Well, well, well. It seems that the accuser in the Duke rape case has given birth. The party at the center of the controversy happened almost to the day nine months ago. A defense attorney tells the local CBS station that when the accuser was taken to the hospital after the party, tests showed the woman was not pregnant and she was given a contraceptive commonly known as the “morning after” pill. There had been no prior indication the woman, a 28-year-old college student who already has children, was pregnant. She has not spoken in public since granting a single interview to the News & Observer of Raleigh shortly after the party.
So, let’s review. She accuses three men at the party of rape. She points out two people in the lineup cards who weren’t even at the party. The lineup is composed of only pictures of members of the lacrosse team. At least one of the accused men has an airtight alibi backed up by digital records. In the medical exam the night of the party, she is found not to be pregnant, and is given the morning-after pill. Oh, and DNA from five different men, none of them on the lacrosse team, is found on or in her body. She is observed by a police officer shortly after the party acting disoriented and incoherent, which she claims is due to being severely traumatized by being gang-raped. In fact, she was so traumatized that she was videotaped the next weekend pole-dancing at her regular job. And apparently had no problem having sex shortly after the traumatic incident.
My favorite line in the story: The person who confirmed the pregnancy to the AP had no information about the father.
Something tells me she doesn’t, either.
Update: The drive-by media screws it up again: Turns out she was in the hospital last night, but didn’t give birth. She’s not due until February. I guess I should have done the math.

It’s becoming more and more apparent that the only scumbags in this case are the alleged “victim” and Nifong.
Nifong has a holiday hope that the alleged victim has given birth to … a case.
Wow, a bogus rape charge. Oh, but I must be a chauvenist to believe that.
Not just a false accusation but prosecutorial misconduct. Where are all the lefties yearning to rise up against the Man for such blatant misuse of power.
Their feminists won’t let them.
I swear I can hear a chicken clucking.
