“Obama’s Enemies List” [bh]

… runs into the hundreds of millions, I assume.  However, it does appear that being towards the top of that list is even less fun than it is for the rest of us.

I imagine a Republican presidential candidate could do quite a bit to curtail these abuses by stating publicly that he will order the DOJ* to investigate all these complaints and to seek the maximum criminal penalties available should he win in November.  When I don’t hear such things, I take that silence to mean something.

Strassel’s earlier piece can be found here.

* The DOJ could use a good bleaching itself, of course.

185 Replies to ““Obama’s Enemies List” [bh]”

  1. George Orwell says:

    Bleaching… how racist.

Who knows if it will help with the fucking moron vote the fierce independent vote, but perhaps the Republicans had better start playing hardball too. Remember what happened to Jack Ryan when he ran against Obastard.

Punch back in kind, twice as hard.

  2. BigBangHunter says:

    – You’d like to think its all some sort of misunderstanding, that a sitting president would not lower himslf to abuse his powers or sully the image of the office he holds. You’d like to, but you’d have to be brain dead not to see clearly this assholes MO.

    – I’m to the point where I no longer care how it happrns, just as long as he is out of the Whitehouse.

    – Of course, most of those who died on 9/11 weren’t his, so why would he understand what an insult it is to those families. The great divider.

  3. BigBangHunter says:

    – And what makes it even nicer to have to swallow is knowing you’ll never see one fucking word of these abuses in the Pravda press.

  4. palaeomerus says:

Document them and send them to the Breitbart site.

  5. jcw46 says:

What’s this about Obama having an enema’s list?

We can’t afford sending the President of the United States all over the country giving enema’s to people.

Besides he isn’t qualified to do that job, it’s above his pay grade.

    We should let . . .

    *what?*

*It’s not an enema list it’s an enemies list?*

    Oh.

    NEVERMIND.

(I sure do miss Gilda Radner)

    Don’t give him ideas.

  8. Pablo says:

These assholes don’t do subtle, do they? If I’m VanDerSloot, I write Romney’s PAC another check. An even bigger one.

  9. Pablo says:

Remember what happened to Jack Ryan when he ran against Obastard.

Yeah, but Romney has never had kink that wasn’t in a hose.

Document them and send them to the Breitbart site.

    And Darrell Issa.

  10. geoffb says:

The DOJ could use a good bleaching itself, of course.

I think the entire bureaucratic apparatus needs to be some Hercules’ Augean stables.

  11. Ernst Schreiber says:

I’d love to see Romney pledge the complete cooperation of his administration with Issa’s investigation into fast and furious. I’d l0ve it all the Democrats burrowed, tick-like, into the DOJ bureaucracy were to suddenly learn that failure to cooperate was a career ender.

    Never gonna happen though.

  12. bh says:

OT: Give a thought to Ric at church tomorrow, folks.

  13. eCurmudgeon says:

What’s this about Obama having an enema’s list?

Just means you’re taking it in the behind one way or the other…

  14. palaeomerus says:

His enemies list is the 57 continental states, plus THIS one he’s in right now, and Alaska and Hawaii. For a total of 60! 60 running dog capitalist states in need of transformation change and possibly kinetic military action . AH AH AH AAAAH. (Lightning)

  16. tetrapod says:

    Is Obama a severe socialist?

  17. tetrapod says:

Or just a regular socialist, seeing as how he hasn’t actually nationalized any industries that I am aware of.

  18. leigh says:

Argh, nr. I was hoping against hope that BO would lay off the Ramalamdingdong stuff this year.

I wonder if we’ll get a Christmas message this year? For the inclusiveness.

  19. sdferr says:

“… seeing as how he hasn’t actually nationalized any industries that I am aware of.”

What, you haven’t heard Obama proclaim how he and he alone saved the auto industry by pouring tens and tens and tens of billions of dollars from the national treasury into the hands of the workers of the auto industry, which many tens upon tens of billions of dollars will never again return from the auto industry or its workers to the national treasury? Man, talk about severe.

  20. tetrapod says:

newrouter – there must be some muzzies you like.

Check out Saladin. Even the crusaders thought he was a stand-up guy.

  21. tetrapod says:

sdferr – you would rather have seen those jobs go to Asia so you could buy cheap cars at Wal-Mart?

  22. leigh says:

Walmart is the largest employer in the US outside the Federal Government. You’re being ridiculous.

  23. sdferr says:

I’d rather not see federal tax dollars go down the irrecoverable drain of bankrupt industry for the purpose of purchasing the votes of the particular interests so buoyed up, if that’s what you’re getting at imbecile.

  24. geoffb says:

This one has a actus-like sheep dip.

  25. newrouter says:

newrouter – there must be some muzzies you like.

muslims don’t bother me. islam is the religion of totalitarianism. nuke that sh&t.

  26. newrouter says:

you would rather have seen those jobs go to Asia so you could buy cheap cars at Wal-Mart?

you hate poor yellow peeps who work in factories?

  27. BT says:

Tetrapod a third of the cars GM makes are manufactured in China.

  28. tetrapod says:

    You’re being ridiculous.

    In what sense?

The six heirs to Sam Walton got rich because you will always buy crap made by Chinese Marxists.

  29. leigh says:

Why do you hate free trade, tetrapod?

  30. newrouter says:

you will always buy crap made by Chinese Marxists.

yea well this country bought crap from chitown marxists

  31. BT says:

And the heirs to Ray Kroc got rich because we like our hamburgers and fries consistently made. What’s your point?

  32. palaeomerus says:

“Check out Saladin. Even the crusaders thought he was a stand-up guy.”

1200 years back. So relevant. So witty.

  33. palaeomerus says:

    Oop.s 800 years back. The 1200’s.

  34. Pablo says:

Since when can I buy a car at Walmart?

Check out Saladin. Even the crusaders thought he was a stand-up guy.

Yeah, he’s the guy Saddam Hussein aspired to be.

  35. tetrapod says:

Why do you hate free trade, tetrapod?

    Nah, free trade is wonderful.

Let’s open up Cuba while we’re at it.

  36. palaeomerus says:

Make the labor too expensive in your country and SURPRISE! most of it will get done somewhere else. So raise the minimum wage, and watch more jobs wander off. Then start barking about protectionism. Great stuff. 1976 is BACK baby!

  37. palaeomerus says:

“Yeah, he’s the guy Saddam Hussein aspired to be.”

That’s kind of funny because ol’ Saladin was a Kurd.

  38. cranky-d says:

This one has a actus-like sheep dip.

I agree. After we see a few more tics we’ll know for sure.

  39. leigh says:

Why do you hate jobs? Many of the people in my small town work at Walmar when before, they were on benefits.

  40. newrouter says:

Let’s open up Cuba while we’re at it.

yea cuban health care is cutting edge.

  41. guinspen says:

Since when can I buy a car at Walmart?

They’re located two aisles over from the balloon fences.

  42. newrouter says:

Let’s open up Cuba while we’re at it.

so now you’re ok trading with marxist cubans?

  43. tetrapod says:

    palaeomerus –

    1200 years back

When the crusaders took Jerusalem, they slaughtered every man, woman and child.

Saladin did pretty much the opposite, though he did hold a few nobles for ransom.

  44. newrouter says:

Since when can I buy a car at Walmart?

it is aisle 16 next to the tonka trucks

  45. newrouter says:

When the crusaders took Jerusalem, they slaughtered every man, woman and child.

mo’ did that to the jews see Banu Qurayza

  46. newrouter says:

    tetrapod says

he’s an arsonist in a field of straw men

  47. sdferr says:

Most Cubans are likely non-Marxists, having lived under the thumb of an ignorant pretense of a Marxist dictatorship the better part of their lives. As it is, they’ve some work to do to liberate themselves from the plain old tyrannical dictatorship they still endure. For my own part, I wouldn’t quibble if the incoming Romney administration offered the Cuban people a little help ridding themselves of the Castro brothers and their cronies.

  48. serr8d says:

Let’s open up Cuba while we’re at it.

We tried. Fidel Castro is a 9-lives sort of Dirty Socialist.

  49. serr8d says:

When the crusaders took Jerusalem, they slaughtered every man, woman and child.

But your sort, Leftists, hold the undisputed prize for killings and slaughterings.

  50. BT says:

I personally wouldn’t have a problem lifting the embargo on Cuba.

  51. tetrapod says:

Fidel Castro is a 9-lives sort of Dirty Socialist.

So what. Think of all the Georgia Bulldog souvenirs they could make cheaper in Cuba.

  52. sdferr says:

So would you concomitantly be sanguine keeping the Castros in power BT? Well of course you would!

  53. leigh says:

I’m thinking it would make it much easier for you to visit your like minded brothers at Gitmo. They might open a Motel Seis.

  54. newrouter says:

So what. Think of all the Georgia Bulldog souvenirs they could make cheaper in Cuba.

    harvard alum trinkets too

  55. tetrapod says:

    serr8d –

    But your sort

Because an opinionated twitpic is always more accurate than historical records.

    Moron.

  56. palaeomerus says:

“When the crusaders took Jerusalem, they slaughtered every man, woman and child.”

Yep. So the fuck what? You hear what the Turks did to the Armenians? Or is that too recent for you?

” Saladin did pretty much the opposite, though he did hold a few nobles for ransom.”

Saladin gave them free passage and ships if they would leave. The Crusaders were mostly dead of dysentery at that point and had pulled back to small forts. Getting rid of them by letting them leave and giving them transportation that was easier than fighting the pitiful remnant.

Meanwhile look what was done to the Hagia Sophia after the fall of Constantinople and the founding of Istanbul some time. Sickening.

  57. BT says:

Geez sdferr why don’t youwrite my posts for me, you know my mind so well.

My position on the Castro’s is that time is not on their side.

And your position on the embargo is that any day now the Castros will be driven from power, cause it is working so well 50 years in. Right?

  58. tetrapod says:

So would you concomitantly be sanguine keeping the Castros in power BT? Well of course you would!

What’s the difference between them and Beijing?

  59. geoffb says:

You’re doing personal serr8d, I like by regime.

  60. tetrapod says:

The Crusaders were mostly dead of dysentery at that point and had pulled back to small forts. Getting rid of them by letting them leave and giving them transportation that was easier than fighting the pitiful remnant.

Which is central to my point…

  61. palaeomerus says:

“Because an opinionated twitpic is always more accurate than historical records.
    Moron.”

No, actual history is pretty much with Serr8d on this. The 20th century was a horrible loss of life despite being quite cushy for North America and the bulk of that life was taken by socialist governments who were culling opposition or in some cases eliminating mouths they could not feed.

  62. newrouter says:

What’s the difference between them and Beijing?

    castro™ and his legacy.

  63. palaeomerus says:

“Which is central to my point…”

Not really. In fact your gratuitous referencing Saladin doesn’t really even make a point.

  64. newrouter says:

Which is central to my point…

of excusing islam and that religion’s central point: totalitarian control.

  65. tetrapod says:

palaeomerus – google “central to my point”.

  66. palaeomerus says:

“palaeomerus – google “central to my point”.”

Try actually making a point first, then we’ll talk.

  67. bh says:

If I may — and I could be wrong — I think sdferr was being facetious by saying that it’s mutually exclusive to support the Castros and being willing to open trade, BT. I don’t think he was saying that needs to be the case.

Tonight’s troll was trying to paint it as such.

[Took out an unnecessary possessive apostrophe but wanted to leave a note so I could remember my lingering idiocy.]

  68. tetrapod says:

    castro™ and his legacy

You’re going to have to explain to me how the vestiges of Castro are worse than full-blown Marxist China with a centrally managed trade market.

  69. bh says:

It appears tonight’s noise-maker would like to speak about anything in the world but the linked piece. Saladin, China, Cuba, cars at Walmart, etc.

    Odd, that.

  70. geoffb says:

    He’s just a roamin’.

  71. leigh says:

    You’re a bit thick aren’t you?

China was opened up as a trading partner with the US by President Nixon as part of a strategic move on our part to not be completely blacked out of what China might be up in terms of arms, for one. Cuba is an island Tijuana, full of impoverished people who lash together makeshift boats to float to Florida where we give them refuge. Strategically there is nothing to be gained by trading with Cuba as there is with the Chinese.

Take some business classes in between Occupy the Student Union meet-ups.

  72. leigh says:

None of which has anything o do with the current president’s enemies list.

  73. tetrapod says:

bh – the linked piece was a load of horseshit.

It has as much relevance as a birther thread on Free Republic.

  74. newrouter says:

You’re going to have to explain to me how the vestiges of Castro are worse than full-blown Marxist China with a centrally managed trade market

dude china hasn’t been ” full-blown Marxist” since 1979. castro has been since 1959.

  75. bh says:

    Heh, leigh.

(Just to be clear, I’m not busting anyone’s balls about being off topic or smacking the troll around. I’ve made a regular practice of doing those very things for fun and entertainment myself. Just wanted to mention how I can understand why trollio had no desire to talk about the post instead of the wide selection of cars at Walmart.)

  76. tetrapod says:

China was opened up as a trading partner with the US by President Nixon as part of a strategic move on our part to not be completely blacked out of what China might be up in terms of arms, for one.

You’re saying Nixon went on an apology tour?

  77. leigh says:

Oh, I got you my brother from another mother. ;- )

  78. bh says:

    Troll says what?

  79. leigh says:

Where did I say that, tetrapod?

  80. tetrapod says:

    dude china hasn’t been ” full-blown Marxist” since 1979

Which begs the question: Is Barack Obama really a socialist, as y’all keep saying?

  81. newrouter says:

You’re saying Nixon went on an apology tour?

    intentionalism?

  82. B Moe says:

Which begs the question: Is Barack Obama really a socialist, as y’all keep saying?

    LOL!

  83. leigh says:

That’s not what “begging the question” means, Einstein.

    Google it.

  84. newrouter says:

Is Barack Obama really a socialist, as y’all keep saying?

is van jones a communist is bill ayers a terrorist? is ramadan an american thing up there with pork products?

  85. leigh says:

I’m making a ham for Ramadan. Y’all are invited.

  86. newrouter says:

    Which begs the question:

are you the “joker” looking for another “victim”?

  87. tetrapod says:

    intentionalism?

    Severe conservtive.

  88. BT says:

Anyone who says that the Steve’s didn’t start Apple, that the collective we did, would seem to lean that way.

  89. bh says:

Shit, I meant to say “oppose the Castros” up there, btw. I’m really on fire tonight.

  90. tetrapod says:

What I have learned: Obama is more Marxist than China.

    Because Walmart.

  91. leigh says:

Apple products are manufactured in China, btw.

Better get rid of that Iphone, Ipad and Ipod for the sake of consistency in that “cheap shit from China” argument.

  92. leigh says:

Obama is basically an idiot and a fraud.

  93. newrouter says:

Obama is more Marxist than China.

yea baracky is because you are static/statist in your “thinking”

  94. tetrapod says:

Apple products are manufactured in China, btw.

I’ve never owned any Apple products.

    Steve Jobs was a dick.

  95. palaeomerus says:

“You’re saying Nixon went on an apology tour?”

    Obama! Great like Nixon!

  96. palaeomerus says:

“I’ve never owned any Apple products.
    Steve Jobs was a dick.”

So is Bob Beckel. Ed Shultz and Chris Matthews are his two balls. Joe Biden is a scrote zit with a hair growing out of it.

  97. newrouter says:

Obama is more Marxist than China.

so is van jones, sunstein, anita dunn

  98. newrouter says:

I’ve never owned any Apple products.

    Steve Jobs was a dick.

    how about castro™ products?

  99. motionview says:

guinspen where have you been? I am perfectly receptive to a little doggerel for the next 23 minutes.

  100. tetrapod says:

Obama is basically an idiot and a fraud

Obama did exactly what he said would. He was elected during the worst financial crisis of the modern era.

Republicans did what they said they would do: fuck shit up to keep him from being re-elected.

    Enjoy your convention at Tampa.

  101. BT says:

I think Nixon went on a triangulation tour to create a crack in the Sino-Soviet Alliance.

    Obama killed Bin Laden.

Nixon created the EPA, the quota system and with Ted Kennedy almost implemented a National Healthcare Plan. In the end he was brought down by trying to protect underlings from a federal investigation.

Not sure where Fast and Furious leads, so Obama might have that in common with Nixon.

  102. BigBangHunter says:

    – Well you said rge magic word, “birther “, so a duck will come down and kick you in your Lefturd ass comrad.

  103. BT says:

Are the Dems still having their convention in Charlotte. I understand the RSVP’s are coming in very slowly.

  104. BigBangHunter says:

    – Nixon was a total idiot, where as Lord of the Unicorns can’t do anything right, even idiot.

  105. newrouter says:

Obama did exactly what he said would.

baracky told hillary he was against a health care mandate.

He was elected during the worst financial crisis of the modern era.

caused by frank, dodd, clinton, cuomo, holder, carter, fannie/freddie et al demonrats

Republicans did what they said they would do: fuck shit up to keep him from being re-elected.

yea the house of reps has so much power. keep smokin’ the sh*t dude

  106. palaeomerus says:

“Obama did exactly what he said would. He was elected during the worst financial crisis of the modern era.
Republicans did what they said they would do: fuck shit up to keep him from being re-elected.
    Enjoy your convention at Tampa.”

Well that’s just pure bullshit from top to bottom. I bet the dimmer Huffington kidz would just eat it up though.

  107. BigBangHunter says:

    – The Pravda media is trying to bolster interest by floating the lie that the “money is flooding in”. Of course it is. That’s why Bummblefuck is slated to do 750 fund raisers before the summers over.

  108. leigh says:

Republicans did what they said they would do: fuck shit up to keep him from being re-elected.

It’s not like he needed any help in the fucking shit up department, now did he?

  109. palaeomerus says:

” Are the Dems still having their convention in Charlotte. I understand the RSVP’s are coming in very slowly.”

Pelosi recently recommended that House and Senate members stay away from the Dem Convention and put all their energy into local campaigning just to hold on to their seats. More shellacking on the way.

  110. BT says:

I saw where he ran a deficit last month with his campaign.

    At least he is consistent.

  111. Jeff G. says:

tetrapod shared an IP with Conrad Hensley, whom last week I sent a little pic (courtesy of bh).

Seems he still can’t quit us.

Sad, but this seems to be his regular weekend routine, signing up with new email addresses using new names and trolling here. Guess his doll has a pinhole or something.

  112. BT says:

The House and Senate are important components of the halls of power.

  113. palaeomerus says:

Remember folks, if you don’t think a leftard is clever then you are a racist. QED

  114. BigBangHunter says:

“Guess his doll has a pinhole or something.”

    – Naw, if it did he’d be whacking his little weiny instead of getting his single brain cell beat in here.

  115. bh says:

    Worst hobby ever.

  116. leigh says:

Conrad Hensley. Is he the one who was going to make you cry like a bitch, Jeff?

    Oh, my sides.

  117. newrouter says:

The House and Senate are important components of the halls of power.

prez and senate trump the house

  118. BigBangHunter says:

    – November needs to trump Waffle ears and the Cynics.

  119. BigBangHunter says:

    – I loved it when Pill-old-bitch peed in ~O~’s post toasties the other day.

  120. newrouter says:

we need a trump birther thing

  121. leigh says:

    G’night everybody.

  122. BigBangHunter says:

    – Niters Leigh

  123. palaeomerus says:

Nah. Now that the Roberts court has transfomavision(TM) anything can be transformed into anything else.

  124. motionview says:

    The key finance story

President Obama outspent Mitt Romney 2 to 1 in June even as Mr. Romney far outraised him, according to campaign reports filed on Friday with the Federal Election Commission, leaving Mr. Obama and the Democratic Party with significantly less cash on hand than Mr. Romney and the Republicans as polls show a head-to-head race

2:1 spending, bullshit polls, and MBM fluffering are the only thing keeping Obama from the preference cascade.

  125. newrouter says:

the only thing keeping Obama from the preference cascade.

it already happened. that’s the cover up.

  126. dicentra says:

What I have learned: Obama is more Marxist than China.

We gots us a four-foooted leftie to play with?

Sweetie, a Marxist is someone who accepts Karl Marx’s doctrines as a whole or in significant part.

Please explain which of Marx’s core assumptions are not accepted by Obama and his cohort and show your work.

  127. bh says:

I wonder if people would enjoy a “rewrite RD’s comments” raffle or highest bid dealio as a companion to fundraisers. Could probably probably do it without much lag time.

  128. cranky-d says:

Our repeat troll is obviously a sad little man. I almost feel sorry for him.

  129. bh says:

Perhaps the idea might grow on people. Just get a kick out of the notion of a troll being forced into supporting the site against their will if they won’t go away.

  130. BigBangHunter says:

    – They’re just not making trolls the way they used to. Back in the day Thor would at least say something so stupid that sometines it was mildly amusing.

    – If this is the best they have to offer, arguing the pro’s and con’s of the crusades, or advancing on how badly misunderstood poor Castro was/is, we should demand our money back.

  131. BT says:

This might seem an impertinent question but why do you ( not you personally) want to run off folks with different points of view? I mean as long as they are civil and not making veiled threats what harm do they do?

I’m not sure what the negative side of this is. It brings eyeballs to the site, might bring in new regulars, tests your own thinking and increases traffic which somewhere down the line might help with the finances.

  132. bh says:

People who want to destroy our republic should never be described as civil, BT. That’s the very perversion of the meaning.

That aside this one has a history here.

  133. BT says:

So in your republic, it is your way or the highway?

  134. bh says:

    Think before you speak, BT.

  135. bh says:

Do you really want me to answer that or do you want to give some further thought to the meaning of “civil” and your lazy, reflexive use of an empty cliche?

  136. BT says:

Look BH we are just having a conversation.
I don’t see how a Zakriel has the power to destroy our republic. What he has are ideas that conflict with the general consensus of opinions in here. I am not sure why that is perceived as a danger. If it is.

  137. bh says:

Nah, I don’t feel much like talking with you, BT.

You’re too passive aggressive with all the shit you put out there.

My way or the highway. Run off folks with different views. Perceived as a danger.

Sorry, I read at an adult level and you’ve been dropping massive passive aggression for awhile now.

Say it if you want to say it.

  138. BT says:

Thank you for your time BH.

  139. bh says:

I’d like to not only thank you for your time but also wish a good tomorrow.

  140. JHoward says:

you will always buy crap made by Chinese Marxists.

Chinese capitalists make stuff. Chinese Marxists steal 95% of it.

  141. JHoward says:

an opinionated twitpic is always more accurate than historical records.

    Historical records
    .

  142. JHoward says:

What’s the difference between [Havana] and Beijing?

We already have free trade with China. If by free trade you mean a rigged currency. Or two.

  143. Pablo says:

an opinionated twitpic is always more accurate than historical records.

Opinions are facts the proggbot doesn’t like.

  144. geoffb says:

    JHo,

I linked that at 9:02 pm and he ignored it as the left always does anything that doesn’t match their reality template.

  145. McGehee says:

Obama did exactly what he said would. He was elected during the worst financial crisis of the modern era.

The worst financial crisis since the Renaissance????

I guess the Great Depression must have happened in the 1400s…

  146. McGehee says:

…and it’s funny how proggies like the tetra-head don’t mind being China, they just don’t want to do business with China.

We have always been at war with Eastasia.

  147. JD says:

The MFM will start covering this any moment now. Imagine if Buyuuuuush had done this.

  148. guinspen says:

    Sure, 1400 Pennsylvania.

  149. leigh says:

    JD! Where have you been?

  150. JD says:

Lurking. I read daily. Just have not commented much.

The Trolls are getting increasingly agitated, at many places. See JD’s 1st Rule of Trolls, and the 2nd Restatement of same.

  151. JD says:

Bh blew me off last weekend at Ironman. ;-)

  152. BigBangHunter says:

    – The last month was not a complete loss for Waffle ears. At least he scored the coveted Chavez endorsement.

  153. sdferr says:

“The Trolls are getting increasingly agitated

  154. serr8d says:

JD inna HOUSE! Good to see ya, man!

  155. serr8d says:

    serr8d –

    But your sort

Because an opinionated twitpic is always more accurate than historical records.

    Moron.

C’mon, bitch! I’m not a lefty; you’re gonna have to do a lot better than that to offend me!

  156. BigBangHunter says:

    – Someone else is agitated.

  157. serr8d says:

If Holmes was sent into the general jail population, “he won’t live to see Monday’s court appearance,” Danilov said.

Methinks Mr. Joker doesn’t have the support of his fellow baddies.

So, open all the doors. Save us lots of taxpayer monies.

  158. serr8d says:

ooops, refresh next time more quickly I’m thinking!

  159. BigBangHunter says:

    – The file on this dude is starting to bulk up. I read somewhere he took a grueling test in compitition with 5 others candidates for grant extensions on his scholarship about a month and a half ago.

    – The University is not saying anything, but apparently things did not go well. Another case of the world not recognizing his brilliance?

    – Spitting and acting out to lay the groundwork for an insanity plea?

    – He may be as looney as a junkyard rat, but its clear from all his actions so far he doesn’t want to die.

  160. serr8d says:

He may be as looney as a junkyard rat, but its clear from all his actions so far he doesn’t want to die.

He’d already be dead if not given protections by the jailers. Ironic, in’it?

  161. BigBangHunter says:

    – Heres an update, including a video of him when he was 18, attending a science camp.

  162. bh says:

Oh, hey, I forgot to ask you how you did in the race, JD.

  163. BigBangHunter says:

    – Pardon for going off topic bh, but this seems to be the current thread.

  164. bh says:

    No worries, BBH.

  165. sdferr says:

Heh, we’ve hardly ever been on topic this thread. Partly, I think, because the thesis and its prospects are so daunting, hence depressing, and who wants to make talk into depression?

  166. serr8d says:

bbh’s video link… “Temporal illusions” (time travel) and an avid gamer. I’ll be he wishes someone would pull him out of the matrix right about now.

  167. LBascom says:

I mean as long as they are civil and not making veiled threats what harm do they do?

Geez BT, you’re not new. Are you experiencing memory loss?

Here’s one for you. What is the upside to letting trolls dissemble, distract, and insult?

It brings eyeballs to the site? How does that work?

Might bring in new regulars? Thor, RD, and the rest have driven away regulars, not brought new ones.

Tests your own thinking? Through distraction, lies, strawmen, and willful ignorance?

Increases traffic which somewhere down the line might help with the finances? Again, how does a troll increase traffic?

This ain’t 2006 no more, the times have changed. Best try and keep up.

  168. serr8d says:

That’s good stuff, leigh. Funniest thing I’ve read all month.

  169. serr8d says:

If it’s trolls one wants to engage, go dip into #p2 #ConnectTheLeft #StopRush #FORWARD #Election2012. Sadly, #WiUnion just isn’t what it used to be. )

  170. JD says:

Bh – finished. Close to my goal. Pretty tough conditions. Hot, and headwinds.

  171. BigBangHunter says:

    – Heres what you can expect from the cult of the caring Lefturds. T-shirts with “Holmes Rocks!!!’ with his Joker red haired nug on them. Watch for it.

    – Anything to piss off decent society.

  172. palaeomerus says:

They’ll probably have a t-shirt with an undead Charleton Heston handing James Holmes an AR-15 Shotgun and a Gluck from the fires of Hell and saying “Go get ’em Joker! It’s your constitutional right”.

They have no shame. They think shame is YOUR problem.

  173. palaeomerus says:

“- He may be as looney as a junkyard rat, but its clear from all his actions so far he doesn’t want to die.”

I reckon the vast majority of people he was shooting at in that theatre feel (or felt) pretty much the same way about dying.

  174. palaeomerus says:

“I linked that at 9:02 pm and he ignored it as the left always does anything that doesn’t match their reality template.”

Yeah well he’s aware of the no true scotsman defense and the where there is smoke there is fire offense.

See, all Christians are just like the Crusaders. Because they are. History and shit.

All muslims are like Saladin. Because it pisses people who know better off, it must be true. That’s why the Sudan is such a nice place to live for non-muslims.

But, just because a government calls itself socialist, and based their very fabric on socialism, and people insisted LOUDLY that they were loyal socialists on pain of prison or worse, doesn’t mean it WAS a socialist system. That’s unsophisticated. You have to look at this narrative with nuanced eyes. You can’t call people like Stalin, Pol Pot, or Mao socialists. Just because. That’s why. Fuck ’em if they said different in books banners, policies, etc. Fuck any history that says they were socialist.

Obama did everything he said he would! Fuck history and video clips if they say different. Gitmo is still open? Fuck that! Republicans! And the most transparency ever in government? Except for executive privilege on anything related to Fast and Furious? No real documentation of his academic career? No info on how Solyndra happened? Surgical executive driven bankruptcy agreements? Selective enforcement of the law under discression? An AG in contempt of congress? Are the seas really lower?

Republicans screwed things up and continue to screw things up. Fuck history if it says different. Fuck the last three and a half years. Republicans did that, even though they had NO power until a year and a half ago and haven’t got anything passed since they gained the house. Obama’s policies must work because if they don’t then republicans somehow kept them from working. And Obama’s policies probably kept everything from getting even worse or something.

  175. Jeff G. says:

Why would I run off such a civil person who suggests I’ve made up my entire family and family life, and who has in the past, after several comments setting it up, moved on to call us racists while himself engaging in a li’l lefty-approved anti-semitism? All while letting, say, Zachriel stick around, as daft and unpersuasive as his arguments are?

I mean, it’s not like I’ve had threats against my family, or gone to court to stop serial harassment, right? What would I know about trolls and how to handle them?

  176. geoffb says:

CYBERSECURITY: Privacy advocates satisfied with Lieberman’s cybersecurity rewrite. “The revised Lieberman bill narrows the definition of what can be shared and requires that any information shared with the government must go to civilian, not military, agencies. The privacy groups argue that the legislation should not empower the CIA and the National Security Agency (NSA) to collect Americans’ personal computer information. The bill also dictates that the information can only be used for addressing cybersecurity threats and not other purposes, such as national security or criminal investigations.”

Everybody who trusts Obama’s civilian agencies more than the military raise your hand. Now who still believes that the Obama administration will follow the letter and/or the spirit of any law let’s see those hands. What, no up-twinkles anywhere?

Just as with gun laws, criminals, by definition don’t follow the rules but depend on all others doing so inside the victim disarmament zones.

  177. guinspen says:

    1400 Pennsylvania

    Blast.

    Marked down from 1600.

  178. McGehee says:

It’s doing better than some stocks I could name.

  179. Crawford says:

This might seem an impertinent question but why do you ( not you personally) want to run off folks with different points of view?

Because for 20+ years I’ve tried to have a civil discussion with lefties, and it always comes back to them declaring I’m an evil, corrupt person. More often than not, they LEAD with that assertion, END with that assertion, and the SUM AND TOTAL of all their arguments is that assertion.

Fuck ’em. I’m sick of the lot. They can grow up or they can go to hell.

  180. McGehee says:

Because for 20+ years I’ve tried to have a civil discussion with lefties, and it always comes back to them declaring I’m an evil, corrupt person.

When I was in college I out-argued a lefty and got called a “friendly fascist” for it.

The gal that was with him during the conversation looked embarrassed.

  181. sdferr says:

We can almost confidently assert that for contemporary leftists fascism and fascists were never actual political positions or persons acting on those. At least we’ll be odds on correct about the vast majority of the cases of leftists we encounter. Too, we may surmise, somewhere along the way mirrors have been banned from public discourse.
