Nice piece by Kurt Schlichter that reiterates what we’ve all been noting here: it’s always those who decry the right as “eliminationists” who turn out to really seem to toy with idea, be it Ayers and his Prairie Fire crew of domestic terrorists (now comfy tenured profs with Obama’s eternal gratitude and an invitation to appear on “The Morning Joe”), or progressive hacks like David Plouffe and the bizarrely manic David Sirota, whose quasi-kung fu prowess and impeccably plucked eyebrows have become the stuff of internet legend.
The only problem with Schlichter’s piece? Is that he leaves out the GOP establicans who would happily play Marshal Pétain and Vichy France to Sirota and Plouffe’s boxcar-loading overseers.
Though to his credit, Kurt does give helpful instructions to our would-be lefty executioners on how to operate a gun, should they ever find the nerve to pick one up and risk that particular mark of Cain — even if the ends justify the means.
We may have to change our motto from OUTLAW! to UNHELPFUL! Or maybe I could start a splinter group…
Yes they must.
As I keep saying, the primary hobby of the far left for about 250 years is slaughtering peasants. And by “peasants” I of course mean “the unhelpful.”
Those periods during which they wind themselves up to that point are what we, in modern terms, refer to as “relative peace.” But they always do wind themselves up.
the bizarrely manic David Sirota
I don’t know him. Just now. The pictures with the fist. Twitter making fun of that. Apparently a lot of people are aware and keep up with pansy pencil-neck bully. Throw a weak punch and make a face like you’re afraid to fight. Then others added a finger to the lips. One included a photo of an infant making a fist.
That line “bizarrely manic” triggered an insight, so profound, it was one them watchyacall it, epiphany, I felt a tremendous depth of sympathy, as if I were standing in my hotel room looking out the window at them, mostly fear and alarm. Why do the twitters always say “crazy baggers”? Why the word insane, and crazy, no tea party reference is complete without that, why? Photos of veterans removing barricades, insane straightup racist crazy tea baggers? Why that conclusion?
I felt the answer all at once.
To explain it would take fifteen paragraphs as liberals do, and I’m not up to it, neither is anyone else, but I did feel it. I know why. I sympathize.
Psych!
The dipshits are scared shitless. They see one sign “impeach obama” okay, maybe fifteen of those now, and attribute that to the entire movement and it is truly alarming. It is an offense to all they hold dear and true. And the equanimity on full display, carrying off the barricades as so many leaf cutter ants, politely pausing for the police cruiser to pass, but proceeding quietly and ineluctably, holds all the alarm of marching Nazis. It is a shot directly the heart. Being deaf to opposing view, it is all so new and surprising. It’s crazy. It means the tea party, baggers to them, are turning their world upside down. Insane!
All the furniture is going to land on the floor!

But seriously — the other thing that keeps them up at night is the idea that we’re NOT being controlled or paid off by the Kochs. The idea that we’d spontaneously associate to assert our rights is entirely alien to them.

Yeah, but, how, exactly?
Almost all of the pro-gressives I know couldn’t work a two handed flat saw. They’d shoot off their toes if they ever tried to flip off a safety.
I prefer defeated to destroyed. Destroyed has an unhelpful whiff of violence about it. To be defeated, you just need to be given a bit of space to dress America up in some of your ideas and see how she looks. As in, “No one will even notice the government shutdown. Hitting the debt limit will be no big deal.” It’s pretty clear that your faces of meth results aren’t popular.

Things like the debt limit – It’s actual testable shit, the consequences of which come close enough to the action that it’s pretty easy for American’s to see the cause and effect. And, as the polls is show’n, no one will buy your, “The Democrats pfft fault they pfft wanted kill America!”
So blow it up. The sooner that America really gets the disaster of listening to you, of electing Tea Party anarchists, the better. Don’t stop till you’ve lost the house.
“Almost all of the pro-gressives I know couldn’t work a two handed flat saw.”
I think some of them, in their heart of hearts, imagine a thug army taking care of the “bad” white people and putting the “good” white people (i.e., them) in charge. Certainly that was the Bill Ayers fantasy.
The idea that a sideways-held 9mm might not quite be a match for an AR-15 (or even a .30-’06) in anything at greater range than a car jacking doesn’t even enter their minds.
Of course, even if “their” guys won, the notion that they’d put the “good” white people in charge is absurd on its face. Ask any “intellectual” survivor of a Marxist revolution how that works out. If you can find one.
“It’s actual testable shit,”
The “testable shit” being that there is, in fact, plenty of revenue to keep up the payments on the debt.
Of course, that might mean laying off a few “community organizers”.
Section 4 delineates the responsibility of the Executive for making sure our debts are paid.

Uh huh. Obamacare totally rocks dude. Just keep your fat head in the sand and sing LA LA LA real loud when you hear different. You won’t look like a dull witted, clueless ,ass who can’t think or make a real argument. I promise.
Last line of my previous text was for our “friend” Stevie.
Paraphrased from an old source.
“They were caused to rise up originally by the usurpations and persecutions of the Clown Disaster; and when they were called rebels first, they were called so for no other reason than this, that they would not be slaves. “

So much success. So much win. So much transformation from something that works to something that doesn;t. Si se puede!
Consequences could mean China gets paid, but soldiers don’t. That’s gonna play great in Peoria.
It could mean = political theatre for the stupid.
Why are the dems losing states Steve?
Section 4 delineates the responsibility of the Executive for making sure our debts are paid.
That’s part of the problem, though. The Boy-Child at #OccupyResoluteDesk thinks, in his L’Etat c’est moi mindset, that “authorized by law” means “whatever he wants”, given that no one has stopped him after unilaterally declaring legislation “unConstitutional” and obviating his oath to faithfully execute the laws, and after he has unilaterally rewritten his Affordable Care Act.
Do you really think Boner would actually try anything if Obama unilaterally ignores the debt limit?
Obama could kill a nun live on MSNBC and other than the few hundred who were actually watching at the time, who would know? The rest of the media sure as hell wouldn’t report on it. And do you really think that any Senate Democrats would vote against him if Articles were voted out of the House?
Consequences could mean China gets paid, but soldiers don’t.
Two lies for the price of one. You’re gonna need to be a little bit more subtle if you want to get away with such obvious bullshit, though.
Consequences could mean China gets paid,
you don’t like the “yellow fello” stevie? how the hebrew?
I bet the consequences of not paying the soldiers would be spectacular.
Did anyone notice what happened just when ex soldiers weren’t allowed to visit monuments?
Yeah, just because they don’t have any money in their pockets doesn’t mean they don’t have the keys to the armories. And remember who it is that guards Fort Knox.
, but soldiers don’t. That’s gonna play great in Peoria.
might be an executive problem stevie O! O! O!

Kurt Schlichter did get a thin blade into John McCain and his Rovesters…
I enjoyed this article, giving credit where much credit is due…
Gives one a minor thrill to read.
Gotta wonder if Barky, seeing these setbacks, might whisper a nod for The Big Default, hoping beyond hope that whatever results of a paper-holdings disaster (401-K’s, stocks, bonds, all of it) aids his unspoken, unspeakable agendas. And of course he has blame for whatever happens already fixed.
There’s no trusting the guy. His mind was irreparably warped long before he hit these 48’s shores in (where else?) California.
the baracky can say no to your stupid memorials and paying the interest. baracky be ebt.

No I don’t. But that’s no reason for the House to not do the right thing.

The clone-breeders at Kamino need to re-examine their quality control.
Depends on what “quality” they consider to be the important one now doesn’t it?
Take the Democrats for an example. They have been “breeding,” selecting for the qualities they consider to be the important ones for decades and they have what they selected for.
Biden, the model, you might say.
Obamacare is another breeding experiment in progress.
“Don’t make too much money,” an important lesson for our times.

I’m still waiting.
If by “consequences” you mean Obama decisions, then yes.

It is sadly amazing. Dupes like “steve” think they could borrow from China without consequence. Then again, they think they can put anything in their mouths or anuses without consequence, they think they can unilaterally disarm without consequence.
And perhaps in the Obamunist womb, they can.
Until they are aborted by financial saline.
What Steve is REALLY posting, once you read between the lines, is composed of variations of “Racist!” and “Obamaphone!”
We owe the Social Security “lockbox” about twice as much as we owe the Chinese, FWIW.
I know who’s getting paid first.

Oh, he won’t ever hear different. But he will feel different when Obamunist care is implemented. Sicker. And Broke.
…and it’ll be all the Tea Party’s fault.
. . . it’ll be all the Tea Party’s fault.
For throwing their wooden shoes into the machine.
Sadly, I suspect “steve” will react just that way: “Not enough has been nationalized”.
“steve” will fellate Obama more and more, and it will never dawn on him that Obamajizz is poisoning him.

I had someone tell me the other day that the reason gun-free zones weren’t effective is the zones just weren’t big enough.
I am not making this up.
I am not 100% sure the person in question was an economist. But I have my suspicions.
I wonder if that economist knows about the underground indoor shooting ranges in London…lots of youtube videos with British voices shooting new and modded guns indoors lately, and not naming the range, which looks a bit ramshackle. Nome sane?
I had someone tell me the other day that the reason gun-free zones weren’t effective is the zones just weren’t big enough.

The Hugo Chavez / Salvador Allende mentality at work.
I used to think that the election of the Obamunist, like the Labour Election of 1945 in the UK, signaled the end of American predominance, and a long decay ahead of us, with no American Thatcher in sight.
(Has Sarah Palin taken her book earnings and built up a warchest, and has her work electing Tea Party congresscritters earned her enough political chits for a 2016 run?)
But given the Latinization of California and much of the rest of the USA, perhaps a banana republic future is in store for us.
Who will be our American Pinochet? And will he have a group of Chicago Boys for advisors?
I’m talking handguns and semi-autos too. Naughty kill guns.
Here’s hoping the Democrats will tell us again about the War On Women.

And yet another sign of despair was that people bought into that crap.
Does no one understand that demanding insurers cover routine and minor things, like birth control, guarantees that premiums will skyrocket?
What would car insurance cost if oil changes had to be paid by your 3rd party insurer? What would the oil changes cost?

Wouldn’t cost a thing… FREE AUTO CARE! *woot* Imma gon’ get my valves reground for free, while they at it.

It is that bad, DW. Sometimes I wonder what is the use?
Free stuff usually means that slaves have been created. Unless you have developed robots. Sometimes you have a berry bush come up in your yard, but usually, free stuff is stuff produced by coerced captives or is stolen plunder.

Which would be constitutionally against the law.
We have a President who has doubled our national debt (not including the $90 Trillion-with-a-T in the ‘Unfunded Liabilities’ column), unilaterally re-written laws to suit his political benefactors and donors, refused to enforce other laws that he publicly agreed with (until the next election cycle rolled around), violated Federal Law to kill hundreds of Mexican citizens (and at least two Federal agents), sued the States that dared to enforce the Federal Laws he steadfastly refused to, sued other States who were trying to ensure that only citizens get a vote (and only one vote, at that), used the mechanisms of Government to punish his rivals and opponents, used formerly non-political appointments to punish the American People, started a war without Congressional approval or authorization that ended up costing the life of his own ambassador, refused to even submit a Federal Budget, and bowed to foreign leaders.
Then bribed the bottom half of voters by stealing at the point of a gun from the upper half. “Those governments who rob Peter to pay Paul can always count on the support of Paul.”
It IS that bad. It’s now time to figure out where to bury the corpse, and figure out where we go from here.
Which would be constitutionally against the law.
When has that ever stopped TFG? It’s constitutionally against the law for the President to unilaterally rewrite legislation or go to war without Congressional approval, but here we are…
Jesus wept. I just watched Carney’s performance dance at the WH press briefing. Apparently, insisting on repeating a set piece of answers to different questions makes for FACT! The whole “being held hostage (hostage!) by one party in one branch of government who refuses to negotiate . . .”
Look in this here pocket mirror, Jay and then hand it to your boss and repeat what you just said.
The whole “being held hostage (hostage!) by one party in one branch of government who refuses to negotiate . . .”
Apparently, being held hostage by one party in one branch of government who refuses to negotiate is good (being FOR THE CHILDREN), and being held hostage by one party in one branch of government who refuses to negotiate is utter evil (Grandma gets tossed over the cliff edge).
It all makes perfect sense. Now I’m off to demand my check for not working in order to buy the health insurance I don’t want so as to not have to pay a tax that wasn’t a tax until our Democratically-unelected superlegislators said so. Because teabagger terrorists, yo!
If “constitutional” doesn’t mean “Obama gets everything he wants and nothing he doesn’t,” well…
That is the basic Bloomberg position. The mostly “gun-free-zones” we call big cities can’t stop the gun violence because guns are available outside of the “gun-free-zones.”
Their answer is to make the “gun-free-zones” universal. Except of course for government employee guns, their own security people’s guns, criminal’s guns who will have them anyway.
Disarming those who obey the law, while leaving the criminals armed = Paradise
Taking/taxing the money earned by those who work to make money, giving a portion to those who don’t and siphoning most off to support government jobs and politicians re-election = Paradise
The Chinese are supposed to have a lot of Hells.
Progressives have a lot of Paradises which resemble the Chinese Hells quite closely.
The Chinese multiplicity of Hells includes (so I’ve heard) the special one for child molesters and those who talk in theaters.
