The RNC is really doing some great work this time around.

Meanwhile, remember Viviette Applewhite, the poor, sweet, dear old lady who was going to be disenfranchised for the first time since back when she was a slave by racisty old Pennsylvania’s racist voter ID law? Funny thing happened yesterday. She went and got an ID. Because racism.

I think petulant is a better word. Just like the typical red diaper baby that he is. I love how these bastards call us racist for pointing out the color of his diaper.

    Diaperists!

  3. leigh says:

That is one great ad! It’s about time the RNC started playing hard-ball.

I’m waiting after the convention when the Romney camp can then spend its money for ads. Failteam Obama has been going through its $ like crazy, in some places 12 to 1, on negative ads and may (God willing) run out of $ in the last few weeks of campaigning.

Of course, they have the Lamestream media still.

what gives me a giggle about this ad, too, is Debbie WS’s use of the word “literally” several times

  6. Slartibartfast says:

She means it, Darleen. Literal deathtraps.

  7. sdferr says:

    This will not end well.

  8. leigh says:

Darleen, yup. They suffer from a complete poverty of language. It’s like they brainstorm (ha!) one or two talking points and the conversation ends there. DWS is like one of those Chatty Cathy dolls we had when we were kids. The pull string doesn’t generate random phrases anymore.

“Shredding the safety net.” “Shredding” “”The safety Net” “Safety net” “Shredding the…net”

and “literal” Jim Crow laws, too?

Geez, just who passed those laws back then, ya think?

  10. guinspen says:

Touré pronounced it with a long “i” and Cornel West went with the short.

What to do, what to do.

  11. leigh says:

Well, West is a prof at an Ivy league school. Ergo, he is correct. By default. Just ask him.

  12. guinspen says:

Well sure, but Touré boasts “many, many scholars.”

    So.

For the record, I was going short.

  13. leigh says:

Completely OT, but cool: Eavesdropping beetles.

  14. sdferr says:

An enterprising conservative filmmaker could craft something along the lines of “Viv Applewhite vs. THE STATE BUREAUCRACY” and while telling a simple story of the individual human being triumphant against the unfeeling stupidity of an enormous left-statist apparatus in Philadelphia (which even pretends to work on her behalf while never doing so!), make a bit of coin on the side.
