Convicting Scooter Libby for having a different memory than Tim Russert (but not for being the source of any leak)?

Justice! — and “a harsh indictment of the inner workings” of the Bush White House.

Whereas a Congressional panel holding AG Holder in contempt for lying and stonewalling the investigation of a federal operation that led to a number of deaths, including to US Border Patrol agents?

A witch hunt. By witch huntery racists looking to hunt witches.

And Colin Powell, Jeb Bush, and the rest of the conciliation and civility crowd want conservatives to compromise with these cynical, immoral vultures on the left?

Fuck that, and fuck them. All.

    memory lane

In 1998, the House Government Reform and Oversight Committee voted to cite Reno for contempt of Congress for not turning over documents during the impeachment of President Bill Clinton.[12] The full House of Representatives never voted on the resolution and the documents were turned over to the House

Colin Powell is a whore bereft of honor but Mr. Jeb is just a garden variety whore I think, albeit on the chubby side.

Well he was with Bush. So he was guilty.

That is how things work in DC.

I can remember when witch hunts were bad because they tended to catch people that weren’t really witches. Now they’re bad because they actually do catch witches.

team r should be telling us about how many mexicans were killed by holder’s guns.

  9. RI Red says:

nr, if team R knows what it’s doing (big if), every freakin’ R in the Senate and House will be interviewed by their local paper and TV in the next few days and pounding that point home: “Holder forced American gun stores to sell guns to Mexican drug cartels and so far they have killed two American LEOs and scores of innocent Mexican nationals.”

Arguing the sweet science is “plagued” by “fraud, corruption and ineffective regulation,” Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) is proposing a United States Boxing Commission with the power to determine who judges and referees major fights.
McCain co-introduced the legislation Monday with Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (both men were amateur boxers in their younger years).

I hereby declare that June is National “Senators should just shut the fuck up for a while!” month.

Harry Reid was a boxer!? Damn, I can’t look at the guy without thinking, that sperm won?

    Imagine the other one.

Substitute “U.S. Senate” for “sweet science” as needed.

  17. Slartibartfast says:

Wait…they’re saying, what? Holder is…a black guy?

    Who knew? Or cared?

  18. Matt says:

Its too bad Scooter Libby wasn’t black – he may have gotten a pass. And pretty sure Colin Powell hasn’t been a conservative in a long time. I always had a sense that he took alot of the “Uncle Tom” talk from his people to heart and race became more important to him then principles.

    Harry Reid was a boxer!?

I would’ve guessed lhasa apso, or maybe bichon frise.
