   Is it possible we’re being ignored? I somewhat doubt it.

   Clearly, they think we’re crap because we’ve depthcharged their entire subaqueous house of waterproof cards.  Otherwise, how could they possibly ignore us so assiduously?

   – Dan – This sort of link snobishness seems to come and go over time, partly I think because there’s a sort of unspoken cherlishness about the high brow nature of some of Jeff’s wordcraft tome’s, of a decidedly “thinking” nature, coupled with the fact that Jeff, and some of us posters, make no secret that we’re “classic Liberals”/Liberal independents. We also take no prisoners when it comes to bone raw irreverance, tending to be equal opportunity blasphemers. I think that makes certain party’s uneasy, especially when they see terms of endearment like “bible-belt chrome bumper thumpers”, or “gunrack flyover swamp lurkers”, woven into some of our posts. It’s not Overt, more Covert, but it’s not really new. That, and the fact that Jeff doesn’t tend to jump on every whacko Conservative “blogger coalition” that comes down the pike. All of the above.
