Uncle Tom Watch [Darleen Click]

Zimmerman is white, Warren is a woman of color and these guys are not really black:

Thomas Sowell

What the authorities and the media seem determined to suppress is that the hoodlum elements in many ghettoes launch coordinated attacks on whites in public places. If there is anything worse than a one-sided race war, it is a two-sided race war, especially when one of the races outnumbers the other several times over.

It may be understandable that some people want to head off such a catastrophe, either by not reporting the attacks in this race war, or by not identifying the race of those attacking, or by insisting that the attacks were not racially motivated — even when the attackers themselves voice anti-white invective as they laugh at their bleeding victims.

Trying to keep the lid on is understandable. But a lot of pressure can build up under that lid. If and when that pressure leads to an explosion of white backlash, things could be a lot worse than if the truth had come out earlier, and steps taken by both black and white leaders to deal with the hoodlums and with those who inflame them.

here is a very on-topic comment from Mr. Steve

  2. leigh says:

    Darleen,

I’ve been keeping tabs on the coming race war for about 20 years. All Dr. Sowell says is true and that is just the tip of the iceberg. There is a lot of good literature about this topic, both by black and white authors, as well as the usual screeds by grievance committees.

  3. pdbuttons says:

    All cars weigh the same

  4. Ernst Schreiber says:

Unfortunately, those who inflame the hoodlums and the leaders expected to take the steps to deal with them (hoodlums and inflamers alike) are too often one and the same.

  5. mc4ever59 says:

Thomas Sowell is a national treasure.
The population of the U.S. is 2/3 white. And more than a few are not at all like the meek, namby pamby creatures usually depicted in the media.

  6. leigh says:

This isn’t a false equivelancy, just an observation and juxtapostition:

12.3% of the nation are persons who identify as black. >64% identify as white/hispanic. 4% identify as Asian. > 1% identify as Native American. (Figures not exact.)

1% of females identify as lesbian. 2% of males identify as gay.

So hate crimes legislation? Sounds plausible on paper until we learn other groups who do not identify as black are excluded and that whites are victims of black on white crime in an exponential manner.

Gay marriage amendment? Of the total 3% of the poopulation, let’s assume perhaps a third of those, most likely less, think this is a “right”.

Which issue is getting more attention and why?

In the meantime, kids are going barefoot and eating minute rice for supper. Unemployment (reported) is stuck at 8.2%. Gas hovers at $3.50. New cars are over $40K. Financing is impossible to get for anything.

How important in the scheme of things is a Trayvon Martin or whether Adam and Steve can pledge their love?

  7. leigh says:

poopulation = hilarious typo. It was a mistake, really!

  8. mc4ever59 says:

It’s the big elephant in the room, Leigh. Only this one comes with an 800 lb gorilla, jumping up and down on it screaming “RACSISTS!!”
    And ‘poopulation’ works just fine.

  9. leigh says:

Let ’em jump up and down. If they’re going to act like toddlers, they should be treated like toddlers. Think of those stints in the pokey for stabbing/shooting/raping another person as an extended time-out.

I think all of us are damned sick of being called “racist”. It’s time we turned a collective stone-face to the accusers and say “Is that all ya got?”

  10. mc4ever59 says:

    I’ve read that whenever a lefty would make some such charge or indictment of Breitbart, he would look at them and calmly reply;
    “So?”
I’ve heard this would derail their train of thought every time.

  11. mc4ever59 says:

That would be ‘racist’. Sorry. I’m a slow typist of the 2 fingered variety. When I try to type faster, I often hit more than one key at a time with my thick fingers.
I hope cranky-d doesn’t notice. He’ll hunt me down and make me give handjobs to badgers.

  12. leigh says:

    Heh.

That reminds me of when Penthouse decided to run a bunch of nekkid photos of Madonna (taken when she was po’ in NYC) when her star was really taking off. Asked by breathless reporters: “What do you have to say about these terrible awful no good photos?” She replied “So what?”

    And the rest is history.

  13. Squid says:

1% of females plus 2% of males does not equal 3% of all population.

    Math is hard.

  14. cranky-d says:

I don’t care about regular misspelling. Everyone does that. I care about systematic abuse of the language. If I see the same word misspelled by many people over and over again, or some error in using an apostrophe from the same person over and over again (yes, I notice this), then I take umbrage.

Sure, it’s my problem and not any of yours, but I’m going to make it your problem as well. I’m a giver.

  15. mc4ever59 says:

Depends on what the meaning of the word ‘is’ is.

  16. cranky-d says:

    1+2=3.

    Seems simple to me.

  17. mc4ever59 says:

    Good morning, cranky-d !
Keep doing what you do. I for one appreciate a friend who will point out and correct my shortcomings. It keeps me from making an ass out of myself so much.

  18. leigh says:

If only we had an edit feature, cranky-d could sleep well at night and the rest of us who just typed up a screed won’t hit “post” and think “Argh! That’s not the way to spell _____!!”

  19. Ernst Schreiber says:

    1% of 50% plus 2% of 50% equals 3% of 500%!

  20. leigh says:

It’s a little harder than that, since females are approximately 51+% of the population. However, I did make a math mistake. My apologies.

  21. leigh says:

Donna Summer dead at 63. RIP, Donna.

  22. mc4ever59 says:

Wow! She was one of my favorites back in the day.
I’m off to do grocery shopping. Just like sticking pins in my eyes, only more fun! Catch you all later.

  23. TRHein says:

I have admired Thomas Sowell for quite some time. I am not sure what the attached video has to do with Mr. Sowell’s piece but it does fit rather nicely in an “it’s about the money” kind of way.

Donna – Love to love you baby! RIP

Cranky – stop worrying about spell check, you’ll sleep much better

  24. happyfeet says:

i hate it when donna summer dies

  26. motionview says:

The racial percentage numbers are obtuse; the Census Bureau needs to be reset completely. The problem was that Hispanic is not a race; most Hispanics identify as white. But when you want to be able to write things like this

After years of speculation, estimates and projections, the Census Bureau has made it official: White births are no longer a majority in the United States.

it only works right now if you invent the non-Hispanic White race.

Non-Hispanic whites accounted for 49.6 percent of all births in the 12-month period ….

  27. leigh says:

mv, sometimes words of wisdom come from the most obscure places. For instance, I was tidying up my kitchen last Saturday and sort of listening to The Real Housewives of New Jersey on the teevee when Caroline Manzo (whose husband is kind of a Tony Soprano) said apropos of a beef she was having with another housewife, “We’re not 50% Italian or 25% Italian or Italian-American: We’re Americans! Get ovah it!”

  28. TRHein says:

    Leigh…

That is so 19th century thinking. 20th even!

  29. TRHein says:

    Darth? What is twitter?

  30. leigh says:

I love Caroline, she’s a real broad. I mean that in the Frank Sinatra sense. She lives to take care of her “fam-lee”, keeps an immaculate house, loves her husband and three grown kids and will cut a bitch if anyone looks at them cross-eyed or worse says bad shit about them.

She’s like a female Don Corleone. Respect.

  31. TRHein says:

Caroline? I am at a loss regarding the reference. Mae West… now there’s a gal!

  32. leigh says:

One of the Real Housewives in my post at 11:28. My dad always calls me a broad. I take it as a compliment.

  33. TRHein says:

LoL, Well that don’t beat all. Never called a woman a broad myself but hey, if no offense taken :)

  34. sdferr says:

Trying to keep the lid on is understandable. But a lot of pressure can build up under that lid.

Speaking of lids and pressure cookers, Dave Axelrod is in a tizzy at explosive seriousness of the boiler he’s sitting on.

Top Democratic strategists have reacted quickly to stop a proposed $10 million advertising campaign that would highlight the relationship between President Barack Obama and his old Chicago pastor, Rev. Jeremiah Wright.

Plans for the potential ad campaign were revealed this morning by the New York Times.

“Stunning! Will Mitt stand up, as [Sen.] John McCain did? Or allow the purveyors of slime to operate on his behalf?” claimed a 5.42 a.m. tweet from David Axelrod, the senior strategic at Obama’s campaign headquarters in Chicago.

The proposed advertising is a “hateful campaign being planned by GOP super PACs,” claimed Bill Burton, who runs a Democratic “super PAC” political action committee, dubbed Priorities USA Action, that is itself designed to run negative ads against Gov. Mitt Romney.

  35. Gulermo says:

Hispanics ARE white, (with some Semitic thrown in por sabor). Hence the use of the word HISPANIC; from Hispano, a place if I mis-member correctly. Most Hispanos identify as Hispanos, Mestizos, ( mixed race ), or Latinos, ( those that habla la lengua Madre). More often than not one’s ability to speak said language determines social status and superiority.

  36. cranky-d says:

Take a look at Spanish language television some time. They look pretty “white” to me for the most part.

  37. cranky-d says:

Cranky – stop worrying about spell check, you’ll sleep much better

I take it you don’t have any OCD tendencies. Lucky you.

  38. leigh says:

Gulermo, one of my girlfriends is Puerto Rican and a professor of Spanish at the Univeridad in Ponce. She is very fair and has straight black hair. Definately Spanish in her looks. I have known blonde and red-haired Spaniards, as well. I learned a lot about Spanish/Hispano culture from her.

  39. leigh says:

Heh sdferr. The chickens comin’ home to roost.

  40. Gulermo says:

Skin pigmentation, (or lack thereof ), eye and hair color are not the only indication of Caucazoid characteristics. See also Othello.

  41. Pablo says:

Hence the use of the word HISPANIC; from Hispano, a place if I mis-member correctly.

Hispania, which is what the Romans called the Iberian Peninsula.

  42. SDN says:

If and when that pressure leads to an explosion of white backlash, things could be a lot worse than if the truth had come out earlier, and steps taken by both black and white leaders to deal with the hoodlums and with those who inflame them.

Dr. Sowell is making two unwarranted assumptions here: that the black and white leaders are not the ones doing the inflaming, and that those same leaders don’t want as much backlash as possible to justify openly bypassing the Constitution.

  43. leigh says:

Othello is referred to as The Moor. So, yes there are Arabs in the mix, as well.

  44. cranky-d says:

Skin pigmentation, (or lack thereof ), eye and hair color are not the only indication of Caucazoid characteristics. See also Othello.

However, to the casual observer (and race hustler), skin pigmentation is going to the be deciding factor in determining “race.”

  45. TRHein says:

    Crany-d,

Over-the-top Computer Dependency? No, sorry I don’t have the problem. Now if you had said keeping a large copy of Websters and a Thesaurus handy and there by causing an elongated response time. Well, yes, I am guilty of that.

    OT;
Over at the right scoop, Levin is all over Boehner for the report that he’ll consider keeping “the popular” parts of Obamacare, even if SCOTUS tosses the whole thing. Levin says if true, Boehner needs to go.
Even if not true I think Boehner needs to be gone.

  48. TRHein says:

    Cranky-d – SIDK. Reference Leigh @1:24pm

mcrever59; Romney is Boehner is Romney Obama. Yes, they should all be gone.

  49. RI Red says:

Darleen, we’re going to need a new thread to discuss Boehner…

  50. bh says:

Here’s a bit more on the topic.

Still see no reason to keep Boehner around though.

  51. leigh says:

    Darleen’s probably at work, Red.

Bh, do you have the keys today?

  52. bh says:

I do, leigh, but I don’t know if it’s actually a thing or just Politico playing their normal games.

  53. motionview says:

Jack Cashill gets some long deserved recognition.

  54. leigh says:

  55. leigh says:

Krauthammer was quite upset about the drone thing, too. I thought we had a “reasonable expectation of privacy”?

If a bitter-clinger takes a potshot at a drone, is it a federal crime?

  56. cranky-d says:

I turn off all automated spell checking. I let it underline stuff if it wants to, but that’s it.

  57. Lamontyoubigdummy says:

That’s a good article bh. I’m not sure what the Repubs are considering “preserving”. Then again, nobody knows what the hell is in that 2,700 page law. There may be a few good things in there just by accident. Anyway, guaranteed issue is a non-starter. That’s industry suicide. Even if you open up the sale of policies across state lines (which needs to be done immediately-the actuaries re-jigger risk pools and premiums drop), you can’t have folks signing up for coverage on their way to the OR.

  58. leigh says:

Over at neo-neocon, black voters forgive Obama.

    Of course they do.

  59. cranky-d says:

The “more popular” parts of Obamacare are usually things that drive the cost up and/or make me pay for stuff I don’t need. Frak that.

Kill it, and begin with some free-market ideas. Most of all, don’t try to do too much at once.

However, Boner will screw it up like the statist he is. I want him gone.

  60. cranky-d says:

We all know that anything Obama says that’s scripted is political posturing, He has no core convictions whatsoever, beyond those held by the Frankfurt School.

When he speaks off-hand, he mouths post-Marxist platitudes. That’s the only truth he knows.

  61. Lamontyoubigdummy says:

Do you want to start a new catch-all thread?

If bh will put the site in neutral, cranky & I will push it down the driveway and bh can just pop the clutch when we’re clear.

Worked with my Dad’s truck in high school.

Maybe it needs to be 2:00am though.

And we all have to sneak out a window.

  62. bh says:

I put up a post on it for people who want to talk it over. I didn’t have any pearl of wisdom to add.

  63. Lamontyoubigdummy says:

Over at neo-neocon, black voters forgive Obama.

    Yeah, leigh…they’ve “evolved™”.

This was always gonna be part of the narrative. Romney was never gonna pick up any African American votes. I do wonder how many of them stay home on election day though.

  64. leigh says:

I do wonder how many of them stay home on election day though.

I’d like to see a tally, Lamont. I did read that Buh-rock could very well lose Maryland over this. Baltimore is a brown town with lotsa churches. I can’t see the church ladies pulling the lever in good conscience over this. It’s just a bridge too far.

  65. Lamontyoubigdummy says:

Eh. Maybe liegh. But there’s no more “Barack’s Stash” myth. You may be right, but I don’t think he’s getting anywhere near the 2008 turnout.

Hey, mc4ever59. Remember that thing you said about the NOW/ CAIR joint statement?

    Found it.

  66. leigh says:

Lamont, I think that someone, somewhere has polaroids or other photographic evidence of Buh-rock doing something bad that was not quite as remote in time as his autobiographies.

Something much much worse than cutting some hippy’s hair in prep school.

At least I hope so. Anyway you slice it, voter turnout is going to be down. Everyone here who isn’t a full-on redneck is a dem and I see no bumperstickers for anyone except Ron Paul.

  67. mc4ever59 says:

    Lamont at 4:29PM;

Heh. They are , in the end, perverts of the first order.

  68. sdferr says:

Where was it Keenan Wynn’s character said “preverts”?

  69. sdferr says:

    Nevermind.

  70. Lamontyoubigdummy says:

sdferr, I like to think that some variation of that scene happens at Guantanamo Bay at least twice a day.

  71. Lamontyoubigdummy says:

Everyone here who isn’t a full-on redneck is a dem and I see no bumperstickers for anyone except Ron Paul.

Jesus. Put the rednecks aside. They’re predictable.

    Dems & Paulbots?

You, the husband, & the kids need to move.

    Just for safety reasons.
