First of all, on the rocks. You might take a first sip, but generally you want to give the ice some time to melt a bit. To me, Jameson tastes better when it’s a little diluted.
Second, probably the best of the inexpensive yet very good boozes. I like single-malts as well, but Jameson is still very good, and in my case, very easy on the body even when severely over-indulging, as I am wont to do on accasion. Like tonight. And it costs so much less.
Third, “Jaynestown” is one of the few Firefly episodes (if there are more I cannot think of them right now) in which Jayne ever appears to have the ability to be introspective. I just finished watching it. Hilarious and poignant(sp).
Still, “I’ll be in my bunk,” is probably the most well-known amongst the quotes attributed to Jayne.
I think I’ll watch one more. For the umpteenth time.
Take it for what it is.
By the way, the next episode of Firefly, in order, is “Out of Gas.” One of the best ones, IMO.

I just finished watching the entire set of episodes for Firefly. Man, did Fox screw that show up!
Jaynestown is hilarious. Out of Gas may be the best of the lot (although I have a special feeling for the one with the crazy bounty hunter.)
My favorite line? When Simon confronts Jayne about trying to sell him and Summer to the “2 guys with blue hands” Alliance representatives. As they leave, Summer sticks her head back in the room and says quietly, “and …I can kill you with my brain!”

I was well into the second paragraph before it occurred to me that this post didn’t concern Jenna Jameson. I didn’t finish.

Oh, the movie’s in a class by itself. But the one line I think I like best of the whole franchise is,
Mal: “Well, my days of not taking you seriously have sure reached a middle.”
There’s a few here—alpoid, heet, et al—who remind me of that line every time they touch fingertip to keyboard.

BTW: That bar fight scene with River was one of the best choreographed tussles ever. The actress is a trained dancer and learned all of the martial arts just for the film.
Mal: (on the intercom) “This is your Captain, Settle down somewhere as we may experience some turbulence followed by extensive burning up.”
Jayne: “But I don’t wanna burn up!”
Get the dialog right…
Mal: “This is the captain. We have a little problem with our entry sequence, so we may experience some slight turbulence and then… explode. “
Jayne: “We’re gonna explode? I dont want to explode!”
