The parents of a woman who committed suicide shortly after a grilling by Nancy Grace today filed a lawsuit against the TV host, claiming that their daughter was driven to her death by the hard-charging former prosecutor.
In a related story, the parents of Grace’s late CNN-assigned makeup artist Carson Kressley have also filed a wrongful death suit against the network’s legal correspondent. In an interview with the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, his life partner, who is known only by his internet commenter handle “monkyboy,” said that Kressley, 39, had been in despair lately. “He tried and tried, but he could never seem to make her look like anything but a bitter, dried-up old shrew. He was going through hundreds of dollars worth of Prescriptives mascara a week. Some days when he got home, he would just collapse into a chair, bury his face in his hands, and cry his eyes out. He was proud of his reputation as one of the top makeup artists in the business, and I guess he just couldn’t take failing so publicly anymore.”
The publicity from the suit will probably bring the most attention to Kressley since his fifteen minutes of fame as part of the “Fab Five” on the TLC show “Queer Eye for the Straight Guy,” which long ago jumped the shark and disappeared into the ether of TV obscurity.

Open memo to guest bloggers, and nothing personal against anyone:
I’d just as soon not read posts making mock of the liberal commentators. Let ‘em stay on the undercard, down in the comments, but…I dunno. I just don’t like seeing a whole post on such a bigtime blog devoted to swatting flies. I gladly tolerate the presence of lefty trolls–price of an open forum and all–but I don’t see a need to give them marqee billing.
Funny post otherwise, CraigC.
I’m not sure that qualifies as marquee billing. It was a throwaway, something I picked out of thin air. And you’re doing what the trolls do, taking something irrelevant out of a whole post to complain about.
We all have to admit—and have, many times—us guest posters are all the undercard. The only marquee posts are those signed by el Jefe.
I agree with TSI. It’s giving him too much attention.
McGehee, you’re playing semantics.
I think it was one of the funniest threads to participate in that this blog has seen in a while. Hell, monky is more fun than Thirsty and Dr. Demento combined. I only regret that there wasn’t a blog war involved.
On topic, Grace isn’t responsible for Duckett’s guilty conscience. She knew where that kid is, and Grace picked up on it and homed in.
Sorry, dumbass clan, that’s an own goal. The family should be more concerned with getting the kid back.
You don’t speak humor, do you?
The official language here is ENGLISH, dammit, and don’t you forget it!
¿Qué?
Mom! Dad! Please don’t quarrel—you’re ruining my birthday party!
I piss on Nancy Disgrace.
Hey, Back Off! That nice lady is putting my kids through college.
Hmmm.
Let’s face facts. If there’s any tv commentator deserving of mockery it’s Nancy Grace.
