Conservative Smoked Pot! [Dan Collins]

Holy shit!  Talk about the hypocrisy of the wingers!

Cameron ‘smoked drugs at school’

Conservative leader David Cameron took drugs while he was a pupil at Eton College, a new biography has claimed.

At least he doesn’t smoke those disgusting cigarettes, like Obama.

UNRELATED: 2 Italians stoned to death on Cape Verde

I guess one of them had sex with a local guy, so they killed her and another one for being, y’know, sluts.  I’m wagering the attackers were Muslims, but I suppose that’s probably because I’m a bigot.

Yea, but Obama, our next president, is trying to quit—it’s all about intentions, dontcha know?

  2. happyfeet says:

So we’re supposed to feel sorry for the stoned Italians yet condemn Cameron for the same thing? Europe is weird.

  3. Dan Collins says:

Mark, that’s pretty cold.  The Man turned him on to that shit.

  4. Jeffersonian says:

My 1999 Britannica Yearbook has the religious breakdown of Cape Verde being 96% Catholic and 4% Protestant and other.  It’s possible these men were Muslims, but the probability is against you.

  5. happyfeet says:

Cape Verde is where Cesaria Evora grew up. She’s a smoker too – partly explains the texture of her voice.

  6. Dan Collins says:

I’ll still bet against the probability.

  7. Boss429 says:

damn, found the bag, the papers, what the fuck did I do with the lighter, I know it’ll be in the last place I look

  8. alphie says:

    96% Catholic?

Odds are you’ve scored an own goal, Dan.

At least you didn’t headbutt anyone.

  9. Mark says:

what the fuck did I do with the lighter

What do you think stoves are for? Preferably gas over electric, but stay away from the microwave…

  10. Dan Collins says:

Tiresome, Alphie.  We could perhaps find out, if it were reportable.  Maybe we’ll get names.  Meanwhile, I think that Senegal has been exporting their madrassas there.  At least that’s what I’ve read.  So, we’ll see.

  11. Boss429 says:

Thanks for the suggestion Mark, Now I have one eyebrow….no, not a unibrow, just one, over the left eye, but wtf, I’m stoned!

  12. happyfeet says:

They dug a hole in the forest and then stoned some wanton Catholic girls. It’s definitely antisocial, if not specifically muslimesque. The weird thing is the hole was already dug. They didn’t take the girls into the woods to do whatever it is you do in the woods in Cape Verde and then kill the girls when they proved reluctant to play along. So we know radical islamists have made a point to attack tourist locales in the past. We know Cape Verde depends largely on tourism. Tourism and fish. We know from the UK that discussion among the evil-doers has shifted to small-scale soft-target actions. And we know our Cape Verde guys were not particularly concerned about the bodies being found because they were only half-buried.

  13. Mark, that’s pretty cold.  The Man turned him on to that shit.

Are you saying Obama is black?

    yours/

    peter.

TW: run57. Wait until you’re 57 to run, Senator. You know, after you’ve accomplished something to qualify you for office other than a .5 term in the Senate.

  14. Major John says:

    peter,

But he had a handful of years in our dreadful state legislature!  I hope they play his scoffing at the reporter in 2004 when asked about running for President, over and over…

  15. But he had a handful of years in our dreadful state legislature!

yeah, like Bush had experience? what does being governor of Texas qualify anyone for?

(yeah, I actually saw that argument made on tv yesterday)

  16. BoZ says:

This white guy, Obama–I’ve never read anything of his before.

The test of a qualified judicial nominee is also not whether that person has their own political views. Every jurist surely does. The test is whether he or she can effectively subordinate their views in order to …

    Not so articulate.

  17. Dan Collins says:

    maggie–

My neighbor’s brother is dying, so I’ve got two extra kittehs and a dog this week.  I figured somebody ought to get a laugh out of that.

  18. ooooh, do they get along at all, Dan?  I keep waiting for at least one of my kittehs to tolerate my puppy.  mostly, it’s just real entertaining when the 13 pound cat can keep the 40 pound dog away from her(the dog’s) food dish.

  19. Dan Collins says:

The three who are related, Arthur and her kittens, are all very laid back about the dog.  The other cat, Poppi, is a proper cat, and wants no truck with canines.  The neighbors cats are a bit freaked out, but the kittens are friendly to them, the mother cat is pleasant to them, and Poppi stays away, jealously guarding my bed, except when she needs to eat.

  20. TheManTheMyth says:

Obama smokes cigarettes?  Why hasn’t he been executed by the libs already, “for the children?” Is this another one of those damned affirmative action passes like the one that got him into Harvard?

  21. Janice Rogers Brown says:

Obama’s remarks on the nomination of Judge Janice Rogers Brown to the DC Circuit Court of Appeals: Not Black Enough

Hey, I’m blacker than that cracker!

  22. Clarence "Whitey" Thomas says:

    Sing it sister!

  23. Hubris says:

Actually, Obama said Brown should be judged on her positions, not her race:

I do not think that because Justice Brown is an African-American woman she has to adhere to a particular political orthodoxy, something that has been suggested by the other side of the aisle. Just as it would be cynical and offensive that Justice Brown be vilified simply for being a Black conservative, it is equally offensive and cynical to suggest that somehow she should get a pass for her outlandish views simply because she is a Black woman.

I hope we have arrived at a point in our country’s history where Black folks can be criticized for holding views that are out of the mainstream, just as Whites are criticized when they hold views that are out of the mainstream. I hope we have come to the point where a woman can be criticized for being insensitive to the rights of women, just as men are criticized when they are insensitive to the rights of women.

Other than that, I suppose your characterization is absolutely accurate.

  24. Pablo says:

I hope we have arrived at a point in our country’s history where Black folks can be criticized for holding views that are out of the mainstream, just as Whites are criticized when they hold views that are out of the mainstream.

You see, that’s “views outside of the Black mainstream”, Hubris.

    JRB’s views are mainstream conservatism.

“It looks increasingly like this was a crime of

    passion.”

  26. FabioC. says:

the story I could find says that the double murder in Capoverde was a “normal” passional murder, and the hole had been dug by water erosion. Here for those proficient in Italian.

  27. wfm says:

So it could be bigotry after all. Good bet, when “catholic” girls get killed in an overwhelmingly catholic country.

  28. Dan Collins says:

I suppose it could be.  I didn’t realize that they’d been killed because one of the girls broke up with one of the guys.

  29. TheManTheMyth says:

I hope we’ve arrived at a time where affirmative action baby empty-suits can be critized for, well, being affirmative action baby empty suits.
