When telling the truth becomes bullying…

…only bullies will get to determine what truth is and how it’s told. I’ve been warning people about this for years, this move toward a surreal authoritarian “tolerance” designed to keep us fearful and uninformed — even describing how it’s made to work, right down to the happy-sounding hermeneutic assumptions that allow it entry into our epistemology (we have “democratized” interpretation, freeing meaning from the tyranny of the author! Yay

Instead of “sincerely”, which, while fine, is a bit tepid, I’d have tried something with a dash more immediacy, like, say, “FOR CHRISSAKES, WAKE THE FUCK UP!” But then I’m told I have a very direct manner.
