Man without a country (or a conscience.  But that’s just nitpicking)

Tom Elia sends along the latest in George Galloway perfidy (by way of MEMRI and the Corner):

George Galloway on Syrian TV July 31, 2005:

Two of your beautiful daughters are in the hands of foreigners – Jerusalem and Baghdad. The foreigners are doing to your daughters as they will. The daughters are crying for help, and the Arab world is silent. And some of them are collaborating with the rape of these two beautiful Arab daughters. Why? Because they are too weak and too corrupt to do anything about it.

Galloway on al-Jazeera July 31, 2005:

America is losing the war in Iraq, and even the Americans now admit it. Even the puppet ministers and regime in Baghdad know it. The former puppet minister (Iyad) Allawi admitted it three times in the last month. America is losing the war in Iraq. And this will not change. The resistance is getting stronger every day, and the will to remain as an occupier by Britain and America is getting weaker everyday. Therefore, it can be said, truly said, that the Iraqi resistance is not just defending Iraq. They are defending all the Arabs, and they are defending all the people of the world from American hegemony.

It’s not the Muslims who are the terrorists. The biggest terrorists are Bush, and Blair, and Berlusconi, and Aznar, but it is definitely not a clash of civilizations. George Bush doesn’t have any civilization, he doesn’t represent any civilization. We believe in the Prophets, peace be upon them. He believes in the profits, and how to get a piece of them. That’s his god. That’s his god. George Bush worships money. That’s his god – Mammon.

One wonders why Tony Blair couldn’t sneak some truly useful provision into the new British anti-terrorism statutes that would’ve allowed for the official expatriation of Galloway to someplace where he could eat dates, drink green tea, and preach on Western evils.

In between the public stonings of rape victims, or the stadium-held executions of homosexuals, I mean.

There must be some provision that would allow Mr. Blair to call Galloway out for an old fashioned dust up with fists.  Galloway is in need of an asskicking more than most politicians alive today, and Tony seems like the man to deliver it.

  2. All of which goes to show how wrong we all were about Galloway last, in those libel cases he won.  He’s spewing this stuff for love, not money.

    Turing = clear

  3. Tman says:

    Worships mammon?

My lord is this guy annoyingly stupid. I’m sure he spewed all of this bile and then got in to a limo.

    JUST DON’T QUESTION HIS PATRIOTISM!!!

  4. DC says:

Galloway strikes me like Michael Moore – a bombastic windbag whose 15 minutes of fame have lasted too long.

Perhaps a site devoted to his bile and puffery would be useful, like Moorewatch.com (http://www.moorewatch.com/) would be fun – – imagine mucking through all Gorgeous George had to say?

  5. Bob Jones says:

Galloway is a lying sack of shit and I’d be he’ll find himself looking for his head once his useful idiocy is gone.

  6. shank says:

Okay.  Soldiers are sent in to end the raping, stoning, murdering.  Galloway turns around and calls these soldiers rapists in some kind of figurative way.  Like he would prefer it that the plastic shredders of old were still whirring away into the night, making patee of would be dissenters to the terrorist regime.  What kind of huffing, puffing, windbag uses that kind of logic?  I just…my fucking brain gets jammed up when I hear this kind of shit, I can harldy think straight.  Like, what the hell is wrong with you?

  7. shank says:

You know what, fuck that guy.  He’s just pissed ‘cuz he almost got caught with his hands in the cookie jar.  Or should I say oil drum.

  8. TallDave says:

THIS KIND OF DISSENT IS THE ULTIMATE PATRIOTISM!!!

  9. The Deacon says:

I don’t know if “giving aid and cmfort to the enemy” is considered treason in Great Britain, but it should be.

And the punishment is death! Preferably by public hanging in Trafalgar Square.

  10. Mac Buckets says:

THIS KIND OF DISSENT IS THE ULTIMATE PATRIOTISM!!!

And taking money from the enemy makes him George Washington and Winston Churchill wrapped into one!

  11. BumperStickerist says:

    Maybe George was being ironic?

  12. Schnarf says:

So, how’s that war going?  Has Iraq become an oasis of democracy and a beacon for the region yet?

Speaking of hands in cookie jars, that CPA sure was careful with taxpayer money, wasn’t it?

  13. The Colossus says:

They need to reopen the Tower.

  14. Defense Guy says:

Nice attempt at distraction.  I suppose we can assume you have nothing to say on the topic at hand.

  15. Rick says:

    Schnarf,

Very good.  The wit just oozes from that one.

As a matter of fact, despite what lying defeatists like you and Galloway would have us believe, Iraq is the example, the test case, the beacon if you will (at least for people who believe in the future, yourself excepted of course).

I have to laugh when guys like you drop an off-topic turd into the middle of a discussion by normal people.  You just keep playing the same tune over and over again hoping someone will notice eventually.  On the skin flute.

    What an ass-munch.

  16. JWebb says:

Schnarf should start his own website: Unmitigated Galloway.

  17. Percy Dovetonsils says:

Apparently, every British generation needs its own Lord Haw Haw.

  18. TF6S says:

Someone should tell George Galloway to go and choke on a bowlful of non-halal dicks…

  19. TallDave says:

So, how’s that war going?  Has Iraq become an oasis of democracy and a beacon for the region yet?

Don’t ask us, ask the Muslims.

  20. TallDave says:

Hey Jeff, you know what’s endlessly entertaining?

Going to lefty sites and posting something insanely anti-American, then watching the responses.

They rarely catch the irony.  But they often applaud.

The other day, I posted at a blog that shall remain nameless my theory that Reagan planned the 9/11 bombings on behalf of Israel.

“I think you’re on to something!”

I’m expecting a grant from the Soros foundation any day now.

  21. Beck says:

Christ on a fucking crutch, at what point does this sort of behavior become treason–in a strictly legal sense.  I mean, this guy should be behind bars.  He’s encouraging the killing of his own nations’ soldiers and citizens.  That’s pretty cut & fucking dried.

  22. Darleen says:

    TallDave

They don’t let you in the Leftist Cult until you have your irony removed.

  23. SeanH says:

Maybe Howarth will get his way and they’ll be able to deport Galloway to Syria.

  24. Shawn says:

First, kudos to Schnarf for the Thundercats Reference.

    Second, re: Galloway…….oy.

  25. Sean M. says:

Schnarf: “Well, I’m sure what Galloway meant to say was, uh…Hey, look over there!”

  26. nichevo says:

No, Beck, surely Galloway will not get his deserts in this world, though a rogue born to be hanged.  He can say all of that rot he likes.

But if one were to wonder, even in the most hypothetical way–

why he hasn’t been found in a ditch with a piece of baling wire through both his ears?  As I suppose was “feared” for V– P– after she was ‘outed’.

For that matter, why hasn’t she been found in the trunk of a car, or two cars?  If the Wilsons actually did perceive any threat to Bond, Mrs. Bond, whatsoever, do you really think they would be flaunting it?

You could say that one might prefer on

Then I would be a rogue poster, to be hunted and banned from self-respecting boards (excuse me, blogs, I date myself), and if I ran for dogcatcher or testified in traffic court one day, any schlemiel with a browser could fling this about in the press to my dismay.

Because what it leads to is, my shit list is probably thousands of names long.  Sometimes a Phoenix Project is debated for use in Iraq as a way to ‘surgically’ target insurgents, I suppose more in the nature of ‘hit them where they live.’ Why not here?

Oh, right, that’s the whole ‘purges’ thing.  Oops, my bad.

No.  That is the point.  There is always the temptation, isn’t there?  That Mencken quote about the tempation to “hoist the black flag and begin slitting throats.” You could certainly find people.  You always can, in every time and place.

But civilization is the watering hole.  No blood to be shed at the watering hole, right?  Only rogues make their kills there.  That’s why George Galloway, Valerie Plame, Joe Wilson, Oliver Stone and every other bloviator-and-worse will AFAIK live out their natural lives unless they drug out or OJ each other.

Th Left is so very, very angry.  The Muslims, the Arabs, the Asians, whoever is angry.  Sure, we’re the bad guys.  Sure.

But for the leftish emphasis on ‘sensitivity,’ there seems to be almost honest incomprehension of how angry (dare I say) we are.  Bad guys or not.

We have a lot to thank our founding fathers for, that so many of those nasty dead Europoid white males managed to die in their beds insteads of in vendettas.

The watering hole.  And these guys are pissing in the pool.

Turing word:  “Instead.” Yeah, that’s right.

  27. Beck says:

Let me guess:  drunken commenting?  I know it when I see it.

  28. shank says:

    Oops, I crapped my pants!

  29. Woot says:

If Galloway thinks so highly of Arab and Muslin countries (and hates the west so much) I think he should be extradited to one.

And what’s his problem with sucking up to any extremist group that approaches him? He has a meeting with some Palestinians and suddenly becomes extremely anti-Israeli.

He’s also a hypocrite. He supposedly campaigned against Saddam’s regime (because he recognised he was a vicious and deranged tyrant), but as soon as trouble between Iraq and the west kicked off again he said to Saddam “I salute you and admire your indefatigability…”, and other overtly butt kissing comments. It’s like he just sides with anyone who also has a grudge against western/capitalist/majority non-Muslim countries.

I can’t see how he can defend tyrannical regimes that employ death squads and violent oppression or terrorist acts against his own people. He is just as bad as terrorist in my opinion. I’d like to see him hanged for treason.
