Ironic Picture of the day:
Yes, I’m sure Mohammod Youssuf Abdulazeez saw that yellow sign near the door declaring “no firearms allowed”. He just used that information for an entirely different purpose.
Counterterrorism investigators are looking closely at a monthslong trip the Chattanooga shooting suspect took to Jordan in 2014 to determine if he had contact with any extremists or traveled to other countries, according to people familiar with the investigation.
Mohammod Youssuf Abdulazeez, 24 years old, spent about seven months in Jordan last year, according to one person close to the investigation. The visit was one of a number of trips he took to that country during his life. He also held Jordanian citizenship, officials said.
Mr. Abdulazeez died Thursday in a gunfight with police, after allegedly firing a rifle at two military facilities in Chattanooga, Tenn. Four Marines were killed in the attacks.
Law-enforcement and intelligence agencies are now trying to determine if he made connections, or drew inspiration, on that trip to later commit an act of violence once he returned to the U.S., these people said.
The Federal Bureau of Investigation has been tracking hundreds of suspected supporters of the terror group Islamic State, but Mr. Abdulazeez wasn’t on their radar as a potential threat, according to people familiar with the probe. […]
Thursday’s first shooting began at about 10:50 a.m. when a gunman drove up and fired 25 to 30 rounds at a military recruitment center in a strip mall east of downtown Chattanooga, where one Marine was wounded, Pentagon officials said.
The shooter then apparently drove 7 miles to a Navy Operations Support Center, ramming his car through a security gate, officials said. He opened fire around 11:30 a.m., killing four Marines and injuring a police officer and sailor, authorities said.
The Obama administration will not be able to bury this one as “workplace violence” as they did for Nidal Malik Hasan.
There is no reason military personnel should be stripped of the means of self-defense when they are specifically targeted and threatened by Islamist terrorists.
But I am talking about the Obama administration here, one that is eager to turn over the Middle East to Iran in its quest to diminish American presence on the world stage.

If they can’t, they’ll make sure some ‘Squirrel!!!’ comes along soon enough to distract us.
Isn’t mass Turd World immigration and multiculturalism grand???
I used to think that we were luckier than the Euros, because whatever our immigration problems, our imported Mexican and Latin American Catholics were not going to do what the imported Arab and North African Muslims are doing to Europe.
But this Obamunist Ohministration took care of that! We went and got some of those people too!
George Bush, Bill Clinton, and Bush I deserve blame as well.
Thank You, O Grand & Glorious Establishment!

oh, so you mean all those US “advisers” held hostage under the watchful gaze of the IRGC-Quds Forces and Shia allied militias in Iraq ought to be concerned for their safety? It’s a bit late at this point.
The Obamunist, however, in his Islam apologizing and Turd World Anti-American background, goes a great measure *beyond* those former presidents’ Establishmentian desire to Hispander and to import a Latin American lumpenproletariat into the USA.
And after all, the Latinos are NOT muslim.
Those past Presidents allowed a steady flow of Muslims into this country, especially Bush II.
The most ironic part of this whole affair is that the shooter never actually violated the “gun-free zone” rules, since he shot from outside the area covered. It was the armed forces that had to surrender their weapons, because they were presumably in danger of hurting someone with the weapons they had been trained to carry.
Isn’t it nice that our military doesn’t have the protections of the Bill of Rights? There has not been a single one of those first Ten Amendments that has not been either utterly ignored, or distorted completely out of rational meaning.

October 28, 2014: *** “The good thing about Netanyahu is that he’s scared to launch wars,” the official said, expanding the definition of what a chickenshit Israeli prime minister looks like. “The bad thing about him is that he won’t do anything to reach an accommodation with the Palestinians or with the Sunni Arab states. The only thing he’s interested in is protecting himself from political defeat. He’s not [Yitzhak] Rabin, he’s not [Ariel] Sharon, he’s certainly no [Menachem] Begin. He’s got no guts.”
I ran this notion by another senior official who deals with the Israel file regularly. This official agreed that Netanyahu is a “chickenshit” on matters related to the comatose peace process, but added that he’s also a “coward” on the issue of Iran’s nuclear threat. The official said the Obama administration no longer believes that Netanyahu would launch a preemptive strike on Iran’s nuclear facilities in order to keep the regime in Tehran from building an atomic arsenal. “It’s too late for him to do anything. Two, three years ago, this was a possibility. But ultimately he couldn’t bring himself to pull the trigger. It was a combination of our pressure and his own unwillingness to do anything dramatic. Now it’s too late.” ***
Now it’s too late.
JeffG tweeted a link to Jon Karl challenging the ClownDisaster’s White House’s characterization of the support for the Iran Deal: WFB — “Jonathan Karl Challenges White House’s Claim of ’99 Percent’ World Community Support on Iran Nuclear Deal”
Do 99 % of the people of the United States support the deal? How are those who don’t simply written off as “supporters”?
What of those other people amidst the negotiating “partners”, Germans, Frenchmen, Brits, Russians, Chinese who likewise do not support the deal despite their government’s agreement to this deal made to appear as 99% of the world?
How are these people made to disappear? The same way you are made to disappear. Your voice, your opinion, simply doesn’t count. This is, by the way, the very definition of tyranny. And now it is celebrated openly in the United States.
Recruiting the left.
Soon for the SJWs the “J” will be for Jihad.
Nothing to see in France either.

Does anyone happen to remember what becomes of tyrants?

[…] From The New York Times, Davis Sanger and Michael Gordon reporting, we learn [I won’t link the bastards][tip of the fedora to Matthew Continetti via Sdferr]: […]
If I was president for a day, I would decree military recruits go through concealed carry training as part of basic, and active duty personnel can carry whenever they want, same as if they were FBI. And with an honorable discharge, they are given ‘shall issue’ status even if living in a ‘may issue’ state.
It just makes sense…
Somehow or other no-one in the ClownCatastrophe administration has managed to figure out that there are no lone wolves in the Ummah, and yet the ClownCatastrophes just know that their own grasp of Islam is preeminent over every other conception of it.
