I’ll be outside, pruning the roses. Later inside, writing more about Battlestar Galactica or anything else that strikes my fancy. But football season (for me) ended Jan 4.

I love marching season… my youngest is a senior in high school and that means for me my last season as a band mom after 13 seasons.

4 daughters, all band members… #3 drum major of her middle school and high school band, #4 drum major this year of her hs band and ended her season at the So. Cal Field Show Championship

I’m going to feel so strange this summer without a field show to look forward to …

  14. 4 daughters???? I can barely get through this one. PLEASE!! Tell me how you did it????????

Lots of hair dye and Bailey’s.  wink

Seriously, though, I just learned to pick my fights and ignore the rest. And I always tried to be a parent rather than a “friend.” An open, loving, willing to talk about anything parent, but still a parent.

Doesn’t mean there wasn’t some real scream fests, but basically I stuck to my guns and I believe later on the girls appreciated that.

  16. Personally, I’m waiting for professional indoor lacrosse season ….I mean, if your team is the Bengals…..
