I gripe, only because I can…
I actually do wish this were a great deal more purple – at the very least, skipping the Marines is counter to the basic thesis of “Boots on the Ground” – expanded GWOT roles, notwithstanding.
But I think the more significant message – that our military is comprised of some of the finest young men and women we could every have the honor of being defended by – deserves significant focus in it’s own right.
Personally, I don’t have a gripe with the Army promoting the Army, but if this were a bit broader in focus, there are a couple of other applications that this would have been ideally suited for.
