Slouching toward dementia, 4 (or, my scissors talk to me again)

Of course it’s a good idea to cut your own hair.  What, you really think those hacks at Great Clips care about how you look?

Now relax and let me work my magic.  You wanted to look like Ashton Kutcher, right…?

  1. A fine scotch says:

Barber clippers (with guards and comb) are $24.99.  Much better investment.

Plus, I never trust my scissors any more (not since they told me the response cards for our wedding invitations were tools of the devil and had to be destroyed).  Well, that and my fiancee won’t let me in the same room as scissors…

$24.99?  Get ‘em for 18 or less or you’re a fool.  I bought a set in 1988 and have paid for about three haircuts since.

Just remember: that “short all over” look is what you meant to do.  After a few tries, you can want other cuts.

Scissors? Barber clippers? What a bunch of wusses. I just wind it up in a fork and yank.

  4. Hair?  You guys got hair?

  6. scissors work fine. so long as you have really forgiving hair. rasberry
