And when you’ve lost Anderson Cooper … [Darleen Click]

Poor Debbie, she sports her new and unfortunate retro-Shirley-Temple makeover and Cooper just keeps refusing to let her sing On The Good Ship Lollipop.

The media whores seem to have discovered that continuing to put out gets them nothing but a reputation.

  2. BigBangHunter says:

    – So now, instead of a gorkie she has a miniature poodle on her head. Unattractive, stupid, and wearing a pooch on your skull is no way to go through life, except if you’re a Progessive, then its expected.

    – Offered as relief for the PW eyes that endured tinkle down Debbie….Oh yeh, Rule 5 redux.

  3. palaeomerus says:

I wish I could somehow hypnotize her to make her wear a pork pie hat and some zinc oxide sun cream on her nose.

She’s the new Mr. Potato head.

  4. BigBangHunter says:

    – Having to share a news desk with her, I would imagine Cooper sits in quieter moments and wonders exactly where and when his career careened off the rails.

  5. BT says:

He says she lied in her fundraising email.
    She says it doesn’t matter.

    And so it goes.

There. That’s a little better. Hmm…eye patch or pirate beard?

  7. BigBangHunter says:

    – When the end justifies the crime lying is no big deal.

    – She did the same thing with the ‘Romney caused a woman to die’ bullshit, and after days of denial admitted without batting an eye she lied saying, “Of course we knew and talked to the husband, but we didn’t coordinate with the PAC ad because that would be against the law”.

    – These Marxocrats just do not think they have to adhere to any sociatal rules.

    – Fox news, Gallup, and Radmussen all have Romney ahead. For an incumbent to not have at least a comfortable lead at this point is total desaster, and the Dems going for abortion as their rallying issue is the final proof of just how panicked they are.

    – When the Left feels backed into the corner they always run home to ‘mamma’ (the feminazi scum).

  10. Danger says:

Why doesn’t she just use one of those hair straighteners?

Yeah an abortion themed convention does seem more like a “shore up any weak, uninspired support and attempt to depress turnout of the enemy by tiring them out and if possible shaming them and making them feel demonized” type of play instead of a “win more people over to our point of view by pointing out our similarities and suggesting that we aren’t all that far apart and claiming that we all want what’s best for the country and we can get along if we try” type of play.

  12. palaeomerus says:

Then again, we live in a country that wants to just let ex New jersey Governor John Corzine off the hook and instead spend all its rage trying to punish a guy like Akin essentially for liking his babies alive and not being a rape expert. I’m not even going to get into fast and furious.

    So maybe we ARE screwed.

  13. BigBangHunter says:

Well, not if we just pay attention to the signs.

    The Redneck highway anthem:

    If Obama you vote out,
    you are wise and brave….
    Romney in 0’twelve no doubt,
Now’s the time for Burma Shave.

  14. B Moe says:

I lol’ed at Coopers visible recoil when she accused Romney of being disingenuous after spending 5 straight minutes insisting the truth doesn’t matter.

She really is a piece of work.

    What Debbie Meant:

“Dammit, Anderson…whose effing side are you on, anyway!?”

It’s the new trend. Get with it!

Shirley Temple? Come on Darleen. You can do better than that. Shirley Temple Black is a lady. Ms. Wasserman is no lady.

  21. Matt says:

I think this play to abortion is an attempt to increase turnout of the young, who, with two less than appealing candidates, are increasingly likely to sit this one out. My firm had an young female intern who was headed off to college and talked to me about registering to vote. We discussed who she would be voting for and she said Obama- when I asked why, she said social issues were the only thing she cared about and Republicans (like myself) hated gays and wanted to ban abortion. I asked her if the economy wasn’t more important, considering the circumstances, and she said it wasn’t because gay marriage and abortion are “rights.” and “rights” are the most important thing. When I asked her if she thought her attitude would change when she herself was actually having to pay for things (as opposed to her parents paying her way for the next 4-6 years), she admitted she would then start caring about the economy. And of course, her majors of choice were “Woman’s Studies” and Sociology.

  22. cranky-d says:

Did you mention that getting a Woman’s Studies or Sociology degree is a waste of time and money?

  23. Ernst Schreiber says:

I think Sociology is a great way to prepare yourself to work the counter at the department of motor vehicles.

‘Course it’d probably be cheaper to be related to somebody who already had a job there.

There’s a link floating aound on one of these posts to something about how the “youth” vote is increasingly focused on the fact that, after four years, they still can’t find a job.

  24. sdferr says:

Anderson Cooper isn’t actually Anderson Cooper though, is he? That is, when he’s projecting on tv? Isn’t he more like a staff of a couple of researchers (who are told what to research), at least one producer (who is doing some telling and perhaps being told from above), a director (who’s doing some more telling, as well as being told), and so on, to include Anderson’s own input in his own person prior to reaching the interview desk, etc.? So the signal being sent comes from another, wider place than simply from the mushy mind of Anderson Cooper?
