“Lieberman campaign says Web site hacked”

But you know how Jews are—always trying to guilt you into giving them sympathy. Or a good deal on a used Lincoln Towncar.

So I wouldn’t put much stock in this. If anything, they probably did it themselves. They’re sneaky like that. And of course, filthy.

(thanks to natesnake)

  1. Johnny Catbird says:

Well, it serves Leiberman right. I mean, I saw the photo-op he had with Clinton, and let me just say that there is never a good time to be made up in blackface.

  2. shank says:

Wait a minute. So the JOOOS control Hollywood and the intarweb?

  3. Jon says:

It is clear now that Lamont is a Rovian plant, right… I mean all the election day du jour that are normal democrat talking points are coming from Lieberman’s camp, while Lamont smugly counts the votes he’s fabricated…

  4. natesnake says:

Kos could not be reached for comment.

  6. Defense Guy says:

Oh, I don’t know, whenever I see Joe on tv he appears clean and well kept.

For a sneaky Jew I mean.

  7. Like I mentioned in an earlier thread, doesn’t this put the DoS attacks against Jeff in a different light?

  8. Brian says:

I’m not a computer expert, but it might simply be the result of increased traffic that they hadn’t planned for. Has a reporter had the smarts to ask that of the campaign?

On the bright side, it would be nice to have all legal fingers point back to Ms. Hamsher’s goons.

  9. PMain says:

Well, I for one question the timing. We all know it couldn’t be Lamouth’s camp because he doesn’t even know what a blog is, much less anyone Internet savvy enough to blog or cause a DoS. Personally I believe it is the result of Lieberman’s hardline, pro-war mongering stand that has forced the normally peaceful loving, morally superior, anti-war crowd to respond to his antics of oppression. After all, dissent is the highest form of patriotism & nothing is more dissentesque then to silence an opponent & prevent his message from getting out to the voting public.

Funny if a Democrat’s web-site had been hacked during a campaign against a Republican, I wonder how the media would react then?

Like I mentioned in an earlier thread, doesn’t this put the DoS attacks against Jeff in a different light?

Where’s that damn Town House List when you need it?

T/W DoS attacks usually require some level of planning.

  11. ahem says:

I like the gesture with the hand in the Yahoo photo. Weak. You think they don’t like him?

Of course, myDD thinks it’s all bullshit.

  12. topsecretk9 says:

Of course, myDD thinks it’s all bullshit.

Yeah, and if Lamont’s blog was DOS attacked on Primary eve MyDD, Hamsher and Kos wouldn’t suspect anything or make wild accusations about the dirty trickster LeiberYouth hackers. Nope.

  13. topsecretk9 says:

    For the tech geeks

Campaign spokeswoman Marion Steinfels described the effort to topple the Web site as “denial of service.” She then suggested a virus had been placed on the Web host’s computer through what’s called a “SQL injection” technique. Hackers who want to sneak code onto a Web host computer can sometimes construct long strings of characters — thousands of characters long — and paste them into Web forms designed to accept entries for name, address, and the like. On some occasions, these text strings will trick the computers into accepting rogue code. A virus could be placed on a Web host that way.

Such an attack could be carried out by a single individual, and would not require a coordinated effort. A denial of service attack, which involves multiple computers overwhelming a Web site with traffic, could also be conducted by a single individual. An attacker could topple the site with either one of these techniques, or a combination of them.

The attack began Monday morning, the campaign office said, and the site went down for good Monday evening.

Suggestions that the site had gone out of service because the campaign had failed to pay its bill were incorrect, Steinfels said.

The site was designed by Geary Interactive, based in Las Vegas, Steinfels said. Efforts to reach company president Dan Geary weren’t immediately successful.

Electronic traces of the site point to a Texas-based company named ThePlanet.com. Operators there refused phone calls from reporters.

  14. Joe Lieberman is quickly becoming the Vice President from the movie “Dave.” Just a nice guy that wants to serve the public good who is wrongly attacked and brutalized by corrupt, bastard politicians.

I just feel bad for him these days.

  15. commander0 says:

Isn’t it obvious that Lieberman has allowed Lamont to keep his Hamsher Army so that he could claim victimhood? Isn’t it? BECAUSE OF T3H HAKKKORZ. Ever notice that the first 3 letters of his name are LIE? Jane did. I think. Or maybe not.

  16. natesnake says:

Kos took it upon himself to deny involvement. Thank God.

Unfortunately, he didn’t feel it necessary to denounce the “hack.” He chose a different tact. The Lieberman camp is “incompetent”.

  17. Pablo says:

markos, dipshit that he is, claims Joe didn’t pay his $7. hosting bill, and that a DoS attack couldn’t last for 18 hours. This turd got his notability for being a tech wiz? Oy.

I see the hand of Karl Rove in this.

Thankfully, Lieberman has the Joementum and teh funny!

    tw: What would you expect?

  18. Meg Q says:

Hasn’t it been obvious from the beginning that Lamont was a Rove plant? It’s totally messed up the Netroots, while Joe hasn’t really looked that perturbed for a guy running for his political life.

Not that Joe “and my lovely wife, Hadassah” Lieberman ever looks truly perturbed, now that I think of it . . .

. . . so obviously that’s the hand of Rove!!! Rove and the Jooooooos! It’s so obvious now!

Think I’m gonna go have a nice midday G&T.

TW: high. Okay, okay, you don’t have to hint, Jeff.

  19. Meg Q says:

Current TW: close. Quit tweaking, Jeff!

  20. sir ss says:

No doubt, as Kos notes, he just failed to pay his bills, tight money-grubber that he is, and then sought to use that to gain sympathy from voters. Typcial.

“Filthy” is right. Joe can’t even pass Kos’s smell test.

  21. Jim in KC says:

WTF kind of name is Ned, anyway? Is that short for Nedbert? Enquiring minds want to know.

Regardless, if it was a sql injection attack, somebody at the hosting company should be slapped for leaving that vulnerability unpatched. Or someone who forgot to length-check form contents. Or both.

  22. ss says:

Also, isn’t it scandalous that Kos would use the phrase “smell test” when talking about a Jew? Isn’t that pretty much a phrase to be avoided in this context? Because of what it means.

  23. noah says:

Joe Lieberman looks and talks like a reasonable guy. But he votes for the most part with the Democrat caucus…good politics for him (at least it used to be) but lousy for the country. I couldn’t care less if he loses.

  24. Tman says:

This thread reminds me of the European anti-semite joke I read last week in the WSJ by Brett Stephens “How Do You Spot An Anti-Semite? Ask About Israel”

An old joke tells the story of an elderly traveler at the Vienna train station asking passersby whether they hate Jews. After a score of indignant “No’s,” one fellow finally admits that, why yes, he does hate them. “Thank goodness for an honest man!” exclaims the traveler. “Would you mind looking after my bags while I run to the men’s room?”

Needless to say, I wouldn’t trust most folks on the left to watch my bags, if you know what I’m sayin’..

  25. mojo says:

    SQL injection, huh?

That’s at least a 2 year old patch, boys.

    Hosted? oh yeah…

  26. Lew Clark says:

Not only that, but Jooooooooos are short and dark. Lieberman is neither. I think he’s the Rove plant!

  27. Phil Smith says:

Of course, myDD thinks it’s all bullshit.

Why, cause their astro-charts told them to think that?

  28. topsecretk9 says:

WTF kind of name is Ned, anyway? Is that short for Nedbert? Enquiring minds want to know.

You know that is actually a good question, what is Ned short for?

Neodore? Or is Ned just a one syllable name like Scott? Anyone know?

  29. The Ghost of Abu Musab Al Zarqawi says:

Kos has a point. We all know how Jews are about money. It’s right there in the Protocols of the Elders of Zion.

  30. Dave S. says:

    Don’t you mean – JUICE!

  31. sir ss says:

    I think “Ned” is a nickname for Edward. Like a John/Jack, James/Jim, Robert/Bob, Richard/Dick kinda thing.

  32. ahem says:

I just hate to see Kos and his hard-left retards gain anything from their unscrupulous bullshit. I’m completely convinced they’re incipient fascists.

  33. Meg Q says:

“Ned” is from Edward. Like “Teddy” (e.g., Edward Moore Kennedy), which however can also come from Theodore (e.g., Roosevelt).

However, you have to inherit at least $20mil (2006 dollars) in (liquid) assets (or relative amt in non-liquid assets) to go by “Ned”. It ain’t straight outta Compton, hear what I’m sayin?

TW: money. Okay, Jeff, this thing isn’t funny anymore!

  34. oseaghdha says:

    Apparently, Ned is chinese.

    TW: What’s yer point?

  35. ahem says:

Okay, so now Kos is saying that Lieberman’s bandwidth is overtaxed.

  36. Jim in KC says:

“Ned” is from Edward. Like “Teddy” (e.g., Edward Moore Kennedy), which however can also come from Theodore (e.g., Roosevelt).

Be that as it may, who in his right mind would actually, you know, call himself Ned? I mean, not merely to make fun of his name–I’m sure his political views are completely insane if he’s being backed by the Kos Kidz–but really. Ned? It’s just wrong, somehow.

  37. Jim in KC says:

Okay, so now Kos is saying that Lieberman’s bandwidth is overtaxed.

That may be the first time I’ve ever heard of a “progressive” refer to anything as overtaxed.

  38. Lew Clark says:

The only “Ned” I ever knew was named Ned. It wasn’t short for anything. But he was poor like the rest of us, so it probably doesn’t count.

  39. topsecretk9 says:

    AH Edward! Right.

Regardless of what’s the up with Joe’s website, KOS has demonstrated a total lack of acumen and dealt with it really stupid. Does it make you wonder why Kos feels the need to be feverishly proffering accusations and posting with updates?

They’ve had since yesterday to issue a statement – and had they been smart about it – this would have been a non-issue.

  40. mezzrow says:

    Well, he’s no Ned Flanders.

  41. Meg Q says:

    Ned? It’s just wrong, somehow.

Hey diddly doo, neighbor, that’s your opinion! wink

TW: That’s my theory and I’m sticking to it!

  42. PMain says:

Funny thing is that Yahoo! news has Lieberman under Democrat candidates but has a (i) after his name. Nothing like supporting a proven candidate that your party placed as a Vice Presidential candidate just 2 election cycles ago. I guess according to CT. Democrats it would have been a mistake after all. Here’s the link:

    target=”_blank”>http://www3.capwiz.com/y/e4/clist/race/?raceid=1395&district=&state=CT</a>

  43. Meg Q says:

Pshaw. Did it really take us this long to get around to Flanders references with a guy named “Ned” in our clutches?

Well, maybe that’s a good thing.

TW: Shows some sense. Not watching so much TV (or Simpsons DVDs) these days

  44. PMain says:

Sorry that should read Yahoo! links to & I can’t seem to make the link look all pretty like others here, what exactly do I need to do to link something nice-like?

  45. PMain says:

Okay retarded warning, the (i) I referenced is actually showing he is the incumbent & that I am functionally retarded… apologies all around.

  46. oseaghdha says:

    PMain

Copy the address, type something like,” Go read this you dumb FUCK!”

Hilite the Go read this… and hit the “http://” button.

A box will open up and you paste the web address.

    Voila.

  47. Meg Q says:

BTW, y’know who Joe “are you fully insured?” Lieberman always reminds me of?

    This guy:

    http://static.flickr.com/95/210466358_563bad5ce8_m.jpg

Just a resemblance thing. I’m not, you know, insinuating anything.

    ( <subliminal msg>EVIL JOOOOOOS!!!!</subliminal msg> )

    TW: I felt a disturbance in the Force . . . no, sorry, that was just a DoS attack . . .

  48. PMain says:

    oseaghdha,

    Thanx for that

  49. SteveG says:

Is it coincidence that “Joos” means “Joe” in Dutch?

    I for one think not.

I condemn the sneaky bastard for pretending to be Dutch in order to confuse me about his jewness.. plus he appears to be part negro and that is an even huger surprise.

tw: I can’t *stand* sneaky black jew chickenhawk Israel loving…

  50. gahrie says:

Am I the only one that has noticed that Kos, Greenwald, Atrios and Hamsher never seem to suffer DOS attacks?

  51. Emily Litella says:

Why is everybody so afraid of dirty juice, it probably just has a little pulp in it. It is okay to drink like that, or you could just strain it if it really bothers you. The juice really isn’t dirty you see.. what?

    what?

    Ohh… nevermind.

  52. Rob Crawford says:

Does it make you wonder why Kos feels the need to be feverishly proffering accusations and posting with updates?

Perhaps because the guilty flee when no man pursueth?

    Just sayin’, is all.

    TW: thinking. Scary.

  53. ahem says:

Now, that would be poetic, wouldn’t it? Kos and Jane being DOS’d anonymously. I’m not encouraging this kind of behavior, mind you. I’m just day-dreaming. Like Rick Moran is day-dreaming that Lieberman wins tonight. The only problem is that the folks on the right don’t go in for juvenile pranks, which is really a shame. no, you have to be a student at the Uof A to pull that kind of stupid stunt. Or a Progressive. O well.

    Well, with 4% in, it’s 60%-40% Lamont.

  54. marcus says:

I noticed McKinney is getting shellacked.

  55. Meg Q says:

Hey, maybe that’s just New Haven or Hartford coming in so far . . .

  56. ahem says:

Sweet. McKinney can go down in a ball of flames. Is she really the kind of public servant Georgians deserve? No.

It’s still trending down for Lieberman. It makes me feel bad because, unlike McKinney, he’s an honorable public servant. I don’t necessarily agree with him, but he represents the Democrats well. He has a lot more class and statemanship than most of them. I think even someone like Hillary realizes that.

  57. Pablo says:

Ah, but Joe will still be a Senator next year, while Cindy will be nothing more than a punchline.

  58. marcus says:

Unless something changes dramatically, looks like Joe will be running as an independent.

  59. ahem says:

Pablo: One can only hope. If Lamont beats Lieberman by too great a margin, we’re stuck with a hard-Left win and all its needless consequences.

  60. Big Bang Hunter says:

    – Congratulations to the moonbat left. From the early returns in Conn. it looks like they’ve finally found someone they can beat. One of their own guys!!!!

    BWAHAHAHAAAAAAAAHAAAA

TW: It’s in the can. Until the fall when Joe will beat their brains in as an Independent.

  61. ahem says:

Don’t count on the Independent run. It’s down to about 10 points right now (at the 33% mark), but that could change.

In my heart of hearts, I think the mainstream Dems are shitting in their pants. The worst I’ve ever thought them to be is cynical amnd manipulative, not absolutely, positvely stupid. We’re circling Stupidsville now.

  62. Big Man says:

Ned? Ned Ryerson? Come on buddy, Case-Western High, Needlenose Ned, Ned the Head . . .

  63. ahem says:

That’s it. It’s over. Another cocktail, please.

    tw: party. I’m not kidding.

  64. marcus says:

    Not to worry, ahem.

I think lots of Republicans will turn out to vote for Joe in November. After all, they know their candidate, er, um…whatshisname…is a lost cause, anyway.

  65. ahem says:

    I hope so.

  66. Pablo says:

ahem, what we’ll be stuck with is evidence that the Democrat party is an absolute mess in which staunch, lifelong Dems like Joe get kicked to the curb for the likes of Ned and his screeching minions.

    Also, what marcus said. smile

  67. B Moe says:

Is anybody else able to get on LiarDogFake? Is it possible the Empire is fighting back? Or did one of the Hamsters poodles just piss on the modem?

  68. David Ross says:

Pablo: “Ah, but Joe will still be a Senator next year, while Cindy will be nothing more than a punchline.”

That is, until Cindy’s replacement du jour gets a swelled head, runs for even higher office, gets trounced and leaves the seat open again.

Oh well. See you in 2012!

(And yeah, now that Moulitsas and Hamsher have proven themselves as kingbreakers, I’m now getting cold sweats thinking of them as kingmakers…)

  69. Big Bang Hunter says:

    – I got in and posted this:

    – Congratulations to the hardhead left. you finally found someone you could beat in a meaningless primary. One of your own guys. *snort*

    – Break out the champagne, pay no attention to the 700 pound Gorilla behind the curtin, and we’ll see you in the “fall”. (Litterily)

    – Doubt it will be there very long….

  70. Big Man says:

All this is connected. I just looked and the opening dialog bozes to my Adobe Photoshop CS. There are at least THREE Jewish surnames in the list of developers.

So, if, and I say IF any of the Hezbo photos have been photoshopped it is a Jewish consiracy because the Jews had significant development of that software package.

The eyedropper isa clear reference that Jewish mother in laws want their sons to be opticians.

So, how can a Muslims not resist the perils of Photoshop to doctor Fauxtographs. The Joooooos made them all do it.

  71. erin says:

So I wouldn’t put much stock in this. If anything, they probably did it themselves. They’re sneaky like that. And of course, filthy.

The lieberman campaign told us how good jews act.
