Obama not doing so well in states he probably can’t win anyway

— Kinda the opposite of Romney’s primary performances, if you think about it — he soared in states he’s unlikely to win in the general election, and floundered in the red states — but I suppose that’s a horse that’s already left the barn.

Let’s just hope that Democrat disgruntlement is more powerful than Republican disgruntlement come November. Or that, as would happen in a healthy society, everybody decided to stay home election day to express utter contempt for what has become a broken system run by corrupt power brokers on behalf of attractive puppets.

I’m putting my Christmas funds into InTrade, short-selling Obama. Selling at close to $6, and buying at zero? Good investment, I’d say.

And if I’m wrong — if the country should be fooled by the threats and lies and double-down on suicidal stupidity — well, there really won’t be any reason for a big Christmas celebration anyway. I mean, the Occupiers would just storm the house and redistribute the gifts to more worthy recipients. And who wants to spend Boxing Day locked up for shooting a bunch* of foul-smelling trust-fund hippies Obama’s Little Elves?

    * What is the collective noun for a bunch of elves? Or a bunch of Occupiers?

How can Obama’s struggles in this year’s primaries not be a news story of at least equal magnitude to the New Hampshire primary that drove Lyndon Johnson from the presidency?

Ummm. Maybe because Obama is still winning by a 3-2 margin, unlike Johnson who failed to break 50% in New Hampshire? Also, Obama isn’t gnawed by self-doubt. Of that we may be sure.

Oh yeah, one more thing. Today’s media? Run by the same kind of people who drove Johnson from office. And Obama’s one of them.

RI, apologies for the delay, but my computer seized (keeled over? melted-down? died an expected death? some one or all of these. heh) last night as I was preparing to get back to you. Working through an ancient dinosaur mac right now, so it’ll be awhile before I recover the files and e-mail service necessary to carry on. Anyhow, apologies, again.

Hippies with trust funds are referred to as Trustafarians in my circle of wags.

sdferr, that’s fine. I doubt I’ll get through it in one sitting. Maybe one year of sitting.
BTW, mc/mv/all, Flashback is Teh Awesome. Halfway through and I’m reaching for the hemlock. Straight line from here to there on our present course. No linky, running out door.

Its like holding up a mirror RNC/CND. Maybe Darleen can come up with a cartoon of either or tiying their tie in front of a mirror reflection of the other.
