Another moment of unabashed pragmatism

Nobody says you have to post when you’re this hung over, guy.  I mean, it’s not like you’re getting paid or anything.

Sometimes it turns out better than posting when you’re drunk.

  2. andy says:

So, how late did everyone else stay out?

In a World Wide Rant first, I limited myself to 5 beers the entire night.

  3. r says:

Well, I think I saw 9 Guiness on one of the tabs …

and I was drinking hefeweizen only …

  4. Jeff Goldstein says:

    Doh!

  5. dorkafork says:

If it makes you feel any better, I had one of those Guinnesses.  Guinessi?  Guineese.

  6. MC says:

So, a little more than a jaunt over for a little meeting, eh?

  7. Andy, you left at a good point.  Jeff started singing old Buffalo Springfield songs.

  8. YOU HAD A PARTY AND DIDN’T INVITE ME??????????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  9. wheels says:

They didn’t invite me, and I’m local. :-(

  10. It wasn’t a party, RWS, it was a wake.  We commenorated the death of my innocence.

  11. Thanks to everyone who took the time and trouble to come out. I had a great time meeting all of you, swapping lies, arguing the relative merits of Mike Shanahan, Jake Plummer and Pete Rose, but most of all, stealing Robin’s innocence.  Only Jeff was brave enough to bring out the women and children.  Oh, be careful about wandering too far afield trying to come up with the plural of Guiness—you were coming dangerously close to Genesee Cream Ale.

  12. You mean its not dead, Charles?  You stole it?  What do you want for its return in the fine condition it was in?

  13. Well Robin, I’m afraid nothing within the power of mortal man can restore its original luster at this point.  Perhaps you should check Ebay.  I think you’ve got another 16 hours before it’s gone.
