Please tune in today to “Hoist the Black Flag” on Rightalk. The show begins at 4:05 pm EST, 1:05 pacific.
Today’s guests are, uh, well…your phonecalls, maybe? And Ace mentioned something about a short appearance by Bizzyblog. And Robert from Olbermann Watch.
Oh. And sadly, I STILL don’t have the broadcast equipment, so I’ll be doing the show from a cordless telephone. Again. Which explains my tinny, nasally voice. And of course my love for Needlessly Endangering the Children™
Anyway please call in with any questions: 866-884-TALK (8255). And spread the word!
Today’s topics: Who knows?—though it’s unlikely we’ll skip over Ace’s posts on political identity formation. Plus gay marriage is always a playful little topic, especially if it’s worn with a pair of Italian open-toed sandals and a pressed madras shirt.
Also, thanks to some Rewards Zone points and a big sale, I’ve just completed my “X-Files” DVD set by picking up the final season, which means that never again will I be taken in by some progressive conspiracy theory without having some sort of televised analogue available to me to help work through the logic.

update: If you miss the show live, you can catch it at 5 after the hour every hour for the next 23 hours after the live broadcast. Just go to Rightalk and click on the show’s icon. You can also download it in podcast format.
Wow… calling Andrew Sullivan a “schoolgirl” at the very end of your little radio show was a classy way to begin that rational policy debate you’re pining after. Nice one. At least no one called him a faggoty schoolgirl.
I didn’t call him a schoolgirl.
Peter – Even if Jeff did call Sully a schoolgirl it wouldn’t offend me, and I don’t think he’s homophobic, but I think people could interpret it as a gay slur, so that would make it offensive.
Right?
BECAUSE I WANT TO BE OFFENDED!!!
No mention of today’s anniversary?
See above
Wow… falsely accusing Jeff of calling Sully a “schoolgirl” was a classy way to highlight his hypocrisy. Except for that whole, “it isn’t true,” business which, frankly, truth is way overrated. Wouldn’t you agree, Peter?
McGehee  Ah, but you don’t understand the power of the accusation! Now leftoids can write, “Goldstein, who has been accused of gay-baiting….”
Gay baiting is wrong. You should have to stalk ‘em like you do grizzly bears.
