“Unemployment Rose in 27 States In June”

…And if all goes as planned for Obama and the socialist left, they should have that figure rising in all 57 states by next February — and a bunch of new taxes to make sure they continue rising forever!

Because Bush!

Forward!

    – I saw something yesterday that said its at 10% now in New York.

  2. BigBangHunter says:

    – The Left was hoping they could cook the numbers and make it appear as if it was falling as we got closer to the election, but its so fucking bad, (everyone knows its more like 12% minimally, and as high as 18-25% depending on area and demographic), that even with every trick they can use they can’t get it down.

    – The only possible help they will get is holiday temp work, and thats not enough or in time.

    – Wait until the next release and watch Unicorn herders numbers.

its at 10% now in New York.

NYC, the State of New York is 8.9% overall.

  7. EVL29 says:

    all 57 states

Technically speaking,it should be all 58 States.

We’ve been to,I think,57 States with one more to go.

  8. BigBangHunter says:

    – He didn’t really say that, what he was saying was nuanced beyound you bitter-clingers ability to understand and…… well……raaaaaaacist.

  9. Caecus Caesar says:

Second hand books, second hand clothes.

That’s why they call me, Unemployment Rose.

  10. BigBangHunter says:

    – Actually I was half expecting the Lefturds would try to run that one. Twisting the whole thing to the fact that we do have 50 states, 6 protectorates, and ome territorial consulate protectorate, but apparently none of the poli-sci’s in Buttheads cabinate had that class in US politics 101.

  11. leigh says:

Did he ever actually fill his cabinet or is still full of Czars and recess appointments?

  12. BigBangHunter says:

    – I don’t think they’re even paying any atention to anything having to do with Washington right now. They seem to be totally focused on the 500 fund raisers. They are really panicky that he’ll be outspent by Mittens.

  13. Squid says:

Unemployment up; sales down. Inventories up; production down. Food prices up; supplies down. Commodities up; fiat currencies down.

Good thing we’ve got a lunatic on a shooting spree. Otherwise people might notice just how deeply Obama is burying us all.

  14. BigBangHunter says:

    – I agree with Leigh. The Wonce probably views this as a chance to get off the treadmill for a spell.

  15. BigBangHunter says:

    – Its interesting to see the comments of the true believers in response to the Ross thing.

    – Man, can these dodo birds ever contemporise.

    – Whenever their side gets caught red handed they are all “civility, and understanding, and soft peddling”.

  16. Squid says:

I’m pleased to say that Minnesota is bucking the trend, and actually added 7,200 jobs last month. Of course, 4,400 of them were in government.

Still, given that our labor force is 3 million, I suppose a gain of 2,800 is something to brag about. At this rate, we should reach full employment sometime around King Barry Hussein’s 200th term!

  17. BigBangHunter says:

    – Actually Squid, it takes 150,000 jobs a month added, just to keep up with population growth, so at the rate we’re going 200 won’t be enough stimulations.

    – Of course I’m not factoring in your Pitchfork corp.

  18. leigh says:

That’s corpse. The preezy says so.

  19. BigBangHunter says:

    – Thats not my corpse. Sombody else did that.

  20. John Bradley says:

Did he ever actually fill his cabinet or is still full of Czars and recess appointments?

Paraphrasing Geraghty, Treacher, Taranto, or one of them, upon the news that the Secy. of Commerce had stroked-out and killed someone with his car (or whatever): “I follow politics 24/7, and here we are 3 1/2 years into an administration, and I didn’t even know we had a Secretary of Commerce.”

  21. palaeomerus says:

You didn’t make that stimulus bill a law. Somebody else did that.

  22. leigh says:

Thanks, John. I’m with Taranto or whomever. I had no idea who that guy was.

  23. Pablo says:

BTW, you’re all going to die.

Some excellent advice there, worth taking to heart.

  24. Merovign says:

    Work requirements eliminated.

Applicants stop officially looking for work.

Fake Unemployment statistics stop counting them.

Fake Unemployment figures go down, just in time for the election.

Obama says you should be thanking him – tell him somebody else built that house of cards.

  25. palaeomerus says:

Dear Mr. Ebert, as your recent, unpopular, sophomoric diatribe about how video games can’t be art should have reminded you, it would be best for all concerned if you were to kindly shut the fuck up when not telling us what movies you like and don’t like as that is your soul area of expertise and interest to the public. No one desires or values your ignorant leftist toady perspective on public safety policy or constitutional law. Nor should they. You are not remotely bright enough to be a significant influence in such things merely because a massacre happened at the movies and you review movies. That is why you are in the rather harmless and simple business of critiquing entertainment media as a matter of offering some measure of “take it or leave it” consumer advice.

Note that guns were already forbidden legally on the premises. Note that cocaine, heroine, marihuana, and other drugs are similarly legally forbidden. And yet they are easy to find a huge business. Likewise prohibition did not end drinking. Your muddle headed view that we need more and harsher laws to prevent already illegal acts, in the face of overwhelming evidence that bans don’t actually stop possession or trafficking of a restricted commodity, is positively childlike. Taking guns away from law abiding citizens will NOT take them away from those who ignore the law anymore than a law forbidding murder or possession of weapons at a movie theater prevented those criminal acts.

Such an idiotic point of view must be founded in a stubborn denial of reality and a desire to see life work in some pastoral cosmic harmony as is often found in juvenile fiction. Everything has a place and a purpose and prudence is always rewarded and people are nice to you if you are nice to them. These rules do not apply so perfectly in real life. That is why your intuitive outrage on this issue cannot be taken seriously as a guide for future action that will negatively impact honest law abiding people’s lives. You cannot put a genie back into its bottle and return to life as it was before it came out. Life is not a movie, Mr. Ebert, and that’s why your stuffed up opinion of it how it ought to work does NOT matter.

In case you hadn’t noticed, massacres are already illegal.

  26. palaeomerus says:

Well this posted to the wrong thread somehow. Weird.

  27. LBascom says:

BTW, you’re all going to die.

That was a good video, to a point. The man was more talking about battle between forces than what would be the reality for most though, I think. If the lights go out, Most will be dealing with criminals, looters and the like. If you’re in an urban area, mobs. None of those are what he’s talking, for the most part.

However…there was real good advice on the perspective of the thing. Avoid a battle if possible, be mean, dirty, and ruthless if not. Serviceability of the weapon is more important than style, and familiarity more important than the size of your collection.

    Good stuff.
