White feminist professor defends the criminal actions of black associate by blaming ‘slavery’ [Darleen Click]

Remember Mireille Miller-Young? She is the melanin-enriched UC Santa Barbara associate professor who feels pro-life demonstrators are really “terrorists” and deserve to be assaulted.

The feminist studies professor who specializes in queer theory and pornography said she felt the protesters had no right to be on the UC Santa Barbara campus “because the poster was upsetting to her and other students.”

The demonstrators, Thrin Short, 16, and her 21-year-old sister, Joan, were standing in a designated “free speech zone” on the campus. They are members of a Riverside, Calif.-based pro-life group called Survivors of the Abortion Holocaust.

“Miller-Young said that she and others began demanding that the images be taken down,” the police report relates. “Miller-Young said that the demonstrators refused. At which point, Miller-Young said that she ‘just grabbed it [the sign] from this girl’s hands.”

“Asked if there had been a struggle, Miller-Young stated, ‘I’m stronger so I was able to take the poster.’”

Miller-Young pleaded “no contest” to the charges and her sentencing is today. Among the support letters submitted to the court (because, as we all know, Leftists can’t help themselves when “triggered” and are the real victims) is one from melanin-challenged US Santa Barbara Professor Eileen Boris in a classic act of Leftist noblesse oblige:

Support letters submitted by defense attorney Catherine Swysen and obtained by the News-Press laud the respect and admiration Ms. Miller-Young has among her peers as well as her generosity when it comes to students.

Some of the letters were written on UCSB letterhead, presumably on university equipment and university time. […]

Another letter of support, also on UCSB letterhead, comes from Eileen Boris, a professor in the Department of Feminist Studies.

Prof. Boris seeks clemency for her colleague, stating, “she was at the stage of a pregnancy when one is not fully one’s self fully, so the image of a severed fetus appeared threatening.”

If she appears smiling on camera,” Prof. Boris continues, “she is ‘wearing the mask,’ that is, she is hiding her actual state through a strategy of self-presentation that is a cultural legacy of slavery.”

Please don’t hold Miller-Young responsible for her behavior, you know how those darkies really are. We must make allowances.

Note: Miller-Young’s annual salary is $77,000 and Boris’ is $191,000. So “social justice” my ass.

. . . when one is not fully one’s self fully . . . –Eileen Boris, a professor in the Department of Feminist Studies, 2014.

Evidently, English composition was not a requirement for her degrees in Feminist Studies evidently.

Didn’t Samuel Colt have something to say about that sort of thing?

I’m so glad I crossed UCSB off my list after I interviewed with them back in the dark ages.

Beautiful campus. IIRC, back in the dark ages it had a rep for co-ed murder.

I just wish that all cases of assault and robbery could be tried on the basis of how much the assailant is respected by the gay pr0n specialists.

UCSB is my cousin’s alma mater

but he was in the business school (accounting, CPA)

    Masters from University of Texas

He had/has no time for such nonsense — busy being a greedy capitalist pig in the financial industry — heh

A girl I liked a lot back when I was in high school (who friend-zoned me) went to UCSB, I think for just one year. Then she transferred to one of the U’s in San Diego. We lost touch before she graduated so I have no idea where she is now or what line of work she went into.

It’s just as well all this happened before Google and LinkedIn…

OK, so there was a sentencing hearing. When does the actual wrist-slapping take place?
