It is with much sadness and disbelief…

…that I inform you all of the passing of Jonathan Webb, a long-time pw supporter and one of the kindest, most encouraging people I’ve met in my online endeavors. He was 62.

And no, he didn’t lose his battle with cancer. It took him. Because it sucks and it doesn’t fight fair. So I’m not going to dignify it by suggesting it is some good faith actor in a gentleman’s duel. It just is. And I wish it weren’t.

You two were brofriends. Different, but passionate and brilliant in all you are and were. You’re absolutely correct …. this sucks.

God bless JWebb and everyone that misses him tonight. He was part of a very special group of people that love each other but have never met in person. The Interweb is like that, I guess.

Rest in peace, friend, and I’ll see you one of these days.

    God speed Mr. Webb!

Fair winds, Mr. Webb. I look forward to finally meeting you one day, though I’d prefer it not be right away.

  10. MC says:

Rest In Peace JWebb. I’ll miss you every day.

  11. Pablo says:

    Damn. I hate cancer.
