Dancin' in the Streets [Dan Collins]

Matthias Kuntzel’s tremendous article in The Weekly Standard:

What ideas propelled Atta and the others to act? Witnesses provided part of the answer at the world’s first 9/11-related trial, the prosecution of al-Motassedeq, which took place in Hamburg between October 2002 and February 2003. One participant in the Koran circle meetings, Shahid Nickels, said Atta’s Weltanschauung was based on a “National Socialist way of thinking.” Atta was convinced that the Jews were striving for world domination and considered New York City the center of world Jewry, which was, in his opinion, Enemy No. 1. Fellow students who lived in Motassedeq’s dormitory testified that he shared these views and waxed enthusiastic about a forthcoming “big action.” One student quoted Motassedeq as saying, “The Jews will burn and in the end we will dance on their graves.”

Roll out the barrel.

Maybe instead of the “War on Terror” it should be called “Hitler’s Revenge”

How did he expect to dance on the graves of Jews AFTER he immolated himself in a jet crash? As we say down here in Texas, “There was something not right about that boy.”

Oh brave new world, to have such people in it!

The problem with these Brave New Worlds is that there are so many humans in it. Someone needs to do something about that. For the children.

National Socialism, communism, today’s left ‘progressive’ socialists, what do these failed empty visions all have in common?

At least one thing I can think of is hatred of the Jews and Israel. All the leftist cults above seem to be rooted in and acting out of, a deep anger. Someone must be to blame for all that’s wrong. There has to be a focus to direct all that anger at. Jewish people have always gotten to play that part.

From the similarities of view with Hitler of Atta et al, to the rampant anti-semitism in France and Britain to the American left’s willingness to abandon Israel. No surprise there.

What surprises me is in the face of this anti-semitism, why many Americans who are Jewish cling to the ever more left democrats despite their disdain for them and the democrats willingness to sacrifice Israel.
