“Ev-ee-dence? We don’t need no steenking ev-ee-dence.”
Notice that Kevin hasn’t said one word about being heterosexual. Aha!
Donnie Earle is, after all, a man who indicted himself  thereby proving that if no ham sandwiches are readily available, you can get a grand jury to indict a fruitcake.
Kevin: “Yeah, but what the fuck man, this is
Texas, and this is my county and I
can indict anybody I please. Now
where the hell is my ham sandwich?”
This is all rooted in the fact that the poor guy is named “Ronald”. It’s just that kind of shame that makes you lash out at other people. Like being named Clarence or, perhaps, Jeff.
He also probably hears this quite a bit, “Nice to meet you, Ronnie Earle. What’s your last name?”
But Delay did take laundered cash campaign contributions from the Communist Chinese and sent his number two man to a Buddist Convent as the bag man. No, wait a minute, that was the “no crime here because they didn’t mean any harm” party.
Delay is the hardened criminal that may have once been in a room at the same time some people who may have later committed a possible crime. Sufficient “false but accurate” criminal activity here!
Ronnie Earl is DA??
Well sheeeit, and here I was thinking he was a >DeeJay</i> on one of those classic rock stations in Texas that play lots of Molly Hatchet and Lynyrd.
I hear he once served a subpoena to a slice of lemon merengue.
“BECAUSE THE PEOPLE DEMAND PIE!”
tw: “filled”
…as in rich, creamery filling
Clearly, Ronnie Kevin Earl III is a Self Hating Homosexual who has wearied of having sex with his ham sammich.
that was a helluva sentence.
I would not be surprised one bit if this thing collapses just like Earle’s case against Kay Bailey Hutchison did back in the early 90s. He even said that she was physically abusive to her staff. WTF? That little old slip of a girl?
Anyway, I don’t give a damn about Tom DeLay. I’d rather have political leaders around who don’t bolster my pet theory that assholishness manifests itself physiognomically. I mean, the guy looks like a bug exterminator.
Ronnie Earle? Isn’t that the guy that the Dixie Chix shot?
From the comments section of JustOneMinute
they don’t call his town the People’s Republic of Austin for nothing.
“If instead of a hyperpartisan Travis County, TX, District Attorney known for politically-motivated prosecutions,…”
It all depends on your definition of “hyperpartisan”:
“EARLE HAS PROSECUTED FOUR TIMES AS MANY DEMOCRATS AS REPUBLICANS: “Over Earle’s 27-year tenure, his Public Integrity Unit has prosecuted 15 elected officials, including 12 Democrats.â€Â
LA Times5/15/05
FRIEND OF OFFICIAL TARGETED BY EARLE CALLED HIM A ‘BOY SCOUT’: “Democrats, for their part, are still upset over the prosecution of Attorney General Jim Mattox for bribery in 1985….
Christian Science Monitor, 12/03/04
ALLEGATIONS OF PARTISANSHIP NOT SUPPORTED BY FACTS: Chronicle editorial: “The record does not support allegations that Earle is prone to partisan witch hunts.â€Â
HOUSTON CHRONICLE, 3/17/03
..news must be slow around here…
Hmmmm.
I think that Earle didn’t include any evidence of wrong-doing on Delay’s part in the indictment is because:
1. There isn’t any.
2. As long as there is no evidence presented, the MSM can run with the story without any hindrances.
If there was evidence listed in the indictment, then it would be subjected to proper, although biased, analysis. But as there isn’t any evidence, then there’s no ethical compunction for the MSM to no engage in rampant speculation. Such specualtion could, and will, continue until some evidence actually shows up. If it ever does.
All you have to do is watch CNN for abotu 15 minutes to see this in effect.
spamword: “court”, appropriately enough.

As per the A.G. Earles’ press conference 9/29:
“Those issues of evidence evidence will be presented at the trial.”.
Is this story another ‘fake but accurate’? I’m wondering because yesterday CBS News, during an afternoon show, ***alerted*** the viewers Delay had been indicted.
For CBS News to break in during a show must mean it’s really important, right? The reporters must have verified the evidence, no?
On the other hand, it’s possible the story is Dan Rather’s subversive vengence against America. I wouldn’t put it past The Big Eye to further attempt to play us for fools.
As per the A.G. Earles’ press conference 9/29:

Which Delay has requested be scheduled as quickly as possible, which at this point appears to be about 90 days. What’s your wager that Mr. Earle will go along with that request, Dudackattack?
“What’s your wager that Mr. Earle will go along with that request, Dudackattack? “
I do my best to stray from speculation, conjecture and innuendo.
There is no source currently available that D.A. Earle will neither stall nor expidite the trial. In either instance Delay is entitled to his rights protected under the 6th Amendment – The right to a speedy and public trial.
Thats if this case even gets to trial. The defense still has it’s rights for motions to dismiss.
(But i’ll bet you 2 years and $10,000.00)
So you will agree that perhaps your comment did not represent your best effort to “stay away from speculation, conjecture and innuendo.”
Earle prosecuted Democrats, to be sure. The key is to see which ones. Were they primary foes of allies? Faction fight fallout? I have watched the Republicans in my home county engage in this sort of internal strife, as well as the Will County, IL Democrats. ‘course being Illinois, I am loathe to apply the example to other states, heh heh.
That’s the key, John.
For much of his tenure, Texas was heavily Democratic. So it’s interesting to see the kind of Democrats Earle went after—the centrists or the liberal Dems.
Hmmmm.
“the centrists or the liberal Dems”
According to Delay, and a few other people, Earle went after conservative Democrats.
Hmmmm.
*shrug* None of this matters. Delay is gone, permanently. It’ll take months, if not years if it’s dragged out, for this to get resolved. In a couple months the meme will be that we will all have to ‘move on with the political agenda’ and Blunt will be permanently the new leader, or someone else will be named.
Sooner or later a bunch of Republicans will start going after Delay and attacking him, much to the delight of the MSM and Democrats, and rack up face time on tv.
Democrats are a lot of things but at least they’re not political cannibals.
Try telling that to Andrew Cuomo.
Or you would, if an indictment was the same thing as summary judgment or a directed verdict.
Why Kevin, you fucker?
Kevin wants to know.
“A Democrat named Kevin”?
This concept mystifies me.
Is one person in here from Texas? Well, if not, you know so little about Delay, it’s like a few grains of salt from the entire box. He is scum on the bottom of my oldest crudiest pair of shoes after I walk through the oil slick and tar he helped to create in Texas and the Gulf Coast. His illegal redistricting of Texas even went to the Supreme Court and was overturned – by then it was too late, and alot of people lost elections because of it. The exterminator is well known for his under-handed and illegal activity since the days of his State rep days.
You’d be wrong – real wrong. It’s a shame Hutchinson got off – and it wasn’t due to a lack of evidence either. She just had better machine politics connections. The bitch.
Ronnie Earle has more honor, honesty and integrity in his little finger than our newly appointed Chief Justice.
By the way, Austin is the best thing in Texas, the rest of the place is TexAss.
If there isn’t any evidence, why would Delay be asking for a change in venue? Huh? Is it because there are so many people in the State that have evidence against him? You better believe it.
Sinequanonon wrote: “His illegal redistricting of Texas even went to the Supreme Court and was overturned – by then it was too late, and alot of people lost elections because of it.”
That’s completely untrue. Where did you come up with such a thing?
Wait, you must be Ronnie Earle trolling through the blogosphere—facts don’t matter much to him either!
Sinequanon wrote: “It’s a shame Hutchinson got off – and it wasn’t due to a lack of evidence either.”
Well if there was so much evidence then why didn’t Ronnie Earle present it? Did that thought ever occur to you?
The first step to your recovery is to face the truth: Ronnie Earle had no evidence against Hutchison and he has no evidence against DeLay.
And–and—and—you’re a stinky poopyhead, that’s what you are.

Dear Michael McCullough:
In fact, I do know that everything I stated is the truth, and only a very very small portion of the overall picture. You don’t, obviously, have to like the truth – but since then, the bugmeister has been BOOKED … Danno! The scum is going down.
Well……since I didn’t post that poopyhead comment, I imagine Jeffiepoo did? Very cute.
