“Ex-Gov. Jesse Ventura Hiding Out in Mexico From U.S. Drones”

I’m tempted to make a joke about the long-term cognitive effects of shooting horse hormones into your ass, but then, I started to think about the country I’m now living in and, while I think Ventura was probably pile driven one too many times, I can’t really blame him for having a paranoid streak. Can you?

Hell. I can envision scenarios in which the media actually would defend a drone strike on a suspected “domestic terror” compound, and I can easily see a scenario in which Ventura was labeled a potential domestic terrorist.

Of course, here’s a pro tip: if you are truly afraid of a drone strike, you may want to decrease your public exposure, not run around telling people you’re hiding out. Plus, didn’t I read somewhere that Ventura was given a radio show or some such…?

Which reminds me: How come Carl Weathers never did get elected Governor somewhere?

Wait a sec, he’s in hiding, with his own radio show?

    Who is John Galt?

    JESSE VENTURA is John Galt!

Still a better governor than the one we have now…

  4. Going off the grid and being on television would seem to be at cross purposes.

Jesse Ventura has passed into certifiable territory, even if he’s right occasionally.

He ain’t got time to bleed!

    – In other news….

    – And so Sochi begins, as only mother Russia can do it:

    – Does this green spray paint make my grass look fat?

    – The Floride versions are really leathal.

    – Bonehead plays “they love me, they love me not” with the illegal voting block hes trying to win over, due to general pissed offedness of ‘Mericans. I wouldn’t put it past the bastard to try to power it through if he knows hes going to get dumped.

  7. BigBangHunter says:

    – As far as Jesse, its most likely that his “fleeing to Mexico” has more to do with a certain Seal team tort winding its way through Texas courts than drones.

I bet they were hoping we’d all forgotten about Waco…

They keep forgetting that we have long memories and archives, Jim.

    Or Philly.
