“WaPo says Obama’s massive primary fail is ‘racism'”

Filthy, unreconstructed Southern redneck bigotry, is what it is. Though the polished redneck hordes have learned to keep it better hidden. Naturally.

And here you thought you could escape the legacy of Bull Connor merely by voting Democrat faithfully.

Suckers.

And here you thought you could escape the legacy of Bull Connor merely by voting Democrat faithfully.

    But wait — wasn’t Bull Connor a …?

Oh! I see what you did there.

The elite contempt for the ordinary voter in both parties is truly something.

  3. JHoward says:

Come on people; 2008 voters went for the articulate, uncolored constitutional professor. 2012 voters are all about race.

    Here in Barry’s post-racial America.

  4. DarthLevin says:

The elite bicoastal contempt for the ordinary heartland voter in both parties is truly something.

    Applies equally, I think.

  5. palaeomerus says:

So Obama turned the country towards racism ? He made us MORE racist? Do we really NEED a guy like that? Maybe we’ve bet better off if he got sent back to Chicago with his ideas discredited this fall (actually January)?

  6. mojo says:

And that, of course, is one of the reasons that the WaPo is circling the drain.

  7. Abe Froman says:

I’d suggest that racism has more to do with his continued support than the growing opposition. Mindless tribal black support and urban white liberal “poor negro” pity support are about all he has left aside from the organized labor morons who just do as they’re told.

…urban white liberal “poor negro” pity support…

You just don’t understand the SWPL burden, man.

I guess the story of the boy who cried “wolf” didn’t really take in their infantile minds.

  10. RI Red says:

And that means figuring out how much of the anti-Obama vote in these southern and Appalachian state primaries is directly attributable to racism simply can’t be done. It’s a tough answer but the right one.
In other words, it can’t be shown, but we know we are right.

So I’m reading this in the morning while my breakfast is cooking on the stove and I’m not really awake yet and it goes like this.

“WaPo says Obama’s massive primary fail is ‘racism’”

That’s for sure. Hey wait, WaPo’s admitting this? When he’s even losing WaPo it must be bad, I see they can’t quite get themselves to say it outright and have to put quotes around ‘racism’.

Filthy, unreconstructed Southern redneck bigotry, is what it is. Though the polished redneck hordes have learned to keep it better hidden. Naturally.

Huh? What? Hover over link because I can’t bring myself to click on a link to the WaPo without checking it first, “whats-the-matter-with-kentucky”. Kentucky? What’s Kentucky got to do with anything? I thought this was a link to an article about Obama’s primary massive failing being racism.
    Oh.
    Primary.
    Oh.
    Nevermind.

    I think I’m awake now.

And here you thought you could escape the legacy of Bull Connor merely by voting Democrat faithfully.

See what you did there Jeff.

    Suckers.

Click on Wizbang link, get breakfast, eat read, and confirm to myself that I didn’t wake up in some alternate reality.

Anyway, thanks Jeff for that moment of pure surreality.

  13. JohnInFirestone says:

In a potentially closely contested presidential election the Democrat slogan is going to be “Vote for me, you racist rednecks”? Somebody (Geraghty?) pointed out O has NOTHING in common with conservative Dems in southern states, which is going to KILL him in the general.

  14. motionview says:

Not racism. A back-lash against deporting illegal aliens.

  15. B Moe says:

People in Appalachia don’t like to be mocked for their love of God, Guns and country, and they realize coal is the backbone of their economy.

It is a wonder Obama gets as much support as he does there.
