For those who may have missed it

Non-racist George Zimmerman’s interview with Sean Hannity:

That we’ve seen a race-pimping / overzealous prosecutorial cabal aimed at creating some sort of symbol at the expense of man’s life and reputation is so repulsive to me that I haven’t any words, really.

Al Sharpton and his like deserve the same kinds of misery to befall them that they so routinely and cavalierly subject others to. And the Republican prosecutor in Florida should be run out of office on a rail and made to live without the kind of power she recklessly uses and I’m sure has abused just as blatantly in the past, when the national spotlight wasn’t upon her.

YMMV.

Angela Corey is probably bitter because when people ask her for her autograph, they’re always disappoined when it doesn’t say “H. R. Pufnstuf”.

Or am I the only one who sees a resemblance?

Rick Scott needs to grow a pair and fire her.

This unfortunate incident has snowballed to the point that no matter the outcome, there will be looting, rioting and fires.

If acquitted, I hope George Zimmerman sues Corey, the judge who refuses to recuse himself and the state of Florida for all they’re worth.

The 71 yr old concealed-permit holder who shot up (down?) two youts robbing a Florida establishment — including shooting them from behind as they fled outside — is probably w/i his rights under Florida’s stand your ground statute.

    Compare and contrast.

Angela Corey, Crystal Mangum and Mike Nifong are starting a business, “While-U-Wait Framing and Strip Club.”

  5. Niedermeyers Dead Horse says:

Jeff, our local independent rag has been after her for some time now but not many here paid them any attention. They, like the National Enquirer, may strike gold every now and then but, typically, their product is cage liner.

Corey was very popular here in Jax due to her tough-on-crime stance and many, including me, cheered her selection as SP for the Zimmerman case, i.e., If Zimmerman is released, nobody can say it was at the hands of someone weak on crime. Now, reading back over the original ‘hit piece’ on Corey, I’m seeing it in a different light. Worse, her reaction to that piece is very telling of a woman with what appears to be a severe streak of narcissism and, perhaps, a touch of sadism: Bitter, bitter, bitter and very thin-skinned to boot.

Here are two pieces on her: The first the original ‘hit piece’ an the second her reaction to that piece.

    Enjoy.

    – Things are getting tough for the Sharpton race scam clan these days, so they can’t let a good opportunity to stir up the shit go by. And of course, the ‘community’ is ever ready and willing to ‘stick it to the man’ on the slightest premise.

Oh, and let’s not forget her temper tantrum in calling Harvard and demanding that Alan Dershowitz be fired for daring to question her methods.

A friend in Governor Scott’s office told me that they’ve been getting huge amounts of complaints about her, mostly via email. Scott’s aware of the problem but my friend said he’ll probably just let things play out, rather than replace her. As Niedermeyer mentioned, she had a pretty decent reputation before this but I suspect she thinks this is the moment where she’ll be in the spotlight and she has to milk to parlay it into future economic opportunities (book deals, tv interviews, politics)
