Chris Christie, conservative superhero!
Seriously, is it any wonder why the RINOs and the same online “conservatives” who backed Romney early on love them some Chris Christie? Sure, he oftentimes barks at the appropriate leftwing boogeymen, but in the end, his record is what it is: he refused to sign on to the ObamaCare suit, he’s put up dubious judicial appointments, he was all in for Mike Castle, was all for the Ground Zero mosque, shares a Jeb Bush-like affinity for “comprehensive immigration reform,” has publicly mocked (with left-wing entertainers and the elder Bushes, who traffic in such things) Sarah Palin (and by extension, the TEA Party), and he is tentatively (it was leaked, likely by his people) scheduled to give the keynote speech at the GOP convention while, say, Scott Walker is not, with Walker very deliberately bracketed by GOP strategists like Karl Rove, the “architect” of “compassionate conservatism” and moderate coddling.
I’m waiting for someone to ask him about Michele Bachmann’s attempts to get our investigative agencies to do their jobs with respect to the worrisome insinuation of the suddenly “largely secular” Muslim Brotherhood into our government, either by increased access or through appointment; because I suspect he’d come down firmly on the side of John McCain and Lindsay Graham and John Boehner, chiding the Hobbits for their “McCarthyism.”
Remember that when Ann Coulter and the establishment and the edgy “conservative” online mouthpieces for the GOP push him on us as the next “inevitable” candidate in line for some major national office.

Jeffery Lord hisses at McCain, Rodgers and Boehner to amusing effect.
I stopped reading Ann after her unseemly cheerleading for both Christie and Romney beginning last year.
She revealed her true beliefs and the threat she represents to conservatism.
It’s been my opinion for some time that the blood feud on the Left against Nixon was because of his involvement in bringing Hiss to justice.
I think that’s true, McGehee.
People love to hate on Nixon regardless of his good works in rooting out communists in the State Dept and not making a stink about having the election of 1960 stolen from him by the feckless and wreckless JFK.
And still the presence of the pumpkin’s characteristic or-an-ji-ness, though this time the pumpkin is from Cincinnati.
I wasn’t aware that regardless was a synonym for because.
I meant in the sense that they “disregard” his good works and focus on the negative.
The Cincinnati Pumkinhead must go.
What you call his good works is a negative in their eyes, leigh. A negative no amount of intrusive big government liberal do-gooderism could ever redeem.
Ah, I getcha. They are part and parcel of the folks who insist that the Rosenbergs were framed.
Well, fuck them, I say.
Too high a likelihood of contracting communicable disease.
J’hear that “bohunk” just now? Still wonder where he reads?
Christie is basically a conservative-leaning Democrat. I think he makes a pretty good governor of a left-leaning state. I have no desire to see him or like-minded people holding national office.
It makes me wonder if it has anything to do with her never getting married, JCW. It’s a little too SocialCon even for my usual line of thought, but I just get this weird feeling she went from Conservative gal who was too un-P.C. to be a lawyer in D.C. to the Barbara Streisand of GOProud.
I don’t really care enough to look into it, but I wonder.
– Coulter moved sharply RINO Leftwards when Bummblefuck won. Simply a cynical carreer bokster. When she started doing things like the Bahar show I stopped paying her any attention.
