Eric Holder says he and his department have great respect for the rule of law.

    Case closed.

Max! We hardly knew ye. But at least your funky-eyed brindle dog had that neato handkerchief.

  3. palaeomerus says:

Without people to demand that things get real and force the issue, beyond the gates of temerity, and the high stone walls of hubris, not to mention the draw bridge and porticulus of grandiose delusion, should they be denied, then they WON’T get real. Too many people have been convinced that we are living in magical, post-real world and that our rights can be unilaterally toggled off by mere declarations of good intentions made on the behalf of our betters..

  4. palaeomerus says:

Fuck you English! I can taste your blood! GGNNAAAARRRGH!

The IRS demands Marion Bower provide the Government with details of what materials her group is reading.

Mrs Bower mails back a copy of the United States Constitution.

And those tea party people are “admittedly racist”. Because he says so.

To paraphrase MLK, “Mr. Bond, I thoroughly despise you for the evil content of your character rather than for the color of your skin”.

Are you all as thankful as I am that our tax dollars are helping to fund organizations that crank out thinkers like this?

Obama may or may not have known about this, but either way, the underlings get a feel for how the administration operates and then act accordingly. That’s what happened here.

    Deputy AG’s IRS report.

  12. sdferr says:

ThoughtCrime must at least be taxed. Be thankful the payment may be made in coin, and not in blood. But best of all, don’t hold the thoughts. They’re crimes, dummies.

  13. BigBangHunter says:

    – Next up: “Holder orders FBI, Justice probe of FBI and Justice.”

  14. BigBangHunter says:

    – Hey Bumblefuck. We’ve been carrying your water since you started to run for office, and this is how you repay us?

    – You know you run this shit on the mouth breather breeders and low info useful idiots, that’s one thing, but when you start in on us then its personal and important.

I thought this was pretty funny.

    – Beat me to it bh. The shit is flying so “Fast & Furious” they can’t even keep their canned responses straight anymore.

    – Carney is hiding behind “On-going investigations” and “innappropriatr to comment” now. Basically they gotten caught in so many lies they’re just not willing to talk anymore.

  18. geoffb says:

Steny needs to memorize, “What did the Obama administration do and know and when did they do and know it?” Saves on brain cells of which he has few enough still firing.

  19. BigBangHunter says:

    – They can’t do that geoffb. Any mention that allows the bearest idea of WH mendacity as a Demcrat and you’re off the reservation.

  20. leigh says:

I’d almost feel sorry for Steny if he wasn’t such a jagoff.

  21. […] Protein Wisdom commentator Palaeomerus agrees, but is much more eloquent about it [damn him]: […]

  22. BigBangHunter says:

    – So Friday we’ll all have another great “American dishonorable idols” show, consisting of double-speak, deflection, covert finger pointing, and absolutely no one did anything wrong, and if they did Obama didn’t know a thing about it.

  24. SBP says:

    NR’s link about Barky’s half-bro is damning.

Apparently his Kenyan “charity” got tax-exempt status it never even applied for. Retroactively. Approved by Lerner herself.

    obama is the one

    Bloomberg attempts to spin:

    http://www.bloomberg.com/news/2013-05-15/irs-sent-same-letter-to-democrats-that-fed-tea-party-row.html

See, a whole 3 out of 471 groups targeted were Democrat-leaning. That shows that it was fair and balanced. Or something.

  27. Pablo says:

IRS official Lerner speedily approved exemption for Obama brother’s ‘charity’

Who wouldn’t greenlight the Barack H. Obama Foundation tout de suite? Character counts, no?

Its president and founder, Abon’go “Roy’ Malik Obama, is Barack Obama’s half-brother and was the best man at his wedding, but he has a checkered past. In addition to running his charity, Malik Obama ran unsuccessfully to be the governor of Siaya County in Kenya. He was accused of being a wife beater and seducing the newest of his twelve wives while she was a 17-year-old school girl.

Surely, when you’ve got twelve wives, you’re going to need to smack a bitch around every now and then, amirite?

It is also not clear what the Barack H. Obama Foundation actually does. Its website claims the organization has built a madrassa and was building a imam’s house but there is no other evidence that the nonprofit was actually helping poor Kenyan children.

That seems clear enough to me, raaaaacist! What else would the Barack H. Obama Foundation be doing?

  28. SBP says:

I’m pretty sure that if Jeff made up the name “Abon’go Malik” for a hypothetical Obama relative it would be incredibly racist. So it’s a good thing that’s his real name.

  29. Pablo says:

    Or, what nr said.

  30. Pablo says:

I’m beginning to think Lois Lerner needs to spend some time in a cell.

I’m beginning to think Lois Lerner needs to spend some time in a cell.

    – Name someone in the Fourth Reich that doesn’t apply to.

  32. mondamay says:

The only thing I see here that is truly scandalous is that you have to beat the media over the head with this much corruption at a time to get them to seriously report on a Democrat White House. I remember it was the same way with Clinton: there was new crap coming out every week on the fancy new Internet, in The American Spectator, and on Rush’s shows, and finally the media started to report on it here and there.

I’m with Cranky, though: I feel like I’ve seen this episode before, and the bad guy lives at the end. There is still plenty of time to find an “It was just sex”-type defense.

  33. sdferr says:

spend some time in a cell.

But never a second in the basement of the Lubyanka. That’s reserved for the ThoughtCrimers.

  34. SBP says:

OT, but worth a boggle or two: Governor Moonbeam is planning to “borrow” $500 million of the state’s “carbon” money. No set date for repaying the loan; it’ll be repaid “when the fund needs it”.

Just in case anyone thought that carbon bullshit was ever intended to be anything other than a leftist slush fund.

    http://www.businessweek.com/news/2013-05-14/california-to-borrow-500-million-from-carbon-fund-in-brown-plan

I think I’ll go into a bank and ask to borrow money to be repaid whenever (in MY OPINION) the bank needs it back. That should be amusing.

  35. mondamay says:

it’ll be repaid “when the fund needs it”
    Ah. The Social Security model.

  36. newrouter says:

the “baracky = “sgt schultz” angle may work

  37. SBP says:

I actually don’t think Obama is going to finish his term, but I agree that he likely won’t do jail time. Resignation followed by a pardon from Slow Joe is the most likely scenario.

That will likely be followed by appointing Fauxcahontas as Veep, followed by Slow Joe deciding to “spend more time with his family”.

  38. BigBangHunter says:

    – Absolutely Mondamay. Until the AP spying shit hit the fan, they were good to go with the MSM-wide scandals blackout. Says all you need to know about the national media.

    – So T-partiers, 9/11-ners, Constitutionalists, the Joooooos, and the press…..What? did they forget the bitter bible clingers….Nope.

  39. mondamay says:

SBP says May 14, 2013 at 7:26 pm

President Biden? Hasn’t this country suffered enough?

  40. bh says:

    Thanks for that link, SBP.

Dem governors do love to raid set aside funds. Yes, it does go to show what they don’t actually care about. In Cali, it’s now the green agenda. In Wisco, it was the road building funds. And they’ve all raided the tobacco settlement funds.

They don’t have much use for spending that isn’t explicitly understood as direct patronage for votes. To work properly as a bribe it needs to go where it is properly understood to be bribe.

  41. BigBangHunter says:

    – Moonbeam is no doubt getting very nervous, as he, along with all the rest of the clan cult Bumblefuck see their worst nightmare unfold.

  42. Pablo says:

President Biden? Hasn’t this country suffered enough?

It could be that we’re due for some comic relief.

  43. BigBangHunter says:

    – I don’t know that Biden would be all that bad for a few years of simply figurehead. Sort of a Gerald Ford with less falling down, less hair, and mostly empty suit buffoonery.

  44. newrouter says:

    more hairplugs please: sanfrannan

  45. SBP says:

I just hope Biden has a chance to name a veep before leaving, ’cause President Boehner doesn’t exactly thrill me either.

  46. SBP says:

    You know what’s scary?

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_presidential_line_of_succession

Not one of these people is qualified to be President of the United States. Not. One.

  47. BigBangHunter says:

“If I could then go back to the IRS issue,” said a reporter from the AP. “The president did use the word ‘if these activities had taken place,’ but there has been an acknowledgement on the part of the IRS leadership that these things did indeed occur. I wondered why the president used that phrasing in claiming that it was outrageous?”

“Those from the IRS that have spoken about this obviously have much greater insight into what took place than we do. We have not seen the report. We have not independently collected information about what transpired. We need the independent inspector general’s report to be released before we can make judgments. One person’s view of what actions were taken or what that individual did is not enough for us to say something concretely happened that was innapropriate” said Carney.

    – This from the main spokesperson for the “Riots over a video” gang.

  48. BigBangHunter says:

    – I hope the good living and paychecks were worth it, because I gotta believe there’s a special place in hell for guys like Carney.

  49. leigh says:

Jay’s starting get that Mike McCurry look about him. I’m kind of hoping he shows up drunk one of these days and really let’s ‘er rip.

    – I’m waiting for one of the Rats to break, and then the stampede of rodents from the sinking ship should be awesome.

  51. leigh says:

    We can dream, eh BBH?

  52. BigBangHunter says:

    – Dja’ notice how Hildebeast is trying to polish her image with the “Glad I gave Bush the war powers” thing. Course in the next sentence she quickly throughs red meat to the eternally stupid with, “But I never meant him to use them in a war”. These people are all stullifyingly mind fucked.

  53. Ernst Schreiber says:

    – I’m waiting for one of the Rats to break, and then the stampede of rodents from the sinking ship should be awesome.

They’d all drown. So they’ll stay with the ship.

  54. bh says:

It might be one of those times when the direct thing is better than the analogy.

I don’t know what a rat will do in these circumstances but a thug of the Chicago style will stay with the gang until they’re facing real jail time. It’s only then that they’ll sing.

Get ’em under oath or nothing will happen.

  55. BigBangHunter says:

    – Issa has already started that process. I can’t wait for that prick pickering to be questioned. He’s going to say he did what he was tasked with doing. Which was the administrations way of making sure he didn’t look at anything important, and then they sugar coated it with the “incompetence” bullshit, and stayed away from the Gestoppo and her highness.

  56. Ernst Schreiber says:

I hope your right bh, but if this crowd can rehabilitate would-be mass murderers like Ayers, Dorn and the other (Columbia) bitch, they can certainly rehabilitate an overly enthusiastic undersupervised IRS agent or two. So I suspect the Democrat version of Omerta still holds.

What it’s going to take is for somebody to grow a conscience.

    And also a pumpkin patch.

  57. Ernst Schreiber says:

Nothing’s going to come of it without a Select Committee.

And that won’t happen for two reasons: timidity and ambition.

You never know, one day those IRS stooges might work the Republicans!

  58. bh says:

As things stand now, I’m not particularly optimistic.

  59. Ernst Schreiber says:

Short of somebody coming forward with an A/V record of Obama doing a De Niro impression regarding the IRS and the tea-party, or of him (or Hillary) saying something like “I’m not going to risk the election over the life of that fag,” nothing is going to come of this.

  60. Silver Whistle says:
