Fascinating program on NPR’s ”Studio 360” on the sense of scents. My wife favors Herrera 212. What are some of your thoughts about odors and perfumes?
Is there such a thing as a conservative aesthetic? Programs like this remind me of how far conservative media still has to go.
I’m a big fan of beers. Pilsner Urquell, for example, is quintessentially what a pilsner should be, and has as much complexity as a good cabernet. I love smoked porters and stouts. Anything robust enough to be imbibed warm if need be. I love a good single malt now and again.
What are you aesthetically passionate about?

Hey, what is this? Are you going to start asking us what kind of tree we would be?

I visited Prague a couple years ago and fell in love with Pilsner Urquell. It was only served from tap and great care was taken in its draught. I was really disappointed to taste it from the bottle back here in the US.
I recently moved to North Texas and I’ve found it on tap in several places. Woohoo!
Then again, here in Texas they have Shiner Bock. Mmmm.
Newcastle brown ale is the bomb.
Oh, and the smell of napalm in the morning…

However, White Diamonds do make me horny.
