sight to “teach a lesson” to your kids. Not that I blame the dad at all.
