Yes, I really AM that good

I grant you that it’s difficult to parody the strained jargon of the metrosexual agonizers and penis deniers, as I attempted to yesterday with my post on the baseball team that pulled a car off  a trapped young girl, but I must point out that it is reactions like this one that suggest I can still pull it off with stunning aplomb.

Beta male.  Me.

Honestly.  To borrow from Brad Hamilton, doesn’t anybody fucking knock any more?

update: the linked post seems to have disappeared without a trace. Which I guess is a kind of retraction…

The fact that the writer is so ideologically tone deaf and humor impaired that she didn’t understand the point of your post is worrisome. The possibility that she’s in some position of power is frightening.

  2. Alec Leamas says:

Presumptuous, arrogant, hyper-masculinized and almost ritualistic male-centric esteem building. All of it providing a smokescreen behind which is hidden the screaming subtext that women are too weak and vulnerable to live in world underneath a car and their implements of baseball.

    Haha! It’s like reverse MadLibs!

Sheesh. You guys know what that young lady needs.

  5. sdferr says:

It’s not perfectly clear, but could be read as equating modern feminine mystique with a stupendous imbecility. Which, that’s good, right? Or at least it has the good label.

  6. From her About page:

Who says that being a housewife must be boring?

The purpose of this blog is to show that being a housewife is fully compatible with the modern world. I wish to inspire, help and promote the feminine and submissive women to live their lives to the fullest. I am also an anti-feminist, as I believe that feminism is yet another way to enslave women. The truth is feminine women who embrace the powerful energy of true womanhood, do not need feminism. We are powerful without it; some of the most influential women in our history have been anti-feminists who promoted the female and male dualism – namely Rand and Thatcher. As we are able to maintain and gain all that we want through spiritual self-discovery and by living the life of a true feminine submissive to our Masters (Guardians).

What themes can I expect from this blog?

You can expect articles on various subjects: fashion, recipes, relationships, marriage, sex, politics (mainly anti-feminism), philosophy and current events. My thoughts and opinions come from individualistic, secular, and libertarian perspective. (My husband and I, are not Christians and we do not follow a specific religion). I am a believer of the natural association between ruler and ruled; thus, my master is my ruler and I am his property. My subservience to him (my husband) encompasses all activities in my life.

When I refer to women as submissive and inferior I do not mean that women are somehow less worthy of dignity or respect. It is just a means to convey my submission in accordance to my husband. We all as humans have an equal right to respect and worth. However, for a successful marriage and or a relationship to function the wife must submit. As equality between the genders cannot EVER exist….

    Bob,
After reading that I almost feel bad about the comment I left at her site. I know what I’ll do; I’ll pray to my natural association ruler for forgiveness ;^)

  9. Slartibartfast says:

At least she’s to the anti-feminist side of your cartoon self, Jeff.

  10. mondamay says:

Wow, her site just went down.

I was going to try to read about her (so that I didn’t make the same mistake she apparently did about this site). At least Bob managed to snag the About page.

  11. Slartibartfast says:

I’m looking at it right now.

She’s got some wacky ideas in my view, but America is nothing if not a kind of uneasy amalgam of wacky ideas.

  12. mondamay says:

Strange, the page wouldn’t load for me after the first time I looked. I had to flush the DNS to get it to work again.

  13. Slartibartfast says:

I think she wiped out that post, after I commented on it.

But, no worries, my manhood will endeavor to persevere.

She’s a flower-child wannabe. Trying to punch above her weight wasn’t a good idea.

She’s probably chanting and burning sage leaves. Poor thing.

  17. The link goes to nowheresville. Can’t see what the comment was. and can’t read all of her blog right now….

    Nevertheless,
As a man that leans traditionalist/classical liberal, I see a lot to like about that woman blogger.

Bob Belvedere post her about page, and that seems (generally) in line with many trad-con women.

Male Feminists Afraid of Masculinity: Defending Manginahood

Okay, so this just happened to be posted in one of my facebook groups.

A high school baseball team in California was in its final practice of the season Tuesday when they heard loud screeching, followed by a young girl screaming.

In the parking lot next to the baseball field of Valley High School in Elk Grove, a mother, who was dropping her daughter off for an after-school program, accidentally put her car in reverse and ran over her own child, according to baseball coach Troy Quirollo.

“We hear what sounded like a car accident and we look over and we see one car, basically bouncing up and down,” Quirollo told For The Win.

The players’ reaction was immediate. Both the JV and varsity teams sprinted to the parking lot, some even jumped over the dugout, Quirollo said.

“They didn’t even discuss what to do,” he said. “They just went out there and did it.”

Quirollo, who dialed 911 once the team reached the scene, said he figured about 10-15 players helped pick up the car. He said the back left tire was on top of the girl’s back and she was bleeding near her ears. Assistant coach James Milholland was the one who pulled the girl out from underneath.

    The mother was hysterical.

“I don’t think she knew what happened until it was over,” Quirollo said.

After police and firefighters arrived, Quirollo pulled his team aside and congratulated them on saving this girl’s life. He also made it clear that if anyone wanted to talk or felt emotional, coaches and school counselors would be available.

Quirollo then dismissed the team, despite there being a game the next day.

It seemed the best way for the players to let loose and de-stress was to play baseball. The next day was the Vikings final league game of the season, and although they lost, Quirollo said it was the best game of the year.

“We played one of the best games I’ve seen our team play,” he said. “I think they bonded over what happened. They became a team and somehow, this brought them together and they played like I’ve never seen them play before.”

The Sacramento Police Department declined to comment on the girl’s condition, however she is expected to make a full recovery according to The New York Daily News. Additionally, Quirollo said he’s heard that the injuries sustained were just some scrapes, bruises and a fractured bone behind her ear — remarkable considering his team found her pinned underneath a tire.

Heroic right? You can call it chivalry, politeness etc. Men seeing fellow citizens in distress, decide to help and are made heroes for it. Beautiful right? You would think so, but it seems that Male Feminists ARE really, outraged in this case!

    “How dare they, help women?!!!”

    One male beta concluded:

Presumptuous, arrogant, hyper-masculinized and almost ritualistic male-centric esteem building. All of it providing a smokescreen behind which is hidden the screaming subtext that women are too weak and vulnerable to live in world without clans of men bound together by a fidelity to their tribe and their implements of war.

Oh no how dare they act nice, and help some poor woman! Women are independent and free these days. Didn’t you know women are TOTALLY capable of fighting off five guys who wish to rape them!

Male feminist course of action: “Next time I see a gorilla attacking my wife, I will just calmly walk-by, after all she is independent and equal and NOT weak, so she will fight of the gorilla herself.”

Ugh Why can’t male-feminists fly to Mars or something?

And I am going with that blog not being a parody, in regards to my previous post

  20. mondamay says:

Yes, she has definitely deleted the entire post, now. That may be why I had trouble reaching the page there for a moment.

  21. Perhaps not everyone gets the wit volleyed around these parts. An acquired taste, as they say.

  28. Jeff G. says:

I’m sure she’s got the right ideas. But she just needs to be careful before pulling the rhetorical trigger.

Though taking the post down without noting the mistake is kind of bad form, I’d say.

  29. -Very bad form, indeed. Perhaps, she should be spanked? – Ponder that question here.

-Conan wrote: Bob Belvedere post her about page, and that seems (generally) in line with many trad-con women.

Just glancing at some of the stuff on her site, it seems to me she’s a believer in her own version of Ayn Rand’s man worship idea.

At least throw us a trigger alert before you over share!

  45. serr8d says:

There had to be tangible evidence of a real malignant neoplasm growing, not just a measly 82% probability that one might grow. I’m guessing she had a lump that tested positive for breast cancer. Then, someone scripted for her this emotive tragedy.

A script born of Hollywood, all but guaranteeing her another Oscar.

As someone once said, ‘this is the unkindest cut of all’.

  48. happyfeet says:

    you know that’s not

she’s really a cool chick if you want hollywood fodder go pick on that useless dumb as rocks obamaslut jessica alba

  49. Ernst Schreiber says:

A girl I knew growing up (her mother was my mother’s best friend) died of breast cancer when she was in her very early thirties. Left two or three (I’m sorry to say I don’t recall) pre-school and/or early grade-school aged children without a mother.

I can also tell you, violating one of my self-imposed commenting rules, that my beloved is scared to death of breast cancer. She’d literally rather die than have to undergo a masectomy.

The point being that breast cancer is a particularly especially vicious bitch.

  50. Spiny Norman says:

    serr8d, Ernst,

Angelina’s mother fought cancer for 10 years before finally losing the battle. My mother died of pancreatic cancer this past March, only 34 days after diagnosis. I’m not sure which is worse.

If Angelina had a possibly malignant lump, I can fully understand her decision.

  51. bour3 says:

Brad Hamilton ? So I ended up on YouTube with a scene of Sean Penn stopping at a convenience store and asking for the bathroom just as the place is robbed. His reappearance gives Brad Hamilton the opportunity to splash coffee in the crooks face, and it’s awesome, Man, awesome.

  52. mondamay says:

    serr8d says May 14, 2013 at 9:40 pm

Again, please look at Jolie’s own account of this, and not the media hacks. They are portraying this as something other than what it is. She obviously went through a lot of pain from the procedures, and she won’t be able to breastfeed anymore (assuming she ever did, I don’t know), but this was done with full aesthetic considerations. She still has all the usual external features, and she described the scars as “small”.

The media has fixated on the cost of her screening, but has said nothing about the likely costs of the actual surgeries she had performed, instead leaving us to suppose that she just had everything removed. This borders on propaganda, as the message normal women are getting is from this is very different from reality, and I suspect that with Obamacare in place, the cost/availability of the more aesthetic options will be much worse, putting it only in the hands of the super-wealthy.

  53. Slartibartfast says:

Hi, Brad. You know how cute I always thought you were.

  54. John Bradley says:

This blog needs a safe word.

I think it has one already, it’s just that “Plook me now, you savage rascal!” wasn’t an especially well thought-out choice.

  55. Garym says:

Angelina absolutely did the right thing. An 87% chance of getting breast cancer is nothing to wait on. Getting a double mastectomy on short notice is traumatic, and having time to prep for reconstruction can be benificial to the psyche. My wife had a 2D tumor. We had all of 30 days to make a decision on a double mastectomy and no time to prep for reconstruction. My beautiful wife is a survivor today, but her implants are more of a burden than aesthetically pleasing.

  56. Mrs. B. had the BRCA test a few years ago because her mother had breast cancer three times [it eventually killed her]. She was fully prepared, if it came back positive, to have a double mastectomy – I agreed with her. She had no signs of breast cancer when she had the test done. Luckily, it came back negative.

  57. Garym says:

Glad to hear it was negative Bob. My wife was 7 or 8 months from her last mamogram when we found her tumor. So, it doesn’t take long grow if the potential is there.

  58. Glad to hear Mrs. GaryM is doing well.

    Cancer’s a Goddamn bitch.
